  1. I understand, but I wish I could migrate now back to pc because I don't want to start from scratch knowing that I have all of my good stuff on my xbox account. -sigh- I would pay money to migrate though.

  2. So it's not so much an idea but more of a question. At what point, would players be allowed to migrate their accounts? Or if this idea is already in the works, when can we expect news or even the upcoming date for it when it comes out. I'd even be willing to pay money to migrate my account, of course that is just me.

Does anyone second this, or perhaps third this? I don't know put other people's input would be nice.

  3. I would say I'm surprised but I'm not. I did not state anywhere in my main post that I hated players who play ember. Not only that, I was the one who got insulted by said ember player. If people could only read. Also who ever said Nidus was a one button frame, you are sadly mistaken. He is considered a chain frame if anything. You pop his 2, use his 1, once you get some stacks, you pop his 3, then 2, then 1 if it things get dicey you pop his 4.

Of course, I could have posted this with any other frame that has an area of effect ability but no, I posted about ember due to the fact of the insult that came with it from the ember player. Even now, I just explain how his abilities work together. If no else can understand that and you want to continue the whole bashing fest of "this guy is just an ember hater" go ahead. I have said my piece and will leave it at that. If people can't look past that, it just means that the community is just going to become very toxic in the future :awkward:

  4. It feels like a lot of people have forgotten how Nidus (God Tier Frame) works. I have been in a few mission with frames that room wipe -cough ember/ember prime -cough- but manage decently as long as I can keep my distance from them which is sometimes annoying because people will follow you on survival missions for some reason thinking you won't be able to handle it. e_e Any who more on to the point.

So I was doing a bounty on the plains for the current event and of course because it's a one button frame, an ember prime joins. At first things were okay and I managed to get a few stacks. However when it came down to wipe out the infection part, I was lacking on stacks but never went and forcefully went through until we beat it. I then got a message saying that my frame was weak and I should uninstall. Really? My frame is weak?

So I tried to explain to the other player that Nidus works by getting stacks, of course, he didn't care called me a noob or something else childish and stopped responding or blocked me, In the end, please PLEASE, when you other embers feel like activating your one button ability, check to make sure that you are not near a Nidus frame who is building stacks. If you take away Nidus' way to make stacks AKA the enemies, then he doesn't get more power and in essence it's because your range or that you are following them, is ruining said stack building. Nidus works with stacks. No stacks, means no power, which means that you're not letting him help out.

Any time a ember, prime or not, is in a session with me, it becomes a struggle for stacks. That is not cool. SO once again, Nidus needs stacks and don't take them. Glad I could clear that up.

  5. Ah, I never thought of that kind of thing for his first ability, but of course I feel like it would be a tad bit overpowered just for a first ability. I might take that idea though and use it towards an idea for a mod specifically towards that direction. As for the text, I am currently using the dark background setting, if you feel like switching it may make it easier to see and read.

  6. So because it has been "archived", nobody would have been able to make comments or input for possible changes/suggestions. So I decided to kind of revive my concept idea because of the release of PoA expansion. I have also added some tweaks to some abilities as well.

    Seimei. The Wise, The Spiritual.

    Appearance

    N/A (Looking for artist)

    Name

Seimei's name comes from the famous Onmyoji, Abe no Seimei. More so in today's society, an Onmyoji is seen more or less as an exorcist of sorts and has been shown to have magical or spiritual abilities with in anime or other games. At different times, Abe no Seimei as been depicted as a male or female through most media now a days but is in fact male through Japanese historical means. Legends say he was not born normal for his father was human and his mother was a kitsune. At the age of 5, he was able to command weak oni to do his bidding. He was also known in his later years to take part is "magical" battles and games of wit, along with being quite the fortune teller.

    Stats

    Health: 100 (215)

    Shields: 200 (400)

    Armor: 110

    Energy: 100 (325)

    Speed: 1.65

    Abilities:

Passive - Seimei is capable of generating up to 10% overshield and it's increased to 25% when near allies. (May change this later as this is just a placeholder for now)

1st Ability = Explosive Talismans |25 Energy| Utilizing talismans imbued with mystical energies, Seimei will throw out 2/4/6/8 talismans that will seek out enemies. Activating the ability again with cause the enemies stuck with talismans to explode dealing 200/245/310/360 explosive damage along with suffering knockdown. Enemies near those whom exploded will receive reduced explosive damage and have a 50% chance to suffer knockdown. Should the ability be used on enemies that are not on alert, kills will be consider stealth kills as they will not be noticed once stuck.

