  1. I would like to also add that once you should break the containers inside Crewships. Those drop good amount of loot and it only takes a few seconds to do so.

A method I use is to once I board the Crewship directly run to the its gunner and shoot him once so he gets up from that turret. After that, since that Crewship is mostly harmless against my team and if Im sure there is no other Crewships outside either, I start killing the grineer in the Crewship to farm some intrinsics for my team.

Do at your own risk and read the chat for your teams callouts.

    Damage isnt all though.

Vidar seems to win across the board.

Normal base damage, good crit and status when you reach mk3 and they come with dirty cheap heat costs. This means they are easy to manage, can get great benefit from crit damage avionics.

Zetki just eats through your heat, even when you have heat management bonuses from avionics and captain skills.

I agree with this and want to add that, for example in Carcinnox case Zetki only has around 50% more damage than Vidar variant but it heats up 3 times faster. Additionally Vidar can get a damage bonus % while Zetki gets a fire rate % which worsens its heat up even more. So I would say Vidar Mk3 Carcinnox is superior to Zetki Mk3 Carcinnox.

But in Cryphons case, since it is a high damage per hit weapon which is used mostly like a Semi Auto, if you combine it with the Polar Coil avionic, which increases heat capacity, Zetki version of it would be the superior one with its highest base damage.

It all depends on the weapon I guess.

  3. What I mean by the title is, for example, a Zetki Mk3 Carcinnox will always have a fire rate bonus, a Vidar Mk3 Carcinnox will always have a damage bonus,  Zetki Mk3 Cryophon will always have fire rate etc. Just something I thought was interesting.

EDIT: I have tested this in about 20 weapons. If anyone has gotten something different please post it.

  4. I see what Steve's point in the stream was with how there should be an enemy that kicks our butt for a change, but in the current system there is no way to avoid this. If you want to find the correct Parazon mods, you HAVE TO get killed. I like the Lich system in general but this isn't a fun or engaging mechanic in any way.

Also I don't think anyone realized Liches also die when they kill you until Steve mentioned it in the Devstream today. I think that should be more emphasized.

  5. Just wanted to make this more public because I'm seeing that a lot of people don't know about this. If an element has a type effectiveness bonus against an armor type, in addition to the damage bonus it also ignores that much of that armor type. Examples:

Corrosive deals +75% dmg to Ferrite Armor. This means it ignores 75% of enemy armor EXCLUDING its procs.

Puncture deals +50% dmg to Ferrite Armor, so ignores 50% of enemies armor. It also has +15% dmg bonus against Alloy Armor and ignores that much alloy armor.

Radiation (you probably saw it coming) deals +75% dmg to Alloy Armor, 75% armor ignored. (Poor eidolons)

This also applies to elements which deal less dmg to armor. Example:

Electricity deals -50% less dmg to Alloy Armor so enemies armor increases by 50% for calculating the dmg done by this element.

If you knew about this, cool. I just learned this recently.

    For reference: https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/Armor#Alloy Armor

  6. Loot Detector.

I just bring a Corrosive weapon with me, so killing enemies isn't a problem at all. Since 1 Corrosive proc is around as effective as the CP aura, I don' see the point of equiping it unless you have a coordinated squad with multiple people running it.

Also a large loot detection radius makes looting in that huge map a ton easier. It helps in Cache bounties too.

Isaah was sacrificed because Ballas had turned Isaah's father into a warframe. Least that's what I got from it.

But Isaah wasnt sacrificed. He was just killed by Ballas controlling Isaahs father. Ballas could have kept him alive, but from what I understand he just wanted to torture the father.

  8. Well yes, Isaah and Ballas died and Lotus left us. But neither of these are in anyway a sacrifice.

"Second Dream" was about our Tennos... lucid/second dream.

"The War Within" was actually the war we were having within ourselves AND its something Lotus says at the end of Second Dream.

"Chains of Harrow"... well, Harrow had chains.

So in "Sacrifice", who sacrificed what?

  9. Guys! Guys! Guys!

Do you remember how in the website Ballas says "Lua brings you strength,". Lets not forget Lua is the moon.

And the Umbra Excalibur is colored black.

AAND it howls... to the Lua!

So that means Umbra is a... werewolf?

Think about that for a second.

Now we just need a vampire frame, and you know what I mean by this.

P.S. Actually we can think it as a puppy who lost its hooman. Kinda sad.

Now I will say it again... I smell it is near.

Also prepare for Primed Disappointment if Excal Umbra is just a reskin with a unique mechanic attached to it.

No need to worry about that. Devs have confirmed its not a skin in any shape or form plenty of times.

And hell yeah its near, they cant leave a this big update to Friday.

Interesting. He's labeled simply "Umbra" No hint at anything related to "Umbra" being another version of Excalibur. Maybe I'm looking too much into it, but perhaps it's a sign that there is only one "Umbra" Warframe.

Kind of wishing it's a Warframe I can customize abilities with, but that wont ever happen.

Also, is that an Umbra Skana he's holding?

Well, The Sacrifice website got some additions to it and the Umbra is called as "Rouge Frame" there. So there is a chance its one of his kind but I think i remember DE saying there will be Ember Umbra and other Umbras too in the future, as a side variant to primes.

I mean you cant use operator IF you pick umbra, i didnt say operators will be gone from any frame, it could be just like it was before the 2nd dream: no operator inside that particular frame. Im prolly wrong btw 🙂

DE has nearly never removed or covered up a game mechanic because there players who arent happy with it.

Thinking that Operators are a much bigger lore element than most other things in the game, I highly doubt they will do anything against Operator development.

  13. Here are 2 methods that saved me from lag spikes in a couple of other games.

    - If you havent already, try limiting you max fps to your screen refresh rate.

    - Try getting a better cooling system for your pc. Cpu heating is a really underrated performance problem.

These methods ofc wont increase your avarage fps but will lower the frequency of any spikes that may happen.
