  1. Just got told in a support ticket that they won't even honour the Heirloom Collection I purchased on PC under the expectation that I would be able to merge my two accounts. So now because my PS4 account is my primary, I just lose all of that expensive, exclusive S#&$ that I don't even have the option of rebuying because it's gone forever. Very cool, real fun, very glad I bought the Heirloom Collection in anticipation of account merge.
  2. I just want SOME form of official response from DE, even if it's bad news. This issue is clearly far above a support workers capabilities at DE, so it just feels like submitting tickets isn't doing anything other than clogging an already likely overloaded support ticket backlog for DE. So many of the cross save / account merge feedback forums posts are about this exact issue, the second most popular feedback post here was about this issue until it was locked by a community mod and despite that, it's still the second highest replied to and viewed. This issue clearly affects a lot of people if it's popular enough to have gotten that high and yet we still haven't received any communication from anyone officially DE. It's just really dissapointing to see after DE have historically been so good with communication, and valuing fair treatment of their players.
  3. I agree, and have reopened it, but expect no changes. Like at the very least I would hope that I could have the platinum and Heirloom collection that I bought on my PC account after account merge was announced attributed to my PS4 account considering I bought them under the expectation that I would be able to merge those two accounts. I would still be upset at all the other stuff I'm losing because of this, like raid costmetics and other currently unobtainable stuff, but it would at least soften the blow. I think the worst part about this whole thing is that I can't help but blame myself for doing the switch migration all those years ago, even though DE actively encouraged usage of that feature and I could never have predicted this result considering at the time, DE said account merging wasn't a possibility for Warframe. It just feels really bad.
  4. Yep, just got a reply to my ticket stating that - "Unfortunately, no, deleting the Switch account doesn't change the eligibility for Merging. At the moment, there is no plan to change this restriction." So basically, goodbye to my entire PC account I guess, because of a Switch account I've literally never used.
  5. Yep, I appreciate what volunteer mods do here, but I'm not sure it's their place to shut down completely justified complaints / feedback on the dedicated feedback forum for one of the largest features Warframe has received. Respectfully, I feel like this is something DE themselves should be responding to, not community moderators.
  6. Looks like this larger thread I was talking about was locked by a community mod, I was hopeful for some attention on this issue by DE, but if our feedback is being killed just before their holiday break, I fear it will never be seen unfortunately.
  7. I wouldn't give up just yet, there still hasn't been any response by DE and I can't imagine that's because they haven't seen the posts, considering how popular they've been regarding this issue. Just hold out a bit longer, if you wait until merging is over, you lose nothing. But if you link your accounts now, and they do end up retracting the restriction, then you've at best set yourself up for a long wait in Warframe support, or at worst erased one of your accounts irreversably. Digital Extremes have always been good at resolving large community issue like these and I have faith that they will try their best to find a fair resolution.
  8. It had better be, considering three of the top five most replied to posts on the 'Cross Platform Save Feedback' forum is about this topic. I would really hope they've seen some of what people are saying about this decision because it seems like a massive oversight.
  9. Yes, any account that was ever involved in an account migration is restricted from merging with any other account.
  10. I'm probably facing the same. Not out of an act of defiance, simply because this news has killed my motivation for Warframe. I can't bear to lose either of my accounts, they each have so much that the other doesn't. I wish I'd never migrated to the Switch, I didn't even use my WF account there after the migration. I would urge everyone who reads this to do the same as this user and submit a support ticket through Warframe's website. Outline your problem clearly including the fact that you are not looking to benefit from a duplicated account, but that a migrated account is preventing you from merging your seperately created accounts, and that this can't be a fair solution to the issue of potentially duplicated accounts.
  11. Well, They just opened the flood gates to the masses, so we'll soon see just how many people this issue effects.
  12. I'm in the same boat, I mean, I'm also upset to lose my PC accounts progress, as it has a lot of primes that I don't have on PS4. My main account is on PS4, but I have a much older PC account (2014) and I have been playing a lot more on that since merging was announced, and because of that I've been lucky enough to have a couple 75% plat vouchers which I have used, and I bought the Heirloom bundle on my PC account. So now, because I happened to copy my PC account to Switch 5 years ago, before cross save or merging was even a consideration, I am not only down my 1k+ hour PC account, but also a fair chunk of money worth of plat and the Heirloom bundle. It feels REALLY sucky and I hope DE reconsiders this decision.
  13. I would hope this is just the sort of thing that the 'drip gate' is intended to catch. I can't imagine that this is how it's intended to be, locking people out of one or more of their accounts because it was involved in a migration years before cross save or account merging was even a conceptual possibility. I'm not bothered by the idea of losing my Switch account, as I duplicated it years ago and haven't touched it since, but losing my PC account from 2014, just because I made the reasonable decision to copy it to Switch when given the opportunity, is ridiculous. I have a PS4 account with more story and MR progress than my PC account which I intend on keeping as my 'main' but I can't lose my PC account and all it contains. I was eager to get back into WF with all of the content I aquired across both my PC and PS4 accounts, but if I'm unable to merge them, I don't know if I'd have the motivation to continue at all to be honest. I hope DE addresses this sooner rather than later.
  14. Maaaaaan, so Prime Vault bundles from the past don't seem to count. I bought the 'Fire & Ice' bundle years ago on PC for Frost and Ember prime but don't have access to cross save.
