IMO what DE should do is instead of a flat out nerf or removal of the damage of Cataclysm colapse it should deal the % damage with a build up with damage dealt inside cataclysm.

In other words you cast cataclysm, people fight inside it and when you colapse it deals damage based on all the damage dealt inside of it. If damage dealt inside it reached a certain amount it will keep dealing the % damage. Kinda like how you have to build damage on miasma.

This would solve the spam, Limbo would still scale well and would also make you use his kit rather than spam 1 skill.

    +1

Clans and its members that got Ignis BP worked hard to get it.Why do you diminish their success? It was about time to separate clans that are active and united from those that are not.Elitism doesn't have anything to do with this event.I am part of shadow clan that got the bp with minimum effort. We were on 64th place(i think) out of 300 clans getting there by points of 20 out of 30 players in clan with high score being only 1076 points and lowest around 300 points.Moon tier battle was though but in the end they are highest tier.

Totally agreed RistN, I busted my backside to beat my highest personal best to contribute to the clan I'm in. But comments like this OP's one doesn't diminish the fact that a lot of people in the top 10 percentage of each clan tier worked to get the wraith research in their clan dojo. Especially when everyone has their own life outside of warframe and don't necessarily have the time to get an insane amount of points to stay in the top 10% percentage score.

Hema does hardly create a two-clas system, since you can always buy it with plat. It's pay to save time, which is one of the two corner-stones of Warframes financing.

And the Ignis Wraith, that's the same as every other event weapon. With every event there are people sobbing about how new players are now at a disadvantage because they didn't get one single event weapon.

Also, the same with Excalibur Prime...

If anything, it doesn't require wraith parts just regular resources like detonite injectors and argon crystals (two of the requirements) so it makes obtaining it easier to get than the other wraith or vandal weapons.

  4. It's a great (not) feeling when someone complains about lag when you host (no I'm not good with hosting thanks to my internet). DE what about addressing the problems with matchmaking and hosting to prevent these problems so people who don't have internet that's not good for hosting don't have to hear about it? You're redoing waypoints, fixing Limbo what about fixing the matchmaking system?

    Well its weird..

It feels like people who got Ornament in first few hours have the lighting..

Who got after, gets without lighting - in clan people who got it just now have no lighting too.

I run AMD and Intel graphics it's not an Nvidia locked thing. I have the lightning on mine, fiddle with your settings until it works I'd say

Hear me out, because here's the thing: You don't have to play that game mode if you don't want to. I mean, seriously, all you get is a sigil that looks like they picked up a girl at Spring Break and copied her tramp stamp. And that's it. Nobody forces you to go and play nine missions of that new mode you don't like - nobody but yourself. So if anything, you should ask yourself - why? What's so special about that sticker that you absolutely, most definitely need to have it?

I could understand when people got angry with the Christmas Conclave alerts because DE split up last year's cosmetic pack and put it in there. But that? It's like you guys just want to be angry at DE for the sake of being angry. "I don't like Conclave, so there should be nothing that makes other people want to try it." But here's the point: I could say the same thing about raids and arcanes (and those are actually useful and not something a bored seventh-grader scribbled). But I don't, because I understand that other players like them, so I let them be happy.

I missed out on the emblem because DE screwed up the event posing it as an sigil, something that would've looked nice on my warframe's shoulder. And I collect them for fashionframe additions to make my warframe look nice. What I'm unhappy with is more than just that, I have a massive gripe with the damned matchmaking system forcing me to host when my internet is terrible. And the lag in the arsenal switching a frame or a weapon. The armour scaling problem and how it skyrockets making things like CP compulsory to use on your warframe etc.

It might make me look like a scrub but I don't care, if I don't like something I'll tolerate doing it albeit feeling salty if it's something that could go with my fashionframe. But I'm not going to act all whoopy da day and acclaim that this event is "omg amazing" for me to play, I'll give credit for creativity where it's due but this event does not tickle my fancy to praise it.

But apparently it's enough players that DE doesn't consider it a waste to invest more time into Conclave. Also, what would you suggest to incentivise players to try out a new game mode?

Making a short event with a special sigil is pretty much their only option (because I agree that offering anything game-changing like mods, even purely Conclave ones, and weapons is a bad idea), and even then players like you go for their throat. If they don't do anything, the new mode is pretty much a guaranteed stillbirth, if they offer even the tiniest reward people get angry because they feel forced to play that mode. DE can't win this ...