2nd Ability = Shiki Protection |50 Energy| Conjuring up a paper familiar, it will act as a stationary turret where ever the reticle is aimed that will deal 100/150/200/250 base damage, and proc enemies to target the decoy if closer to it, This also will grant Seimei an Armor buff by 20/45/75/100 that will last for 3/5/7/9 seconds. Should the familiar be killed Seimei will gain a damage buff of 50% of the Armor buff. The damage buff will only apply to the next offensive ability on activation and is not stackable. (For a better explanation, the damage buff does not have a timer and is somewhat like Mesa's first ability in terms of the second activation of it which applies the extra damage to her next shot.)

3rd Ability = Pentagram of Wu Xing |75 Energy| Using one hand, Seimei draws a large glowing pentagram in the air in front of him and pushes it forward where it will travel 12/22/32/42 meters before disappearing. The pentagram deals 170/240/310/390 slash damage to enemies that it passes through along with having a 10/15/20/25% chance to proc Heat, Cold, Electricity, and Toxin status to the enemies. Note that enemies can still shoot through the pentagram and deal damage to Seimei and allies.

4th Ability = Seal of Banishment |25 Energy per Second| Seimei takes a stance and quickly performs the handsigns of Rin, Pyo, Tou, Sha, Kai, Jin, Retsu, Zai, Zen. With the final handsign, a encircled pentagram with appear wherever the reticle is aimed and change into a spatial void that draws enemies from 10/13/18/22 meters into the void while dealing 139/172/245/300 base damage inside and while being pulled in. Energy per second is 25/17/13/10. Seimei will release his stance once out of energy or if the ability is toggled again, if enemies are still alive when the ability ends, they will be popped up into the air, out of the void before it disappears, and in ragdoll but no additional damage will occur when they hit the ground (Enemies can still be hurt by teammates though when airborne and ragdolled). While using this ability, Seimei is not invincible and takes 2% more damage.

Whether or not I make this a quest acquisition, I have not decided. I want to but I wouldn't know where to start other than something with the Orokin. Input would be great and if you like that then cool. I have also had an idea or two about some weapons, but I like to get a clear cut kind of idea before I post something.

  7. It's pretty much what the title says. We have a few things but recently it doesn't seem like too much more thought is being put into them either. More voices would nice, more hair styles, more of pretty much everything with the operators would just be nice. Not only that but have some options with these customizations to flip them. For example, the eye patch for my operator, I like it a lot but I would like to be able to flip it, so that it could be over my left eye instead of my right. That is kind of what I mean by the whole flip of customizations thing.

Now I know this isn't all that big of an explanation on this but that is also because the title really does say it all. DE gave us a quest to further promote the use of our operators but the customizations for them really dropped off.

  8. I guess I should have clarified which materials. Would say like the most common of materials. As for rare materials, they're rare so there wouldn't be too much of a point in selling them because more often than not they're used for things. Currently, Plat is used for just about everything on the market. For Primed Mods, I don't see how their value would decrease in Plat, if people had more credits.

Not only that, but if you mean the tax on the prime mods, then no offense when I say that their tax is a little outrageous but that's for another topic for another time. To touch up a little more on common materials, any thing that is considered uncommon would also be off the list in terms of being sold. When it comes to the "credit arenas", they aren't that great and I hardly see any activity on them other than maybe, if I'm lucky to see it, 1 group on those. Not going to lie, but most people probably only ran it for the quest because the arena is just eh. That is at least my view point on it.

Another thing with sellable materials would something like the Limbo Theorums. I know they are already sellable, but they're sellable for such a low price that it isn't even worth it. There are some other items that can be added to the list it just needs to be compiled, so I will try to get on that.

  9. I'm not looking for credits for myself, it's just many players have an over-abundance of materials that they could make everything in the game right now, maybe even twice over and still have that massive amount of materials. I'm just saying they should make this a viable kind of option. I know where to "grind" for credits, it's just that, do I really need 2 or 3 million amount of salvage for anything? No, because there is nothing in the game that takes that.

