  1. Well the Corpus got... 

    1. Alad V in many different parts of the quests, with 3 versions of himself

    2. Nef Anyo playing a clear role in Fortuna

    3. Revamped boss fights

    4. Complete overhauled maps

    5. Abundant lore fragments (Fortuna, gas city, Khora)

    6. Updates that carry lore with them.

    7. Enemy variants and weapon variants.

    See what Grineers have.

    1. Big outer circle lores without depth, only added with cinematics.

    2. PoE, where it's more about Cetus people, not the Grineer. Even then, Grineers are just re-skinned normal mobs.

    3. Liches, yes. But still without context or lore.

    4. Earth which is just a remaster, not a revamp or remake.

    5. Ghoul data fragments? That's just one.

    6. Same bosses.

    7. Enemy designs with no real diversity.

     

    Content wise, Grineer does have a lot. But it only is there for the sake of the game. No lore or fun. Corpus always comes next, building the update on the feedback on Grineer updates. Grineers are just lab rats. In-game wise and update wise.

  2. Cinematic quests, liches, railjack and all that. Sure. Grineers do take up majority of CONTENT. But when it comes to lore, integrity, stability and diversity, they just don't stand any chance against the Corpus. (Let's put aside the Infested and the Corrupted for a moment.) Grineers are always a labrat for testing the new mechanics. After the bugs and feedback, the better version of the new gamemode/mechanics get implemented to the Corpus. Through Plains of Eidolon/Cetus, the Orb Vallis/Fortua was set up to be the better version of the open map game. Now, with all the feedback from liches and first railjack, the Corpus, once they get THEIR versions of the gamemode, will have far better version of it while the Grineers will be abandoned, stuck with the old and relatively bad version of it all. While the Corpus have all the mob variants with diverse designs, Grineers are stuck with same old potato design. Even when it comes to weapons and stuff. And the rework and revamp. While the Corpus got a new set of mobs with new Jupiter and are about to get a brand new ship tileset with THEIR new version of mobs, Grineers are still stuck with the exact same stuff from years years back. Now don't go "But they got remastered Earth and Kuva Fortress!". The earth remaster was a straight up REMASTER. No real new "rework" anywhere. No newly designed mobs or layouts. Kuva Fortress was a new map, sure. But the mobs were just re-skinned same old bois with re-skinned old guns. 

    It's a sad truth. Grineers only get the beta version of everything, only to get stuck with it. The lore is provided only with the cinematic quests, which doesn't exactly provide any "inside" lore that explains details of things. Corpus is always loved more than anything, filled with meat and bones. They even got main villains narrating on the lore, for crying out loud.

  3. While other, much bigger decorations such as orokin cell array, costs only 5 capacity cost, one single articula decoration costs 100. I don't really get why this is the case. Does it have something to do with the coding? Do too many action figures crash the game? But then again, 1000 roombas don't exactly shut the game down. Could you please reduce the capacity cost of articulas to, say, 20 or 50?

  4. Compared with the original concept art our good Inuzuka made, there are so many problems here.

    1. The two tails are too flimsy, short and weak.

    2-1. Her lower belly is too wide and protruded. She looks like a would-be mother.

    2-2. Now, the waistband being too short is causing that.

    2-3. And the overall length and width of her waist just puts it all off balance.

    2-4. The red component on her leg is supposed to climb up to her entire pelvis, not just  up until the thighs.

    3. Legs too thicc, and the flowers on her legs are waaayy too up high. Her shoes and additional decor on her feet are gone.

    4. The flowers on her breasts are too large. See, This takes up all the room for additional details.

    4-1. This also feeds back into the issue with the waist. It shrinks the room for details and decorations down, forcing the rest of the design to be weak and small. 

    4-2. And it took away the additional flowers that climbed up her shoulder.

    5. The shoulders are too low and weak. This makes the flower look extremely off-balanced and makes her neck too long.

    5-1. The thorns that are supposed to be there just aren't there to be seen.

    5-2. Additional details on her left shoulder is also gone.

    6. The helmet looks as if it was sculpted from the basic alt-helmet of Khora. 

    6-1. The thorns are almost unnoticeable.

    6-2. The flower, again, is just too big. It looks heavy. Especially so when it is on that long flimsy neck. 

    6-3. And what are those additional metalics doing there? That doesn't look fun to colour. It'll ruin the overall balance!

     

     

    In all honesty, I wouldn't have complained too much if I didn't know the original concept art. I wish the team took more time to put out a deluxe skin and be bold with it. This one really isn't doing the original concept art any justice. It overall tone and weak design choices reminds me of Ember's chicken DEluxe too much.

