Is Limbo really that bad? I've never used him myself, but if I'm in a team with one and the cataclysm bubble is really small relatively to the space we're in, I just fight outside of it, and if the cataclysm bubble takes up most of the room, I just fight inside it with little issue. If I'm feeling up to it, I might even try to play with its mechanics relative to my own frame's mechanics for fun once in a while to.

Limbo's aesthetic look is definitely not my taste (excluding his killer Limina skin) so I haven't gotten around to using him, but his abilities provide a lot of unique ways to play both solo and as a group from what I've seen and read. I think people just like the idea of dragging Limbo through the mud because his mechanics aren't immediately intuitive, fandoms often like to single out individual characters to dunk on, and because his aesthetic appearance is...very annoying.

I think he mostly rubs players who have been playing since before his reworks the wrong way. Typically, anybody playing him just sent people into the Rift, with no way to get out of it. Anymore, you can get out of the Rift, but oftentimes if you can't make out the finer details of being in the Rift during a firefight, you start shooting only to realize you can't hit any enemies.

The thing is, Cataclysm (the globe) renders everything inside it invulnerable to attacks from the outside, and Stasis, another ability Limbo has, lets him stun everyone inside as well. It's the ultimate protection effect in any defensive mission, even though it's often annoying to deal with as a teammate.

And that's the problem with Limbo: even though he's incredibly strong and useful in many missions, he never ceases to be annoying, because his abilities alter the way other players interact with enemies. For that reason I'd want to see him changed further so that the Rift were a status effect on enemies, rather than this spatial dimension players can enter, and purely debuffed those affected without preventing allies from doing their thing. This would probably not be the only change he'd need, but overall Limbo ought to affect enemies without trolling his allies, even unintentionally as is usually the case.

I think it would be good to be able to prime enemies with Rift Energy and then he can still use Stasis to stop them, and Surge to draw power from them. Then you don't have to go through the hassle of sending enemies to the void, then activate the abilities and go to the void to take advantage of everything. Too many steps that in the end become annoying to everyone, and you can barely tell which enemies are still in the Rift.

  3. Ancient spawn rates. At higher ranks, it would make sense for them to be kind of high. At rank 20, the Healers, Disruptors, and Toxics, spawn so quickly, there almost isn't any point in killing any of them. This combined with the Toxic's ability to instakill all but the most armored Frames, makes it ridiculous to play for any real length of time.

    Infested Damage:
We did not want to overlook the Infested in our review. Infested are close-range enemies that telegraph most attacks - and now if one of those attacks hits you, it simply does more damage. Stay agile, stay moving, and the mission is as good as won!

If you're going to go this, please decrease the spawn rates for Disruptor and Venomous ancients. Healers are fine, but I would find these Ancients more bearable if they had spawn rates similar to the Caustic Ancients. It's annoying to kill one toxic eximus just to instantly die because three more are already there behind a wall or something.

I still prefer having idiotic NPC AI guarding the ship that actually follow your orders instead of relying on randoms on a gamemode that is easy to grief or messed up all day.

I prefer an NPC that misses half of its shots, compared to a Player that shoots off to do his own thing and dies every 2 seconds.

I agree and also believe there should be personal extracts. We have a damn orbiter. "Dad come pick us up!"

There should ineed be a method of personally extracting. It would make life so much more bearable in Railjack.

Combine this with a console locked to the Owner of the ship, and I think a lot of people would be happier. Obviously not the Trolls, but most everybody else playing I think.

When you do have a good group though, it always pays to speak up about what you need. Sometimes that may roll over into another mission, or it might be an extra 10 minutes collecting space trash.

You are definitely not the only one. The game created this muscle memory and now it has gone bad. Do you think a "hold to confirm" type mercy would help prevent that?

    It certainly wouldn't hurt.

  8. Bramma is kind of OP. Not only do you easily kill yourself with it, the Lich will one shot you with it.

To self damage, I'd say have it capped at a point. Maybe a percentage of health or something, but it could honestly be taken out (but left it in for Rad). Self damage is fine, but it kind of works against you in a game where you are trying to build the biggest annihilation cannon you can.

  9. Mag with 3 augment is my main go to. So long as you have allies and are paying attention, she can stop enemies in their tracks without too much risk to herself. You may not be getting as many kills as several other frames, but that isn't really the point of playing this Loadout. You set up for everyone to succeed. Until of course you cross paths with a Rad Lich, but that's a different issue entirely.

  10. It took me a year or so before I actually began playing after I had downloaded it. Before then I didn't have a reliable internet access to connect, and I thought it was a much different game than it was. Then I started actually playing it after I found it in my downloaded games when Destiny made my accomplishments feel worthless.  Fell in love with it, and have been playing it almost religiously ever since.

  11. I tend to not have an issue with them blowing up in my face. Until i do. The problem that arises with them is indeed random things happening right as you fire the weapon that causes it to explode, quite efficiently destroying everything nearby that isn't an ally that is not under the effects of Rad. It's especially annoying when you have someone who wants to always be right in front of you at all times for whatever reason. Random occurences do not allow for cohesive usage of explody things.

Also, Nullifiers make life miserable, because they can send things right back at you, and you never know which way they're gonna go, or even if they're gonna just pop up randomly in front of you.

I've tweeted The Lotus on the twitter about this, hope that they can make a compromise lol.

Best of luck. I have a high rate of high percentages for my Kuva weapons, but have yet to see any ephemera on them, so you're pretty lucky in that regard.

Just now I got a Kuva Lich with the Vengeful Charge ehpemera and it's carrying a Kuva Brakk with a 56% electricity bonus.I want to trade the ephemera to my good friend but if I choose to convert the lich I can't get the weapon which is better than the one that I already have. It's really awkward. Is there any possibility that we can get the kuva weapon when we choose to convert the  lich?

Unfortunately no for the time being.

  14. This particular update set has ruffled a lot of feathers, but it's important to note that it is just part of a series that are extending toward an ultimate goal. Right now the converted Liches are really just trade fodder, and occasionally appear to help(though not at the times it would actually help). DE has let slip a general idea of where the system is headed, but it's going to be a test of patience. As it progresses, I'm sure it will streamline into something better as they tweak it. This being said, if you don't want to play it anymore, who am I to stop you?

  15. Oberon is extremely useful if you play him right, but as with any frame, you have to apply time and effort into him in order for it to be fruitful. Basically, you don't have to play as him, but I will because I like his control, DoT, healing, and armor buffs. He isn't just for one thing.
