  1. I have been chat banned for a second time in the past couple of months for a ridiculous reason. This time it's because I jokingly said "FU" in chat because there were only long missions available in the Void Fissure list. It wasn't aimed at anyone, and it clearly wasn't serious. Now that's confusing and frustrating as I use the f-word in chat all the time and it never seems to be something the moderators care about...but an abbreviation of it is? But whatever, it's at least understandable that you moderate a curse word, even if it is done with a huge amount of inconsistency which makes it impossible to know what the rules are. That's not what this is about, it's just renewed my anger over a much more serious issue with chat moderation. I was chat banned for discussing that Rel being autistic is a plot point in the game, despite the conversation being a positive one about inclusivity. As someone with ASD, to be banned from discussing my own condition feels pretty bad at the best of times...to have the game acknowledge the condition and then to ban you for talking about it in relation to the games plot? Do you not see how that comes across? You are using a mental health as a plot point and then excluding the people who actually have the condition from relating to the character. It feels like gas lighting. "Hey you're welcome here...but you better not mention why you're welcome here or you'll be banned" At best it feels misjudged, at worst it feels like you are using mental health as a way to make your characters more interesting when you have no intention of actually being inclusive...it's like you want the cache of appearing to battle stigma, but at the same think autistic people should be swept to one side and not talked about. This would be bad if you are doing it with any mental health issue, but autistic people specifically have issues with understanding social norms and you are simultaneously including and excluding them. I hope you can see why that might cause problems. I've been playing this game for a long time and know the devs care about this stuff, I know none of this is an intentional exploitation but just a disconnect between the moderators and the devs. Could you please educate your moderation team? Autism is not an offensive word...by treating it the way you would someone using a racial slur you make people with ASD feel less than human.