  10. I have a lot and I mean a LOT of materials and some of them are leftovers of things, like pigment fragments and what not. Now why can't I sell these for credits to make a bit of a profit back? I mean, they're just sitting there in your inventory doing nothing. Once you don't need any more of certain materials and have extra, don't you wish you could just get rid of them? I don't even care if I'm allowed to just delete them but, to me, it feels like their just taking up unneeded space. Granted with certain parts of our inventories, we have practically infinite space but still.

In all honesty, I'm just tired of looking at them at times. It would be nice to get rid of things we no longer need for some credits. Doesn't even have to be a lot of credits but it would be nice. Not to mention but major materials for practically EVERYTHING we build would also be nice to sell as well. I'm running onto almost 2 million in, I think, salvage and there isn't too many things that I need to build that includes salvage. In general really, it would be nice to sell materials. It would also help if someone has and over-abundance of materials and is lacking a bit on credits. So that is an idea and feed back.

Other people can now discuss and add other things in. I know this topic has more than like been put up before in the past, but I think we should all try to get this going. I know a few people would be happier with this implemented, myself being one as well.

  11. In the beginning of this quest like the first mission, it gave warframe a creepy atmosphere, along with the whole "rap tap tap" thing going on as well. I started to really get into the quest until it became and run and gun quest, I'm also presuming that the whole "capture" the entities thing came from ghost busters?

Any who, I continued through the story, it was more run and gun and it was kind of killing my vibe on the quest. I get that the people of DE wanted it to be more of a scary kind of quest but when they switched the style not even half way in, the quest became....predictably boring. The idea for blood on the walls, phantoms, and judging by the way they walked, zombie phantoms, was all good and cool but seeing as you could cut through them like butter, it later became eh. Don't get me wrong, the idea of having an actual scary aspect side to Warframe would be awesome, but it would need to be better executed.

Now onto the boss battle. I have to ask, what was DE thinking? The boss battle wasn't fun. It was beyond annoying. Yeah the mission doesn't fail if you die, but I think I died maybe around 15 or 16 different times. I didn't really keep count and I'm only guessing. However, making a boss battle around the idea of using Operator mode where the whole system of using said operator whom would probably be the squishiest thing in the whole game, is not a good choice. Getting one-shotted by the Dark Sword/twin Sword user, was horribly annoying. Not to mention having no defenses at all from the red orbs. The pillars provided for "cover" you can't even stay behind for safety longer than half a second because the melee users would come to bum rush you. Also giving the Dark Sword/twin Sword user ranged abilities as just as bad as the choice of making the operator fight the boss. A ranged slicing attack and a ground attack that follows you, really? It was bad enough I have to use the operator for this fight, I felt like I was having bad flash backs of that whole pit of bones with the orokin snake thing. Also, what was the point of the expression cards during the fight? Was there even a point at all? -sigh-

I finished the quest though and with that horrible boss battle out of the way, I get a blueprint for Harrow. A blueprint? Really? For making me have to go through a quest, which started really well, only to become boring gameplay and at the very end, almost making me horribly annoyed, I get 1 blueprint. This kind of thing instantly told me I was going to have to grind for the rest of the pieces, to which I said to myself, I don't think so. I'm tired of grinding in this game, plus I don't have time to do so anymore. I'm not going to buy Harrow either, I already felt like I just got kicked in the groin for playing the quest and so I don't want to feel like I'm congratulating DE by buying the frame.

This is my review to the quest and I'm sticking with it. Oh and if DE wants to do another scary kind of quest, I would suggest asking the community for input.

  12. To the people who are peeking out of the mother's basements and trying to make an attempt to troll, stop being apart of the garbage generation and either discuss or get out. That simple

To everyone who has given their opinions on this topic, thanks. I will heavily admit to being extremely angry but to be fair, there is a point in time with just about every game out there that people will become infuriated with. This was mine and it decide to hit all my buttons at once. To stay on top and to elaborate a bit, let's talk about the grinding.

It is double or maybe triple the original grind in the order of such: Grind for Relic, use a lot of not needed relics to grind for traces, open relics but don't receive the item you want/need, back to grinding for more relics, etc.

