  1. thanks for the Patch, i cant play the game anymore. I have extreme flicker i cant even logg in or do anything.

    Nice no chance to finish the event anymore. Great.

     

    Edit:

    Deactivating Direct X 11 helps for the first.

    But looks ugly compared on my PC and have now graphic Bugs on Zoom.

  2. Great update? Obviously, you haven't played it yet... and it's "reflections"

     

     

    I advise playing the game after the update before thanking them.  Then again, don't bother if you're planning on farming for BPs, they're coded as components, so you can't craft them.

     

    I played 3 Missions. No Update here is without Bugs, but they finally begin to work in the right direction with the shortcomings of the game.

    And for me its Reflektion. Live with it or let it be. Its really late here, i poop on the right grammar.

  3. Great Update.

    I really love the new UI with the Comfort Functions and the better Overview. Also now i can see better what items i pick up.

    ALso Nice overwork of Lightning and Reflektions, looks again cooler than before the Game

     

    Still some minor Bugs though, like the endless Mission debriefing Popups xD

     

    And i said you all, Kestrel will get the Glaive Mods as well :)

  4. Great compensation and Apology, i too never saw anything that personal in another game before. We just thought the Update was released to early, and totally messed up the mechanics with too much Bugs and errors included.

     

    It really killed the fun to play the game a bit. So its good it was solved that way now :)

    You totally messed the game up now finally. Nothing works anymore, no chat, no login, game and launcher crashes. Funny Buttons and all this for a useless Patch. No fixing for the real problems.

  6. The reason is that all Daggers deals armor piercing damage. You Know why? Because they are single target Assasination Weapons. They also should normaly not use the Moveset of a sword, so they are used completely different. Daggers are not a Slashing Weapon, they are meant for killing and hitting weakpoints. Thats why they got Armor Piercing damage.

     

    The Only point i dont get here is why dual ether daggers doesnt have armor piercing but Fang and Fang Prime still has. Maybe they are used in another way more like 2 short blades and not as daggers. But i have none of them, still searching for Fang Prime tough xD

     

    My theory with 2 short blades as ether daggers and a Blade + Short Blade as Dual Ethers would make sense why they dont have armor piercing but not why they have no Serrated blade damage. Maybe they are just to short and have not enough kinetic Mass to inflict heavy damage on normal swings. Would make a bit sense but doesnt help us with the Ether Reaper in any way xD

    i wont give you any more arguements because you arent able to understand them anyways. You are just reading half hearted and dont get or dont want to get what others write. You are too much focused on the exact words written and dont get the connections. Maybe your Knowlegde about Warframe is just to small. Otherwise you woudnt write all that crap.

    Played another 2 rounds at Namaah and i wasnt host i never got double numbers. And i am not sure if i hit any target double. Thats why i am not sure if it worked here correctly.

  9. i can vouch for the blade being VERY see through and i do not know if i should potato of not... i guess i will wait and see with the damage type and table changes. So i will stick with orthos prime and fang prime for now.

    I will wait as well. Its not best idea to already potatoe it if you have not unlimited potatoes xD

     

    What really would be cool, would be a 2 Handed Ether Sword. I would so buy it :)

  10. It seems you didnt read thoroughly elsewise you wouldnt write the same like before.

     

    I didnt tested it with numbers i tested the damage and effects the Mods do. Cant you get that?

    The Numbers just support my theory, after testing. Also it began to made sense.

    Also i clearly wrote that Elemental Mods work, but i also clearly stated that they dont add Damage but get a part of the splitted base damage.

    So why do you argue that way, as i wrote it like 10 times already that the effects works but not the extra Damage??????????

     

    Also Puncture by Shred doesnt work only on thin metal Parts. Walls, Doors and some Objects are no Problem, and they are up to like 30 or 50cm thick. I wouldnt call that thin. Shred on Dread for example only seems to pierce thin Materials, because i can shoot through Shields of Grineer Shield lancers but i dont hit the grineer every time behind it. With Lanka i doo.