A pve alternative with AI enemies like you had in the Index would be a pve'r friendly and an alternative to having to do pvp.

That is not a tactical alert (it doesn't even say "Tactical Alert" anywhere), mostly because it doesn't even have the tiniest snippet of lore tied to it like actual TAs do. It's a short-time event to get people to try out a new game mode (and it worked for you, didn't it). Plus, the reward is a sigil (and a rather boring one on top) - not a catalyst or a reactor or even a weapon. No, it's a cosmetic that most of you won't use anyway.

Not really, boring as hell I just let people kill me (most of the time) (occasionally take out people If I feel like it) cause I'm doing it for the sigil, not because I like conclave.

  9. Two conclave tactical alerts in a row, please DE do something other than crappy conclave. Bring back the fomorians, razorback, something other than conclave that can be enjoyed. Don't push conclave onto people who aren't into it, yes it is a choice but to get that reward you are forced to join in a free for all. Like being ganged up? Spawn killed? Than this tac alert is right up your alley (sarcasm).

I think that this update is quite good, but it could be better as well. First of, I think that the change with the colored polaritys while modding or replacing the 2000 endo reward with an ayatan sculpture that give a lot of endo and that players could only get from sorties from sorties are very good, because the colored polaritys are a nice feature that not only looks very nice, no it also helps you to keep the overview. The replacement of the endo for ayatan sculptures is in my opinion good, because you can now have a very special decoration, that doesn't take the reward from the sorite away, but that also looks nice in your ship. Nonetheless is one thing there that I strongly dislike. It's the change of the Secura Lecta. I do like it, that the credit bonus now scales with the mastery level, but the bonus at all is a bit small, because to be honest, the stats of the weapon are not the best, or at least there are weapons that are a lot better than the secura lecta. So the only reason players would play the weapon beside leveling it is because players like the weapon and the stances for the weapon, but most of the players play this weapon for earning money and the changed bonus is all in all just to low to play this weapon just for earning credits. A solution would be to set the credit multiplier for the weapon just a little bit higher ( i think 6 as a minimum that scales with mastery and is capped 9 would be the best, because then the weapon would be good again for earning money) but to keep the scaling with the mastery level.

It gives mr more use, more aspects of gameplay tied to mr isn't a terrible thing. I think it deserved a nerf in part due to the heavy reliance on credit farming, it's unhealthy to rely on it as one used to rely on Draco for xp and focus farming, or Akkad for xp alone (it's also a good way to get neurodes and nanospores).

These secura lecta changes are absolute trash. I relied on that weapon completely and spent money getting maiming strike to make it the best it can be, and It saved me outrageous amounts of time getting the last slot $$$ for Heavy Caliber, Serration, Blind Rage, etc. I was already bored to S#&$ playing speed nova reading a book and pressing 4 every 13 seconds staring at a wall for around an hour to come out with a reasonable 2 million or so. If you're going to make everyone play even more for the same reason to get credits for mods, tone them the F*** down then, absolute retardation coming from these changes.

That mentality of relying on a weapon or tilset in such a fashion WILL make you salty, a nerf to the credit boost was expected, the same with nidus. Instead of whinging how about ADAPTING to the changes, people cried that nidus wouldn't be used as much after his nerf but the changes didn't even affect gameplay that much if anything didn't change it at all. Sorry but I think the secura lecta deserved a nerf, because just like old Draco it was too reliant. Don't get salty at DE for fairly balancing a weapon that needed it,

Now we have Baro-only relics that appear on supposedly bi-weekly rotation. That means every 4 weeks you have to spend your relics to buy a relic for a miniscule chance at obtaining the part you need.

    More grinding.

    More waiting.

    gg

Lets see, as far as I'm seeing this post is constructively suggesting a solution to your problem of it. Honestly my biggest gripe was the Hema research and that's not going anywhere and if DE actually stick to their guns and not make any of the costs ridiculous like that in the future they might just restore the faith that the playerbase has for them. Honestly 50 ducats isn't that bad, and if you play it right they can last for ages, someone uses an Axi A2 and gets that part than you select it. But it's exactly like the Akbronco Prime, needed two bronco primes, a blueprint and a link.

My advice? Make some proper suggestions in this forum post that can solve the "problem" with these Baro exclusive relics :)

  13. I'm a pc user, but this has been suggested before as an improvement to the riven system this suggestion would make trying to get a good stats easier. Although I'd think that to stop it from being overpowered, only one stat could be locked in at any time.
