  1. @Tangent-ValleyIt is really pretty funny man. If you weren’t so troubled by my arguments you wouldn’t feel the need to keep coming on here and posting this crap. Again the only people who laugh without having any constructive arguments are just the fools who have nothing to say at all. Every argument you have made on this topic has been a logical fallacy. What exactly does coming on here and posting pointless remarks even do for you? If that wasn’t enough for you, you even sent me a direct message with nothing to say but more pointless garbage. What are you getting out of doing this? Like does this help with your self esteem? Did it give you a hard on to make those type of remarks, while pretending to be smart. You have no arguments, so you debase yourself with these type of retorts. You simply didn’t like what I was suggesting, so like a child you came on here to complain rather than have an actual civil conversation. You are like a religious fanatic who got his prescious bible stepped on. I honestly don’t care what you and all the other DE white knights on here even think about me. You can accuse me in whatever way you want, it isn’t going to make a difference. It will just prove how toxic and childish the community can be if anyone dares question their god. Your free to post whatever you want man, if that is how you get your kicks here on the forums, by all means keep pretending you aren’t butthurt. 👍

  2. @seprentI found it.

       On 2018-05-17 at 2:59 PM,  [DE]Danielle said:

Hey! AoE will spread Spores with Toxic Lash active 🙂

It was posted in the Saryn revisited 2.0 feedback megathread on Page 5 at the bottom of the page by a guy named zendadaist.

Which is a really stupid mechanic that doesn’t make any sense.

  3. @seprentIt wasn’t a post made specifically to the community thread. There 2 feedback threads that were made, one for Saryn while she was still being reworked and the other for when her rework came out in the update. The person posted it in the 2nd thread, having quoted it in his post. It looked like he had asked a question directly to one of the devs concerning the spores and they replied back. I’ll try to dig for it though. Yeah her spores are still very glitchy though. It only seems to be working in specific tilesets. I don’t know what exactly what they plan on doing with that. It isn’t like they can just leave it like that. Lol people would be pissed.

  4. @seprentThe person posted the comment from the dev, it wasn’t hear say. Your personal experience with Saryn isn’t enough to go on, as people are experiencing complications. Certain maps and tilesets are causing her spores to not go through walls and objects, as if line of sight was affecting them. Where as some people are able to go into onslaught or survival, and the spores will spread everywhere. As for the final thing you said, my argument can be found in the post you just cherry picked.

  5. @GrayArchonthat is pretty funny actually because a lot of people are confused about her abilities now. They don’t know if they are doing something wrong with her spores or if there is some sort of bug issue. Her spores barely function as they are now, outside of few maps and tilesets. It is also kind of a dump reason, as a lot players get confused by elements in the game in general. You can’t really avoid confusing people, even if you nerf something into the dirt. People just need to expirment and learn at their own pace. I actually like what they did with molt and toxic lash. Though, if you read the forums, apparently her spores don’t really spread unless you have toxic lash active, which DE failed to mention in the devworkshop. Apparently it isn’t even a glitch either, one of the devs actually mentioned it to a player in one of the forums, only after the update came out. Which it doesn’t make any sense that DE would have it this way, it doesn’t benefit the spores in anyway. It is just adds a pointless and unnecessary step, probably to make the spores more annoying to cast. How would anyone really know why they did this? DE never mentioned in the build or gave an explanation why? A “set and forget” playstyle? When I hear that is just sounds like nonsensical political jargon. How is it even relevant anyways? Their are a lot of people who just enjoy that playstyle, and removing that element isn’t encouraging people to use her other abilities. It’s just forcing those players into a corner by limiting their option of playstyles, which is lazy and counter productive.

  6. @GrayArchonDE often uses obescure and vague rhetoric to explain their devworkshop builds. Example would be like the whole infinite duration and damage scaling on Saryn spores. DE went into it a little bit but it was still vague. The terms they used to describe what they were talking about sound like buzzwords. I was going through the forums and the devworkshop left a lot of people confused and unsure what DE was even talking about. People were asking questions and they didn’t even bother to respond before dropping the update, which is really disingenuous.

  7. @NightBlitz and you can’t nerf something into oblivion every damn update. DE takes their reworks and nerfs to whole new extreme. And what is with these words people use in their rhetoric, Balance? Broken? What do these words even mean? Everytime I hear people use these words in an argument, they just sound like political jargon. A bunch of buzzwords with no actual meaning or depth. I even ask people what they mean when they use these words. They just end up repeating themselves and saying stuff like, “you just don’t get it,” without actually explain anything. It also seems what is considered balanced or broken depends on the person you are talking to. The words in this type of context is purely relative not absolute.

  8. @Tangent-Valley @NightBlitz And nerf doesn’t make it harder on players in the long run when they make the frames and weapons effectively weaker? I don’t necessarily disagree with nerfs if they are justified. Their is no justification with DE selection of nerfs in the past few months. If DE wants to encourage people to use more of variety of abilities and weapons then you buff those specific things, make people want to use them. Nerfing everything into the ground, effectively limiting our option of playstyles isn’t the answer. All DE is doing is forcing specific playstyles on players in the community. One of the reason that people rely on meta so much, is that those weapons and abilities are the only things that are effective. A very large selection of weapons and abilities are complete garbage compared to the meta stuff. All these nerfs do is make the game less enjoyable and forces players to choose from a limiting selection of weapons and abilities. The best argument for these nerfs I here from people, is that relying on the meta stuff breaks the game. How does the specific weapons and abilities “break” the game? What does exactly does that even mean? I keep asking this and no one can explain it to me. It is kind of ironic when they say this because these nerfs literally break the game. Saryns spores don’t even function properly now outside certain maps and tilesets. When they nerfed melee weapons, so they can’t go through walls, apparently the game can’t even tell now what a wall is and what isn’t a wall. People have been having an issue where  if you strike one enemy with a melee, then strike an enemy behind the one that you killed. Your melee weapon will actually get blocked by that second enemy. This is ridiculous, now we have to wait a few days or weeks for DE to work out all these problems and even then DE will probably leave a lot these problems unattended to. DE will also focus more on these issues them working on actual new content, leaving them on the back burner. Where is there any justification for this? You guys have made no constructive arguments to refute any of this.

