  1. And apparently not only is it going to stay the horrible RNG if what DE said is going to be the change, it's now going to take LONGER to find out how bad the RNG will suck for you today...

     

    Guess I won't really be participating until the final fight for the clan awards.... Yay......

  2. The entire issue is in fact the RNG. It may seem fine for some, but its a bad idea to have RNG with a timed event. These mods introduce a new aspect into warframe. Requirement mods. They are a neat addition and a ton of players want them. But if you add RNG in with the window of obtaining them being in a timeframe, things will be done to try to get them, such as aborting after killing and not getting a mod you don't have.

  3. Agreed, I went to bed when Torment was at 55%, Angst was at 90% and Mania was at 95%. I wake up and everythings gone to ****. More health was lost in the past 9-10 hours than the rest of the event put together.

    Once word of aborting spread, Torment went down HARD due to people wanting Argon Scope.... not many people got it as you can tell from the 200p+ prices in the trading chat.

  4. Why does no one bother to read the Operation announcement?

     

     

    - 20 new Event Mods are here, and can be earned as drops from Defeating Acolytes or by playing the bonus final challenger mission.  

    That bonus final challenger will have the same RNG as the others. All 20 mods on one drop table? Sounds worse to me.

  5. i rather kill 150 acolytes then hope for the RNG to give me mods...this event have a really good ideia but the way to get the mods is annoying as hell

    I agree. It isn't really an event, more of a "who can rush to get all the mods before de patches aborting" now.

  6. First off, I would like to say the designs of the Acolytes look fantastic. The event is a great idea. But there is one major flaw.... 

     

    RNG....

     

    The event rewards, in my opinion, should be run different...

     

    In every other event that deals with new mods, we were always awarded all the mods if we did the event x amount of times, or earned x amount of points.... I believe this should work the same way.

     

    RNG in this game can really favor people in different ways. It can also make it extremely difficult for one to obtain these mods, which each drop table is on a time limit.

     

    20 mods (or however many is new with this event) for doing a task would be too easy.If we were able to get all the mods an acolyte can drop if we kill them x amount of times (Which is completing the mission), it will solve a ton of the problems that are currently happening.

     

     

    "Problems? What problems? I've gotten all the mods!"

     

    Out of the 20 mods, i've gotten 1 of the rares. I now have to hope and pray that I get lucky on the showdown boss at the end to get what i need from Torrent. I've also gotten the same drop 30 times or more in a row.

     

    Or, the more common one, "People keep aborting on mods I haven't gotten yet. I can't solo the Acolyte...."

     

    If people participate in the event, they should get the rewards. Not see how many more hours it will take to try to get the mods, and possibly even have to spend a ton of plat for some of the mods.

     

    Even if you plan on providing other ways to get these, everyone that can participate should be rewarded with them. If they miss an acolyte, they miss those drops.

     

    Also if this were to happen, all the Acolytes need to have more health %. If people need to run it 20 times a piece, everyone should be able to get the chance.

     

    Having people to complete the mission is fine, but when you are relying that RNG will get you the mod you need, and missions take 5-10 minutes each, and the Acolyte jumps nodes fast, it can get very frustrating and time consuming.

     

    Please DE, do not add more RNG to an event (something like 3 cashes) that is on a timer, and let a lot of people down on not being able to obtain an awesome set of mods.

  7. I get an issue where i go to paste something into the trade chat window and it doesn't paste. I go to click on the window again, and the ui freezes (no more messages pop up) and I cannot move. I am forced to Alt + F4 out of the game and restart.

     

    I have noticed that sometimes it happens when I go back to the game from my second monitor. 

    (I use the game in fullscreen borderless mode)

     

    EDIT:

     

    I've noticed if you leave the chat (going back to ship) it doesn't crash. You have to keep going back and forth constantly for it to not do it. 

     

    My guess would be some issue with an array or whatever variable type or data that stores the chat log for the chat. When it reaches a certain point in gaining messages it freezes when you try to add one... 

     

    Just a guess. =P

  8. So me and 2 friends were doing a regular mission run. Ended the mission, started the 10 second countdown to go back to our ships. Then i get the "death" animation, then kicked back to the login screen....

    Every time I try to login, it gives me the error "Unable to connect to the servers. ERROR_INTERNET_TIMEOUT".

     

    I have uninstalled, and reinstalled the game. Has not fixed it.

     

    This is the first time I have ever had this happen..... Been playing this game basicly from day one of open beta.....

