  1. I feel your pain. I've been in contact with support and it feels like I'm going in circles. I appreciate that the support team may not know what the problem is or how to fix it, but it would be nice to hear from someone that does or can at least shed some light on it.

  2. I'm getting the exact same issue, Zabiken. Tried all sorts of things to no avail. Glad I'm not the only one having this which means it'll hopefully get looked at.

I contacted support and so far the suggestions have been as follows:

You are getting an interesting crash. Please open up the launcher and click the little gear in the upper right corner. In the upper right of the settings menu click the Verify button in the Download Cache section and let it run to completion. Also, run an Optimize once the Verify has finished as well.

If that does not work, turn off 64Bit-mode in the launcher settings menu as well. The 32bit client may be able to load fresh files and bypass the problem.

And after replying to say those didn't work, I recieved:

You are getting some odd launcher errors. It may be a firewall blocking files, network malfunctioning, DNS and/or ISP issues. Try the following to troubleshoot and perhaps fix the problem:

    • You may want to reboot your computer, modem and router (leave the router and modem off for a good 30 seconds).
    • Check if your router does not have its firewall active, if so, turn it off or check if you can add exceptions to *.warframe.com and check if there isn't any file Warframe may use being blocked there.
    • Add an exception in your firewall (including Windows Firewall if active) and antivirus to theLauncher.exeWarframe.x64.exe and Warframe.exe.
    • Go to http://www.whatismyip.com to see if there is an active proxy in your system, if there is, go to the Windows control panel and search for Internet options.
    • On the Connections tab - LAN settings, make sure that use automatic configuration script and proxy server are Unchecked.
    • Also make sure to stop any software that will change your connection automatically, such as VPN/Proxy software like Spotflux and even in-browser add-ons such as Hola Unblocker.

While those didn't work for me, it may help someone else. Good luck!

  3. Yes, but it gets to the same point and does what it does in the .gif. I tried downloading it on another computer and got the play button to appear, so its unlikely to be a connection issue.

  4. Got the same problem here. Contacted support and so far the only suggestions have been to try in 32bit if you're currently using the 64bit launcher. Will post more if/when I hear back.