  9. @Tangent-Valleysure whatever bro, if you have to result to accusations obviously than you have nothing to really say anyways. The one being childish here is the person to butthurt that anyone would ever question your precious DE to actually make any constructive arguments. You literally spent more time here accosting me then you actually been having civil discourse. I done entertaining a child who only response is to these sort of topics is to go on the defensive, yet somehow I’m the one that is toxic. Go take your bile to someone else’s posts! Good day man. 😜

  10. @rune_me Sorry man I wasn’t paying attention, I thought you were that tangent guy, who was kind of irritating me with some his absurd arguments. I think I looked at his name then confused it with your post. I was doing something else at the time, so I wasn’t really looking at things right. I apologize for my response, as you just recently jumped into the conversation, so it was unwarranted. Hope all is forgiven. 😊

  11. @rune_meYou literally just accused everyone who is having significant issues with Saryn spores as being at fault, as supposed to holding DE accountable for screwing her up. Are you so bent on defending DE that your willing to accuse others for being incompetent, when it is DE fault for releasing her rework without properly testing it themselves.

  12. @rune_me Apparently  you didn’t read my entire post, as you only commented on those 2 lines. Neither are you paying  attention to the feedback that people are posting in regards to the spores. The spores are only working well in certain tile sets, a lot the time they are only working in onslaught and survival missions. Your own personal experience isnt enough to go on. I’ve been going through all the feedback people are making. Again maybe those nerfs are fun for you but you are not everyone. People shouldn’t have to be forced out of their own playstyle just because some people have a problem with it. If DE wants to provide players with more of a challenge, rework the enemies, don’t nerf the frames or weapons. If DE wants to encourage people to use other abilities, then buff those specific abilities, don’t nerf the ones that people enjoy using. It is lazy and counter productive approach that quite frankly doesn’t even make sense.

  13. The old textures and effects I get. The Saryn spore turret I could live without, as long as the  spores themselves are actually still a decent ability. Righy now a lot people are having problems with it. The melee weapons hitting through walls and taking out lots enemies isn’t a problem, especially when we are talking about a horde mode, where 100s of enemies are coming at you from multiple directions. I don’t see how nerfing combo counters and melee makes the game more fun? How do nerfs in general make anything fun? If the issue is that we are to powerful and the enemies are to weak then, it is an issue of reworking the enemies, not the frames and weapons. The kind of changes DE is making kind of disregards the type of game we are actually playing. AOE attacks, CC frames, DPS these are apart of what makes Warframe enjoyable. A lot of these are problems depending on who you are talking to. Everyone plays the game differently but all these changes do is force those people who enjoy those play styles into a corner. Removing elements of the game limiting a persons choice of play styles is counter productive and lazy. One of the reasons a lot players depend on these type of playstyles is other options are just not as effective.

    .............................Ye....Yeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaah........sure......

Go ahead and take that comment to the DE bank.....and wonder why they don't respond to you.....

("Ugh, not another one of these. Did they read the reasons why we're making the changes?" "Of course not. They're entitled and want everything to stay exactly the same, despite the numerous problems it creates in the game, player experience, and system. Just...just ignore them. One day they might understand...")

Was that supposed to be a quote free DE or something made up? Either way, I honesty don’t really care who stated it. Though if that is from DE somehow, quick question DE? Can you vaguely explain your reasons for these changes, while obscuring your rhetoric with details that are not fully explained leaving more people confused. That really helps people understand your motives. Oh wait what were your motives again, I didn’t quite understand with your obscure devworkshop builds. Thanks 👍

  15. @Tangent-Valley I like how blatantly ignored the rest of what I said? The game doesn’t stay the same when it is constantly getting new content. I have never seen game company changing so much of the gameplay while putting aside actaul new content. Where is the priorities there? Why fix something that isn’t broken? You say the way the game is now is causing “problems” but I don’t hear any examples. The way things have been is the reason the game has been around for a little over 5 years now. I don’t see any problems, aside from a lack of newer content, instead we are getting reworks out the butthole. Where is that new content DE you been talking about? Oh your giving us reworks that we didn’t really ask for? What about the Sacrifice? What about the new Venus open world? Na instead we are getting a Saryn nerf and some graphic and texture overhaul with GPU particles. Exciting! Nevermind the content drought then, I get to look at a little prettier version Warframe. Oh that Saryn nerf now that is something, I can’t wait to use her spores that barely function properly. Great job DE! Ty for improving our game experience. 👍

  16. @-.SP.-G43riel @Tangent-ValleyHow often does DE actually consider people suggestions? Practically never because their opinions come first. My problem with DE isn’t that I feel like stuff needs fixing that they don’t fix. My problem is that they “fix” stuff that don’t need fixing. Saryn, damage 2.0, melee 3.0, ember, etc. they are perfect the way that they are. If DE wasn’t so damn fixated on reworks and nerfs to older content, we probably would have seen earlier releases for Khora and the sacrifice. DE prioritizes content very poorly, and it hurts their game more than it does help it. Why can’t DE just leave the old stuff alone and focus on creating newer content? I have never seen a game company so bent on changing old content to the point that newer stuff is put on the back burner. New stuff isn’t going to matter that much if the old content that people enjoyed to begin with is nerfed into the ground.