    How good Puncture works on Mobs is still not really solved for me, but compared to Sniptron Vandal which can easily shoot trough 3 or 4 Targets, its not working properly.

     

    Also its stated and written down, that Elemental Mods on a Armor Ignore Weapon also do Armor ignore Elemental Damage. With your Post Count you should really know that already. And i just as a side effect after testing i would sign that.

     

    With Multishot we seem to have the same understanding. But i still say that its a bit bugged. I didnt had it know in the last tests, but on weekend on some grineer Missions the Shoot of one projectile of Lanka on Body wasnt strong enough to kill and the second had no effect. I was host, i had no double damage numbers, i dont know why. ^^

     

    A funny thing i also when fighting Raptor with Lanka i get almost no Feedback from hitting him only with exception of hitting his shield.

  11. When i got my Glaive it was still in the market.

    I got now a handful Glaive BP from Logins alone, so its not that hard to get.^^

    I also thought about puncture as well. On kestrel it could just work as Impact that Pushes enemies asside just because they stand very next to each other. Wouldnt be so unreal if you look at the heavy Ragdoll effect of Glaive that can send Enemies fly trough an entire room.^^ So the impact would be quite heavy already. MAybe to reach that it cause es kind of Shockwave at impact.

     

    The other Mods would work the same way than Kestrel actually. As i sold my old 30 Glaive i cant really speak about how effective the Puncture on it is, and how it works atm. Thats a bit of a Problem, because i ahve problems to imagine how puncture combines with bouncing actually xD

    Does it bounce after hitting 2 or 3 enemies standing together, i really dont know.

     

    I just know these Mods would give the glaive a unfair advantage.

    Another argument is, there arent any Weapons you get only per Login or Alerts, that really are anything special compared to event weapons, Research Weapons or Prime Weapons :)

  12. The Ethers were only said to be the tenno's preferred weapon when fighting Infestation. Sounds to me that 3x damage against light infested is the main point, not armour-ignore. AFAIK the Dual Ethers, Ether Reaper and Ether Daggers all stagger on hit, which could also be attributed to the material (need confirmation for Ether Sword's stun capabilities). Two out of four Ether weapons ignore armour, and AFAIK three out of four stagger. All four of them deals more damage to light Infesteds. Gee, AI doesn't sound like the definitive Ether quality at all now does it?

    So as long as it deals 3x damage against light infested I'm fine with the description saying that it's made of the same thing. It wouldn't be breaking any lore at all. Looking at the lesser common ground between the weapons, Dual Ethers and Ether Sword's Serrated Blade quality seems to be more suspect for lore breaking.

    IMHO folks who vehemently demand it be AI just want an armour-ignoring multihit heavy melee weapon that stuns on each hit and also has a pretty fast swing rate that's available for credits as market BP. Gosh that was a long list of pros. Wait, wouldn't that make it like the best heavy weapon??

    Do you wanna have a List of how many Melees deal tripple Damage to light infested? You dont wanna because i wouldnt have the will to write it because it would be a bit longer. Tripple damage to infested. Just some for reference: (Orthos, all other Scythes, Plasma Sword, Gram, Head Swords and so on) You see it doesnt make them anything special. oO

    And like some already mentioned, Dual Ether is Sword + dagger and you use both of them to hit your targets. And both do now armor ignore.

    Maybe you will get it in the near future.

     

    Also description states, its made of same material than Ether swords and not as Ether daggers.

     

    Some Guys really need it really written directly in their face to get anything oO

     

    And i wrote already, i would lower the base damage and others wrote its not a charge weapon. Its just that Reaper Prime is to weak maybe. Because i still prefer Hate, Gram or Fragor over it.

  13. Not sure if I understand you correctly, but exactly what "buff" of the Glaive are you referring to? The base charged damage is still what it was from the day of its release, 150.

