Hi! I have recently returned to warframe after a 2 year long pause, and i've played all new quests and got up to date. As i have been learning about the new mechanics, new modes and lore, I couldn't help but notice how ... Non-functional the dormizone is, and it is a shame. I love the concept of the dormizone, It's our own personal quarters in the Zariman 10-0, the place where EVERYTHING started, a pivotal place in the story, a vast area (unlike the orbiter which is claustrophobic at times) where we get to decorate and make it our own. The thing with the dormizone is that there is no reason to go there other than to decorate it... decorate an area where we never have a reason to go to. So I thought: why not make it a new base of operations? It's a reward for completing a quest that takes a lot of time, quests, and grind to get to and it just feels pointless. So i thought there were ways in which you can achieve this: add all orbiter functionality. Arsenal, foundry, mods station, navigation, store, helminth, focus schools, etc. Make it so that we can do everything that we can already do in the orbiter, so that it can become a late game replacement of the orbiter, our old home. you can also leave the duviri things there. the door to the paradox and its merchant. You could also give us access to railjack from the dormizone, given the fact that the zariman is gigantic, it should be able to hold the railjack in its hangar. Furthermore: More space to decorate equals more reason to decorate, There is no point in getting more decorations for the orbiter, not everything will fit in such a small space. You could also change the login animation if you set the dormizone as your base of operations. Eg: instead of the warframe sitting on the log in screen, you could show the tenno taking a nap on a bed, and standing up as you log in. It's fine if you leave kahl on the drifter's camp. It's a reason to stay there, while the direct access to duviri and its merchant and the vast space for decoration, is a reason to stay at the zariman. I really REALLY wish we could make the zariman our home. It's a beautiful place, and very important too in the context of the game. I really wish you guys could do something about this place. The current state of it saddens me :( I love what you're doing with the game btw. Loving the latest update. Kind regards