     

    EDIT: Somehow fixed itself.... =/

  9. I've ran my Ember and Saryn in invasions and tested them both to compare. My ember could hold off the bombards, while the Saryn kept getting smakced by them. It really felt like Ember was doing a better job, mainly because WoF Kills the weaker ones, then haunts the stronger ones and kept them stunlocked with that high fire proc chance. Cheap Accel stun combined, I barely took any damage. As for Saryn, She ran out of energy way too fast, and to keep her renewable, I had to use regenerative molt... max range, TF, Intensify, Fleeting-dont get me wrong, but she only does like 500 damage to bombards on the higher levels. her stun only lasted about 3 seconds, which meant the bombards kept wailing on her.

     

    Ember's in a good spot right now.

    "Invasion" That isn't end game. You sound like scott right now. "I tested it in level 10! Its op! Its good."

  10. I've noticed that if you are at a really close range (~ 3m or less i guess) the bows (Noticed this on dread) has aiming issues..

     

    For example, I shoot straight down, while crouched. It shoots behind me.....

     

    If i get close to an enemy and shoot it misses them and goes to the far right.

     

    This has happened every time i get close to an enemy, and when i shoot at the floor. 

     

    Has anyone else had this issue with other bows? Or is it just the dread?

  11. So i'm seeing that ember is still not viable. Fire damage does NOTHING compared to all of the other frames! THAT is what needed to be fixed! Sure, the additions are nice, but the damage still isn't there!

  12. There is no point in having the first option. Due to the length and notice of the T4's going away, i'm sure there is a ton of players that stockpiled all they could get their hands on, like I did. 

     

    The second option allows for a smaller yet free void key pack, with a guaranteed T3 or 4. This will be REALLY helpful when new primes come out. You can both grind for the key while getting syndicate rep, and then use the rep for more chances to get the keys you need. 

  13. I had lots of old helmet blueprints that have apparently been taken away from me. I should still have these blueprints, as I have EARNED them, via alerts. But yet DE took them all away even after stating they didn't want people to of wasted their hard ours for the helemts from alerts..... Is this a bug? Or on purpose? If its on purpose, it should be changed back to where I have them.....

  14. When I go up to some of the lockers, it does the animation for me unlocking it, but it stays red. Sometimes it lets me still open them even though they are red, sometimes it doesn't. I've also noticed sometimes it does the animation on green lockers when they are already unlocked....

     

    I haven't been using master thief lately, so this could be happening in the regular missions as well. Not sure.

  15. Not going to lie, but DE, this to me, a coder, seems like the most half though put together easiest way out idea ever. Wouldn't it be better to have a pool of effects you can do? That way it allows you to make more helmets, and maybe add more effects later on. Or just keep the effects we have now and not make anymore. It isn't like the helmets help you against level 80's. The abilities are one of the awesome effects of the helmet. Why would you take something that good away? 

  16. I agree. With the helmets, I would really like to have a pool of options instead of it being stuck to a certain helmet. Helmets should just be for looks. But I really dont want to lose some of the things that are with some of the hats. If they do a pool, they could easily come up with new effects, which would be that much better. 

  17. Its done this way to often for me. I finally said enough is enough and came to report it. Apparently I'm not the only one.  I was doing Xini when It happened to all 4 players. After the mission done screen, it should load to the main menu, but it does not. instead the game keeps going without us seeing anything. we can shoot and such, and still get killed which pops up the option to forfeit or revive. forfeit does nothing.... when hitting esc and abort mission, it says it cannot because the mission is already complete....

  18. Me and 3 other players were stuck in a tier 3 void mission (exterminate), as it said there was 2 enemies left, and there was not. My theory is they fell through the map...

     

    If you stood as far down on the floor with the huge blue sphere in the center and the four waterfalls on each side (with the pier areas on the 2nd floor of it), there was a portion of the map that would turn orange(Small hall room with 4 lockers on the side, and turrets)(attached to the 2nd top floor of the sphere map). When you would go up to the level of that floor, but not in the room, it would go white..... I'm guessing they fell through the map.... 

     

     

    I'm kinda sad about this as I got a Barrel Disfusion from a drop, and now i'm out of that rare card due to a bug....

  19. When I entered into the Defence Room, I entered from the top (So i can see both points to defend). Lotus said something like "Point found. Put me in and get ready to defend". I went to one of the points and she said something like "There is the defend point. Put me in." (Idr exactly). I put the device in and nothing happened. It took the device from me, but the defence didn't start.... I'm guessing i went to the wrong one after she said something thats why she said it again?

     

    Side Note: This was an Alert mission for the Ember Helmet, with Infested.