     

    OT:

     

    In case you haven't tested it yet, Thunderbolt now works properly for the bow weapons, all your normal/modded damage procs before the explosion one so it doesn't kill your DPS.

    It doesnt seem the way. Playing the Game and reading arent your benefits or?

    I did write in past tense. Because there was a Time when Thunderbolt only worked for Dread. Remember?

    And my Damage is procced before the explosion issnt right if it wasnt changed by Update 10. I played Dread very often and when there is a explosion the normal damage of the projectile is replaced by the explosion damage only.

    This was the Case before Update 10, didnt test it since update 10.

     

    And when i refer to Thunderbolt i mean it was buffed duo the 3 new Mods, that increase its effect, especially the puncture. But i cannot test how good the Mods are because i sold my Glaive and got a Kestrel instead, it made more fun.

    But Kestrel is the same kind of Throwing Melee Weapon, shares some of the same weaknesses and would benefit the same way from Mods than Glaive.

     

    Is that so hard to understand?

  14. extra for you i tested a bit more and i am right.

    I played some rounds at Callisto with different Mod layouts and what i found out is that.

     

    Damage Numbers for Individual Elements are shown when you are Host when not, they are not shown with exception of Multishot.

    Second Elemental Mods add Effects like you said and i didnt argue against it. But like I said Elemental Damage Mods adds Effect like Ice Shatter but they dont add any extra Damage. What i observed is, that instead of Adding Damage like they normaly should, its more like the Base Damage gets reduced for its, much like the Damage of Base + Serration gets Divided in 3 Different Damages of in my Test Ice, Armor Piercing + normal Armor ignore Damage.

    I could see it on the Numbers and the Effekt. I took some Ancients from Wave 5-10 as reference. With and without Elemental Mods i needed Exactly the Same amount of Hits to kill them. 1 Shot in Head and 2 Shots in Chest. I coudnt notice any damage increase at all with Elemental Mods ecuiped.

     

    But with Elemental Mods equiped i was able to shoot sometimes 2 Hugging Infested with one shot, without Elemental Mods Puncture only worked trough Objects. Dont ask me why. I did extra take position before the long tunnel for getting good shoots in crowds.

     

    I tested it before writing here, so dont say i dont know about it. Maybe Lanka was broken for a longer time, i can only argue about the last couple of days because i just build it recently and i cannot ask many about it because its underrated by most players. Vandal is much easier to handle and the Bows easier to get.

     

    As a resume my guess is that:

    1. Numbers displayed are correct in the UI and in the Game.

    2. But in the Game only damage that counts will be displayed. So light infested still die by base damage part because of crit and 3time damage + sometimes weakpoint hit.

    3. Damage from Elemental Mods doesnt seem to add Damage but Base Damage + Serration will be splittet in a Normal Damage + as many parts as you have elemental Mods equipped. Thats why the Damage Number of UI issnt increased

    4. But because Armor ignore is Base damage, all Elemental Damage Parts are also armor ignore, so the overall Damage will roughly stay the same but you get added effects and maybe more damage against shields.

    5. Shred does mostly not work here, but works very good through Walls and Doors

    6. Multishot stays a Mystery as well. Seems to work often but somtimes not. Still not sure why. But Multishot allows you to kill 2 Enemies in a row when one hit already kills.

     

    You are welcome for testing, ;)

     

    p.s. Maxxed Serration + Multishot + Crit Mods still kill lvl 100 Mobs and above if used right. So maybe you wont feel the missing damage.

    But i watched a Video back in Time were Lanka still seemed to work. It made a crazy S#&$ of Damage against a Corpus Boss.

  15. i never said the effects of the Elementar mods arent working they just dont add extra damage. I know that a lvl 0 Lanka can kill already medium Mobs. I did take my zero Lanka with me to raptor and onehittet Corpus crewmen with headshots and they are lvl 40.

     

    And i do not only talk about numbers. Lanka as the only of my primary weapons i used since Weekend dont get higher damage in the Equip UI with Damage Mods added. See for yourself.

