I really like this idea!!!!
I also really like the idea of frame-specific challenges you sort of mentioned, like you need a trinity to heal you through a certain area, or a volt to help the team speed through some parkour.
Would be awesome to have frame specific challenge for ALL frames, like
Rhino - Iron skin required to get through knockdown room, like a bunch of those orokin knockdown towers that send out waves simultaneously, only rhino can get through it with iron skin.
Trinity - Link through fire room
Mag - Pull obstacles in order to jump across a chasm
Frost - Snowglobes to get through laser room
I don't know, that kind of thing I feel would be interesting, give the frames some more personality perhaps.
That would be awesome for the frame specific Cells, cells perhaps about sving the warframes? warframes coming to aid that compliment the abilities?

Focusing one one at a time wouldn't really help , the same amount of community to fomorian damage is being done.
The health of the ships regenerates so its better to focus direction at one ship.

So true, I picked up the Steam WarFrame pack for a friend when it was 75% off. That lucky SOB is like "what is this Master Thief? Is it any good?" ....
I had this exact same thing happen, only he constantly has this luck with the game, He has pretty much every rare mod at this stage and only really started playing a few weeks ago :/

If the fantasy element bothers you, think of it this way... (I came up with this earlier today while my ISP was crapping out.)
Imagine that the Tenno are a bit narcoleptic from their long cryosleep, while simultaneously suffering some kind of cryo-withdrawal syndrome. This imbalance isn't enough to get in their way when they're carrying out a mission... however... occasionally, during their mediation, they may find themselves lapsing into a bit of a waking dream. A nightmare, if you will.
During these nightmares who they are (or perhaps who they are becoming) rises to the surface. The Tenno must slaughter all enemies before them as hastily as possible, or they will perish. They must complete their objective in a timely fashion, or they will perish. They must express their mastery over each of the three forms... or they will perish. (This is in reference to the as of yet unimplemented weapon lock mutators...) Etc.
To tie that into what I've suggested, the nightmare enemies could just be a representation of the looming shadow which stalks the Tenno, which they are aware of, but cannot stop. Or whatever. You can paint the lore however you want. I'm pretty sure Steve just picked the name "Nightmare Mode" because it sounds cool, but I guess it could tie into the story, right?
The Duel mods are a result of the deep inner learning from such harsh meditation ;D
I could get behind that.

If they modeled it from the ANBU masks in Naruto it would be both cat like and badass, not to mention how well that design would fit nova.

Why greedy? BUYING resources, BUYING credits? What does this offer the loyal, seasoned players that have done everything through effort? When the spolit 12 year old gets everything in 10 seconds. This sounds familiar *coughs* Xbox One *coughs*, money making crap, dissapointed as hell.
The reality is, you'd have to be a moron to spend money on materials,
You realize any player in the world could just get any one of those things out of one quick run on the right planet.
You can't hate on the noobs and be pissed off that they are getting ripped off at the same time, mate. ;D

It is so inefficient to buy any of those materials. Not pay 2 win. I mean, You can if you want, but you could achieve the same in about the same amount of time in-game for free at this stage.

As for the "harden the F*** up" comment,there's people trying to do Vor with their lv3 frames and getting oneshoted along with their team because hes showing up as Lv30+ so clearly the scaling got a bit messed up by something
Yeah that is a bit extreme, But I was under the impression it was scaled. Which would make that a bug. As in not intended and will be fixed, which is different to the mod argument. But yeah,fair enough, it makes changing between them a bit stupid. But lets be honest. How many of you ever really changed artifact. Ever.

Re-balance your mods, pretty much everything in this game is harder now.
Here is a friendly bit of advise for all you Tenno out there that are used to one shotting damn near everything in the game.
Harden the F*** up.
Utilize teamwork and use different mods to become a stronger unit. Use lower rank mods in one area to increase the mods in other areas and ultimately how the team performs as opposed to how just you perform.
This is how it is supposed to work. -

This mod system supports a "load out" archetype much better,
The crappy artifacts have been buffed and the best artifacts (notice are now uncommons) are nerfed and dont work everywhere.
Have you wondered if maybe this is to increase diversity? Maybe make players think more about what their entire loadout as a whole is trying to do?
Get a feel for the play style before you judge it.
And to the argument that they dont fit,
Of course they dont, you have maxed all your other mods as much as you can to fit that many mods, you werent counting on another one.
Starting a loadout from fresh with this system will feel much more balanced.
Just calm down a bit, yeah? -

I can't really get behind any argument saying to pay so much for things in-game is unfair.
You can get everything in-game for free, and sure, Vauben seems to be bugged for a few days (I'm guessing it will be fine post update 8, probably along side something to do with Alloy plate or removing it from some of the bluepriints).
You don't want to pay for a bugged Warframe? Good. Don't. Wait for the Alerts (which I'm almost certain will be obtainable within a much shorter period than most are anticipating anyway.)
If you don't want to get ripped off, do some research first and wait for the bugs to become apparent. Most people who would buy him are founders, Founders who got a lot of in-game money spare for that matter. People who got the founders package for the sole perpose of helping DE fund and beta test their product. Further more. People who were willing to pay to beta test.
They get Beta testers for free.
We get that product for free.
Win/win.
I've seen enough of how much DE listen to their community to know that they will only give up on us if we give up on them.
(and it might even take more than that for them to give up on us.)
It isn't pay to win. I'm not even quite sure how a PvE game CAN be pay to win. So long as you all make it to extraction, you all win.
EDIT:You cant be a buttdevistated autist over an optional pricetag. Simple as that.
If you are a buttdevistated autist over an optional price tag, at least have the enlightened sense of trust in a game company that does give EVERYTHING an optional pricetag.
You will find that it is a rare trait in a game developer.

Alerts have taken over my life. But I respect a game that grabs me by the balls and makes me work at odd hours of the night to get pleasure. My kind of game/player relationship right there.
Screw anyone who thinks games should just spoon feed all the content to you. Learn to eat when the food is there. Grow up, dare I say. It's free food either way you look at it. -
Wait.... a new Warframe and a new Tenno?
Cause, you know, Tenno and Warframe are different and if you say both a new Tenno and Warframe you saying that each Warframe has their own Tenno. And it's not just one Tenno hoping between frames.