So it's something like that, if I had a cycle graph or something I put it up. Do I want the items to be given to me, no. I want to earn them. I don't however, want the work to earning said items to just end up being a horrible mess of endless grinding where by the end of it, I'm just sick of playing the game. As for people talking about the amount of time with the grinding, not everyone can just play this game everyday for like 12 hours straight, looking at you wannabe trolls. People got lives to deal with too. Like I said in the first post, I spent a lot of money on this game. I literally cannot afford to do so anymore, I don't have the extra cash to.

    11 hours ago, LSG501 said:

Heaven forbid they could lower the prices of plat and prime access so more people could buy* them.... because everyone I've spoken too seems to think plat is too expensive and only buys on 75% discount and prime access prices are just stupidly high.

Now I completely agree with part of this LSG501. The price of plat isn't so much expensive, but I just don't think people are getting much plat for the amount they're buying. As for the Prime Access, 100% agree with that. One warframe with 2 weapons and bonus accessories of some kind and 2 boosters, does not and should not cost the price of a brand new game or a brand new game's special edition, the 79.99 version. In essence, it would be like buying new characters for a fighting game and paying even more to have all the costumes and moveset. Yeah there are some people who have that kind of money that they can just toss around without a care, but now a days, most people don't have that kind of cash.

I got a bit off track, but in terms of the rock system (I'm still going to call them that), the grind is far worse than before. I'm not saying we didn't have to grind for the T4 keys, but it didn't take as much time as the new system does. Others will disagree/agree with that, but that all comes down to how people had RNG in the past. Some people had it good, others not so good. I had a bit of both at times. With the rock system, the RNG I get with it always seems bad and unfruitful. They say 10% but it honestly doesn't seem like it to me.

  13. I'm done being nice about this. The RNG in this game is absolutely beyond stupid. DE probably kidnapped some poor guy and locked him in a room by himself and told him to come up with an extreme dumb idea for their game as a way to obtain "rare" loot. That one poor guy then came up with the relic system and the RNG on top of RNG piece of garbage we have now. RNG on RNG is not the way to do things. Before when it first came out I was a bit wary but decided to let it have it's shot. Toward the middle of my time playing when the rock system was put in and I was trying obtain prime parts for multiple things, it became very annoying. Not getting pieces of things I would need to complete blueprints when I put in a lot of void snot and rocks, only to still not get what I'm trying for after 20-30 rocks of multiple Neos, Liths, etc. etc. with them being radiants.

Now......oh now this isn't just annoying anymore. No no, this is beyond infuriating and I would be fine going back to keys instead of the amount of BS that comes with these rocks. The keys had somewhat of a predictability to them and the specific key for the specific item the player was trying to get, weren't to hard to get either. They are not relics at this point, they're rocks. The traces might as well be snot too. I understand again but more so with much stronger feelings of pure unbridled rage that I'm pretty sure I'm going to stop playing this game all together like dropping a really bad habit. DE: "Oh well play it with other people or friends to get higher chances of the items you want/need by making sure everyone has the same relic, blah blah blah". Sorry to burst your bubble but that doesn't do anything. Your chances don't increase at all and if it does, it's probably by like 0.01% higher which still amounts to nothing. Now as I type this, there will probably be other players who will respond to this in some kind of manner trying to give me advice. Sorry, but you can shove your advice.

I really REALLY hope someone important from DE sees this and realizes that the rock system along with the RNG on RNG was a horrible idea in the first place. All this was brought on by me trying to get Rhino, Banshee, and 2 weapons where out of some many of those stupid rocks that I wasted for nothing but junk, out of all of them, I got 1 piece for Banshee and that was her systems or maybe it was her chassis and that's it. The amount of grind time into this game is not worth it. It's not worth my time, it's not worth my entertainment value, hell at this point it's not even worth the amount of money I put into this game anymore and I put a ridiculous amount of money into this game. Now then, I'm going to go and play a simple game that I can relax to and play music with and that is called Beat Hazard. If someone from DE sees this and decides that it's time to make a change, then it's about dang time. If not or no one at DE thinks they need to change the way the prime item system is, then they must be heading down that path of become a gaming company that doesn't care anymore, other than making a buck. If that is the case, then I can at least look forward to an ACTUAL good game and that's Monster Hunter. It's never disappointed me and just never will.