  5. I can easily see the person who sculpted the Ember's chicken skin did this. I'm expecting some weirdly mixed colours put under the half transparent surface. GOD they really screwed this one up. The concept art was amazing, but this one, this thing in-game is just... No. Flowers are too damn small, that decor on shoulder is too small, and her shoulders are also too goddamn small which makes her neck look longer. Inuzuka's designs are spot on, but I really am starting to question the designer's ability to bring to life.

  6. Let's start with dual wielding. It's been a LONG time since they released and promised to deliver the rest of it. Now we have melee 3.0. The system is set. But WHERE is the rest of dual wielding? There isn't even a mention of the thing anywhere. Even when considering the possibility of the team not putting it in because the new melee system was coming, delaying it for this long and not even bringing it up when questioned about it multiple times is not nice.

    Next, Zephyr [DE]luxe. DE is a business firm. They will make products and byproducts that has a market so it raises enough revenue. Making a [DE]luxe skin for a warframe with a very low player support is obviously not a good decision from a marketing standpoint. I understand. But I believe the playerbase deserves an explanation or at least a small update. The couch has been telling us "it's under development" multiple times for quite a while now. In today's [DE]vstream, I saw considerable number of questions about Zephyr's [DE]luxe skin. But they weren't even addressed. I am worried that Zephyr [DE]luxe skin is turning into the community's next Hydroid Prime trailer. Forever sitting at the state of coming around some time later.

    I'm pretty sure there are more, but these are the two I can think of as of now. But I believe it's enough to raise some awareness.

  7. 1. Any news on Valkyr getting some love? Steve did mention it. 

    2. Where is the rest of the duel wielding? Did we all forget about it? 

    3. Is Zephyr [DE]luxe going to be our next Hydroid Prime trailer? 

    4. Archwings are still very messy. Especially since the Railjack. To be more specific: Elytron was always weak and unfit for wide space maps. Without any sort of power house abilities or defense abilities, it's become almost completely obsolete. Any plans? 

  8. 1. Dual wielding. It's been a LONG time since it got mentioned. I do remember hearing from a devstream that all one handed melees will be eligible for dual wielding. I REALLY want to know where the whole thing is at as of now. Is it, like, forgotten? Or is it abandoned? 

    2. Phorid rework. I believe this thing was in the oven for as long as I can remember. Any news on this?

    3. I believe Steve kinda hinted about Valkyr's touchup. I'm VERY interested in this one.

    4. Archwing, pets, and companion reworks.

    5. Modular Archwings. Where are they, and through what and how will it get integrated?

  9. Weapon exilus mods are there, I believe based on what the team told us, to provide the use of utiliy mods without sacrificing a mod slot. However, from what I see, the currenlty available collection of pexilus mods doesn't exactly look complete. I don't get why, for instance, Fast Hands isn't a weapon exilus mod while Ammo Drum is. The way I see it, one of the categories of "utility" for a gun would be faster reload, more bullets in a magazine, increased maximum ammo, and more chance of picking up ammo- but only the increased max ammo option is available. And, you know what- I think mods such as Wild Frenzy, Firestorm, or Shred (to some extent) should be available for the pexilus mod slot. They all do not fiddle with the stats of the gun, but simply provides "function" or "utiliy" of choice. 

     

    I hope one of the staffs replies to this. I'd like to know, if these can't be done, why.

  10. Elytron really needs some touch-ups. You see, I believe this particular Archwing was designed to hold down one spot and deal some damage in a large aoe to repel general space units.

    But here in Railjack missions, fighter jets aren't slow or still. You can't really hit anything with 1 unless you go pop it in the face, 2 doesn't work since the map is too wide and there are simply too many enemies, 3 can't be affective since the area is so wide open, and 4 -the "tactical nuke" as strong as a firecracker- works even worse than it did in archwing missions: it either flies off into nothingness or hit a rock, harming nothing (unless you throw it at a missile battery.).

    Sure, we have archguns, but what is the point of having an archwing if it does not serve its purpose? 

  11. I would love to see/hear more diverse voicelines and personalities from liches. The current female lich - serious, male lich - mY dUmP yOiNk got me going "ehh." after just 3 liches. Even more so since I got 3 male liches in a row. I would like to have a serious male lich and iDiOt TaX female lich, at the very least. 

    And, you know. Some addition of even more diverse looks of liches. I- I mean, hopefully. In the future. Later. Soon?
