    Yep there were many Sacrifices in the past. Maybe DE_Steve wants to summary all of them in this quests.

  2. On 23 may there was review by team of whole pre-tennocon content. So we could say that if review was postivie on that day The Sacrifice entered Beta. Thats just one quest so i think 2 weeks for polishing from bugs is enougt. But still on Devstream 112 Steve used metaphor of "checking if door fits" which would mean the whole gameplay content and features The Sacrifice will introduce is still being ballanced.

    But THe whole content could`ve been made way before even starting developement of quest itself. Probably thats why the release of Quest was pushed.

    Steve said no big updates before Sacrifice, UI 3.0 is considered as big update but i don`t se it coming with Sacrifice `cos that would mean 2 x more bugs.

  4. Also think that they will need to balance some mods with Damage 3.0. But still that would be a heavy task.

    For me they should remove/heavily rework mandatory mods like Serration - like it should those +165% but with some drawback like -20% to fire rate, -20% to flight speed. The same goes for Heavy Calliber. Serration is present in alomst every build for rifles

    Also they should specify mods even more. For example:  Serration only for Bullet-based Primary Rifles , for projectile/bows, shotguns, snipers and energy weapons other ballanced mods respectively.

    The other thing: Elemental Damage mods.

    DE should consider to totally abandon Combined Elemental damage mechanism, you know those created from parring two basic elemental mods.

    Combined Elementals in my case are far superrior than basic ones. Still I like to use FIRE damage alot jsut for pure fun.

    But all Combined elemental mods can apply much higher damage to enemies that aren`t sensitive to those types. It all hapens `cos of increasing final damage by adding just two mods. Abd with dual status mods you can add even more.

    Solution: mechanism should be scrapped with introduction of real Mods for Magnetic, Corrosive, Gas, Radiation, Viral and Blast. OFC those elemental damage types should be also ballanced.

    To prevent combining all those mods in one weapon, the Limit of Damage types mechanics should be added in the game. For example max 4 diffrent types of damage for all types of weapons. Incuding the basic one for each weapons.

    They claim to be against "too efficient meta" and "press 4 to win" but it's exactly what the mode is designed for, at least once you go above wave 8-10.

    Although it's cool that they made it easier to reach wave 8, but it's still a boring mode...

    Actually is less boring than Survival `cos faster enemies spawn.

    Also giving so much focus soon large amount of players could be already be half through all Focus Trees. I think DE needs to add something new to that system ASAP.

    Nah im talking about useless in terms of how fast i kill enemies. Some of those Frames and build are getting better after Zone 8-10.  Im just not that type of player who just stand in one place, im just spinning through entire map.

    You dont even need a test to see what the issues are. 

     Saryn is too strong vs weak enemies, and much weaker to strong (circumvented by corrosive projection) while providing full map half Health and damage. Should find a middle ground .

    Equinox with full room stun, slashproc/damage and heavy scaling full room burst.

    Trinity with Link self damaging for high damage clearing. 

    Spin to win high range high scaling high damage builds.

    Without these 4 things in the party, I haven't seen crazy full room clearing.

     

    Thats why Onslaught efficiency thingy should be revamped. Need to acknowledge not only how fast we kill enemies but also how fast we deplete their health bars.

  9. So i`ve got EMBOLIST VISIPHA

    On max:

    +121,5% heat damage

    +313,6% damage

    And its unrolled.

    What do you think about it??

    Keep it? Embolist have "5 star" disposition and those are pretty huge damage boost for such weapon plus it at the end it gives Embolist Gas damage combined with dual status toxin mods could give some advantage over crowded with enemies maps.

    Sell it? I don`t know if that weapon fits me, but also i don`t know if that mod would present any value to other players.

    Roll it? Seriously speaking i don`t know what would be the best stat combo for this weapon. If those are not great what any other positive stats would be great? which negative stats i should avoid or which one wouldn`t seriously reduce Ebolist effectivness or even wouldn`t be applied to this weapon at all ( e.g. like + recoil for Phage).

    Also looking in the past Second Dream and War Within were also huge gameplay expansions. So they are making huge Quest and new gameplays stuff as well which will need a lot of balancing. But still we don`t know what Steve "meant as story and dialoges finished"?. Does he mean the script or all VO and MoCap?

    For me that the part most people forgot when talking about The Sacrifice.

    Tenno could lie in that pod, and ballas is talking to him/us about Miracles and Sacrifices.

    Maybe Tenno will need to Sacrifice something to be able to operate UmbraFrames, like Sanity or smth.