(P.S. The overbearing amount of control I had to have over myself for not trying make this into a cluster of nothing but F-Bombs was unnecessary but I managed, so get to fixing the game DE.)

    EDIT:

To the people who are peeking out of the mother's basements and trying to make an attempt to troll, stop being apart of the garbage generation and either discuss or don't post anything. That simple.

To everyone who has given their opinions on this topic, thanks. I will heavily admit to being extremely angry but to be fair, there is a point in time with just about every game out there that people will become infuriated with. This was mine and it decide to hit all my buttons at once.

  14. In all honestly, be it on pc or console, most players can agree that the grinding is what is killing the gam, let alone the gaming industry. A lot of games now a days cause a player to grind and unless you're a person who loves to grind for months on end, it just becomes boring and you end up not playing as much or even just not playing all together. I got about 8 different games with Warframe included in that selection of where all I can do left in the game until new content or that is was is left of the game, is grind. Two of those games, I haven't touched since January.

One of the games is an on again-off again kind of thing just because I give some months to pass for new content (PSO2 to those whom are curious). Another game but I hardly notice the grind because it's fun is Dead by Daylight (Killer FTW). That leaves 4 games left that I'm about to stop playing because the grind of those games is a snore-fest. Like Spriggan said, the only thing Warframe is good for at this point for me is the login reward.

  15. Let me start by saying a few things. Now I love this game, I really do. I have put quite a bit of money in this game and it makes me feel obligated to play it as well. Almost everything about this game is cool, almost everything. On to the actual reasons of why I think Warframe needs to change a few things to get me playing it more often again.

First off, lets talk about prime parts and their relic counter parts. This idea for these two things may have seemed like a good idea at first but now, it feels like someone smiling at you while stabbing you with a dagger and twisting it each time. RNG+More RNG isn't fun and is super annoying. I once had 15 of a relic just trying to get I think it was Vauban Prime's blueprint. None of those 15, full upgraded relics dropped that blueprint and I ended up buying it off of someone who had an extra through trading. The old way of getting prime stuff was also RNG on RNG but had more of a lenient feel to it and wasn't horrible or unfair in a sense. So the whole relic system I think needs to be changed or tweaked in someway to make it somewhat like the previous way before it.

On to the second reason, grind. Oh dear god, mother in heaven, the grinding on this game. Grinding on Warframe has become bad, really, REALLY, bad. If I want to get relics, grinding on a mission on whatever planet for a few hours, or to try and take a break from that planet and grind on another planet but not for relics but to just level up and gain my next master rank. End game in this game until new content is released is grinding and raids, I guess. When a new mission for a frame or story content comes out, I get excited because I don't have to grind.....unless at some part of the mission for the frame or story comes around and it makes you grind for whatever it is that it wants you to grind for. The grinding has to stop and it's kind of a major reason for me not playing anymore as much. I mean come on, most games have a bit of grinding of some kind but it's a bit ridiculous at this point.

Third reason, the selling chat tab. It's gets flooded so hard that half the time, I don't think many people even see their own posts. A auction house would be able to resolve that. Make it have options to buy or sell things there. Heck put it in Maroo's relay. I can go for weeks and a month or two, trying to sell a set of something or some mods and it literally feels like it takes forever. The chat at this point is a spam fest and needs a clean kind of solution.

Fourth reason, the actual game market. In the past before a few updates ago, I would save some platinum for when I get a discount coupon from login and would use it on the boosters. I can no longer do that, and it's kind of a shame. A lot of different items or things cannot be used with a discount coupon anymore. I mean I get it, the Devs want us to spend money to make money, but shouldn't we be given a bit break too? We get a discount coupon we should be allowed to use it on just about everything. As for the tennogen, it's fine the way it is. That is money for the people who created those awesome works of art and money for the Devs. Just don't get me started on the prime access, that is just....ridiculousness.

I think that covers it for now, if I need to add something I will but yeah....I actually think this covers it. I believe these are all valid points and if anyone else would like to throw their two cents in, go ahead. Lets try to get this noticed by the Devs.