    Second Multishot does not work everytime especially not on Grineer dont know why. I would normally Kill them even with Body Hit if all 2 shots would be aplied. You wanna know how i tested it? I just used the Lanka with and without Multishot on the same Enemies.

    Body Hits without Multishot, i needed 2 Hits for a Kill. Body Hits with Multishot, still 2 Shots to kill them. Tested on Naamah only with a small Serration Mod and with or without Multishot.

    On Infested at xini, multishot worked, it everytime made 2 hits or did go through enemys when one shot were enough.

     

    I tested Piercing and Cryorounds the same way. I saw the Shatter effect on headshots for excample but they didnt made any extra Damage on normal Hits like body, I wasnt able to kill Enemys faster with them aplied on.

     

    And as i posted before, i wrote that i also are able to make nearly 5k Damage when hitted right without extra Damage Mods or Vital Sense and no maxed serration.

     

    So i did not only watched the numbers but how it helped killing enemies.

    Ether Daggers - Purple/whiteish. Looks smooth and appears clear in-game.

    Ether Reaper - White/grey/yellowish metal. Looks like a long, metal blade made for slicing.

    It doesn't seem to be translucent here. Which is weird. Can anyone get an in-game image of it?

    3. I agree with that last part.

     

    Maybe you should get yourselve ones before talking and stating thinks as a fact only with help of 2 small pictures.

    In the game itself both have the same transparency and even the same tint. Only these Pictures show the ether sword blue and the Reaper brown.

  17. i misswrote that. There should be a Limit to it. like 2-4 Extra Slots. Maybe making the extra Slots visible but locked until you use a Forma on it. Wouldtn Your attemp do the same? You have already infinite Slots from the Beginning. It is still alot of work to level a Weapon like 5 times from 0-30. And for 2 extra Mod Points that issnt really much. You would still have to polarize your old Mod Slots to make use of it. In Fact if you use 2 formas on 1 new Slot you only get 4 Mod Points worth but have to levelup a weapon 2 times from 0-30. Only hardcore Players would drive it as far as the horizont. ^^

  18. what the F*** are you smoking? Neither Piercing Hit nor Cryo Rounds have Damage effect on that Weapon. Also Multi Shot does only work sometimes and sometimes not. Seems to be a Mood thing of the Lanka, deciding if Split Chamber will work on a Single Target or not.

    Vital Sense seems to work neither.

    Also the Armor Ignore Damage on Grineer Bosses for example doesnt seem to work. I do only roughly half of its base Damage against them.

    Test it out on Boss @Everest on Earth.

     

    I make around 4500 Damage to the Head of an Ancient but with white Numbers. and 1160 Damage to the Body. And i have Only 4 Mods in the Lanka:

    Serration

    Split Chamber

    Shred

    Speed TRigger

  19. How idiotic of a thread.

    All Melee UI Stats are working incorrectly and you open a damn Thread about one stat of a Weapon shown there then? oO

     

     

     

    It's just a UI display bug guys - not a nerf. A lot of weapons indeed display the wrong numbers on their stats. My Vasto alternates from 300-450 damage depending on the UI's mood and it shows my Lanka has having a 0% crit rate for example.

     

    I'd suggest starting the relevant thread to report these UI stat anomalies in the "UI Bugs" section of the forums.

    It doesnt show 0!!! It has written "--" there like a placeholder for i have no clue either dont fuckn ask me how much it is. xD

  20. Also the Ether Reaper isn't f**king ethereal. Look at it! That's a crude metal scythe. It -is- sexy, but it is not ethereal. (And Ether weapons are sexier.)

     

    Make it a skin or something, and make the default skin an Ether Reaper.

    Do you really read and think about what nonsense you write? The Material of the blade is exactly the same, you can see it and its also written down by DE in the description. 

     

    They should make it the same damage type and just lower the base damage to 40.
