  1. Sorry about that - we'll get this fixed up on those items! In defense of my crappy new shaders, this isn't a PBR problem, it's a problem in the tint mask texture! Both old (blinn phong) and new (PBR/GGX) shaders added specular reflections on black tinted materials for sure but the problem with these items is the tint mask that applies your black color choice wasn't fully opaque... artist missed a setting to include the alpha (4th color slot) to the tint mask.

     

    We'll get it fixed up for ya!

  2. So let me get this straight: you don't count upcoming improvement to archwing (which are going to be across the entire mode) as happening, because of the way they came to be? And you only count improvements above a certain magnitude? 

     

    Well, at least we know why you don't think anything is being improved now.

     

     

    That's basically the same as our current system but without slots. 

     

    What if we had different sets of slots, let's say chassis, system, and helmet. Chassis would be survivability mods, system would be energy/power mods, and helmet would be utility mods. That would come out to an increase in slots and total mods, but having to be more choosy in each individual category.

  3. I think they will have shield+armor at the same time, they are the mighty sentients, having high mobility melee units(they will fly\hover over the surfaces).. Sounds funny and challenging scenario, i have high hopes they will be the endgame component that everyone wants

  4. i was hoping this would be in one of the earlier updates. as shotguns as they stand are scantly underused. there was kohm! and then it got made hitscan and got damage falloff added.. the idea of damage falloff does make sense. though the range it does so does not. please. increase the effective range atleast and even then. lower the damage falloff over distance,

  5. I'm not going to bother listing them, it'd take too long. We've got like 200 weapons, and no spear yet. To put that in context, we got a gunblade, 2 saw-guns, a laser canon and a throwing hammer before we got a spear. Does that seem a little backwards to anyone else?

     

     

    EDIT: as there seems to be some misunderstanding of the differences between spears and polearms...

     

    Spears are built mainly to be thrusted (or in some cases thrown), polearms are built mainly to be swung (yes you can swing a spear, or thrust a polearm, but its not the intended/most effective usage, also you really can't throw a polearm).

    what about nunchucks, kodachis, that chains with knives (dont know the name), etc, we have a lot of weapons out there mate, i think eventually the devs are going to add those, warframe has to grow a lot more, just wait^^

I hope they remove at least the falloff penalty in 50%... there's no point... in the real world all the projectiles suffer from the same rules of physics, all lose velocity and are affected by the gravity, so if the shotguns have falloff damage.. shouldn't  we get falloff damage in almost all weapons, excepting the energy ones?

  7. Just an FYI, I'm pretty sure you can destroy the rooms and stuff in your clan and get your resources back automatically. Research costs are excluded.

    but all those resources are going to be stored in the clan\dojo vault, the resources are binded to the dojo.

    what you can do mate if you dont want to lose all the effort you put in your actual dojo its create another account and give the warlord status to your secondary character, then look after other clans, if you dont have lucky you can always recover your original dojo..

  8. I...hate the idea of having anything anime related in warframe and i watch anime pretty often. It just attracts too many annoying people.

     

    Thankfully DE knows the limit of how "sugoi" they can make their game before we have a bunch of xxkiritoxx and vVichigoVv names running around.

    Hey, i dont want anything related with anime in warframe, i concur totally.... ME NEITHER DUDE... i think you are misunderstanding the idea this post, its all about the the weapon, the concept.. no one here wants anime blondies with big eyes walking in the relay.....

    ALSO ITS A NORTHAMERICAN ANIMATION, NOT JAPANESE BESIDES HOW IT LOOKS..

  9. As a crafting recipe, how about a Tigris/Hek and an Ankyros + 3 orokin cells, costing 15000 credits?

    Fully support this idea. I assume this would be a secondary due to the wrist-mounted nature of the device.

    i think it should be a melee weapon with the charge option for shooting, also use the recoil of the shoots for mobility with a cool stance ^^

  10. well i suppose they will have armor and shields at the same time, also they look faster thats enough challenge in high levels dont you think? and the images show big spears and something like energy guns, so i think they will be balanced to fight against us with range weapons and those melee weapons
