  1. Are you referring to the Prisma Grakata specifically, or just the normal Grakata? Because that got an audio change a while back as well...

Specifically the Prisma Grakata. Which is why I said "Prisma Grakata." -.-

  2. Tornado is not just a Good CC move but a versatile one

i was thinking that Cross-hairs on weapons lock on the tornado and drag and move it

it can gather any enemy it crosses

you can lock on and move the tornado it from long distances and heights

and a possibility of moving the 4 tornadoes in to 1 big one

I can't imagine how much trolling there'd be with people constantly moving tornadoes ontop of you or infront of your view.

  3. Let's start with me saying I love this ability. Tossing enemies about? Hilarious! The damage isn't anything to write home about, but the disruption is top notch. As for my request...

If you play Zephyr for awhile you eventually learn that your tornadoes will change their damage type if they're hit by a different type. This is great, and I love having the option to do that. Sadly if you run funnel clouds without an AoE weapon you know the pain of trying to change all those adorable storms' element. With the advent of Chroma an interesting option is available now!

Energy color could determine her Tornado's element. This would make it easier to get the damage type you like, ensure allies and enemies don't change the damage type, and finally let my Tornadoes reflect the energy color I chose for my frame.

Just a suggestion, but it would be hella awesome if it happened.

That would actually make the augment worthwhile. Although I can't imagine poison being of any help since its damage is pretty minimal. I mean at-least with chroma you gain extra stamina off of something like that.

  4. Okay, so to begin with, I'm not sure if this was even the right place to post this.

Seeing as nobody uses sleight of hand due to the fact that you literally destroy all that much needed supplies for a very minimal amount of damage and CC, I thought maybe it could get reworked into something a little more reliable, but still using the same concept.

What if mirage was able to lift all those drops up into a sphere in front of her, and then send it forward, doing AOE damage, with the element being based on the much more dominant amount of items she picked up? For example, if she picks up more energy orbs then ammo drops, the sphere (More like bomb in this case) explodes on the surface it touches, doing electricity damage. Any extras that were sucked into the sphere would just add on to the damage done.

It would deal pretty decent area of effect damage depending on how much you picked up, and it gives her a nice bit of CC to aid her survivability and her team.

Or instead of lobbing it like a bomb, she'll push the sphere forward, shooting out those pick-ups like a shot-gun. They just all have a 100% proc chance.

I know you could also just press 4 for the disco ball of fun, but this is on a ability that also doesn't require energy to use over time.

Well, I just thought it'd make this ability a little more useful, as even the augment available for it doesn't really help it much at all.

    Thoughts? :3

  5. I am getting the bug in T1D while running around and killing things with my Mirage.

    AUnGWBd.jpg

Yea, it's about the only reason I won't use the Atomos anymore. It gets SUPER annoying.

  6. His HP bugs out ?, i think the only major nerf is punch through and that is mainly because if you use exalted blade in PVP the punchthrough can let you kill other players while hiding in cover but i would be ok with my other nerfs not making it as i like exalted blade myself.

Unless your playing dark sectors which is an extremely unbalanced version of PvP, you're never really going to find yourself using that enough for real effectiveness. The waves are extremely slow and dodge-able. You can't bring in energy efficiency mods to make it last longer, and the amount of energy you get from PvP energy spawns is really low. Did you forget you use energy just to summon the sword? You'll probably get just a few waves off before it goes away, which isn't much at all. I find it funny though that people are screaming for excalibro nerfs yet don't say much about other warframe abilities. Valkyr is invincible on her ultimate. INVINCIBLE. Saryn, ash, nova, even Mesa, they are all spam 4 to win with huge amounts of AOE. Excalibur shoots a few waves of energy, that all just fly in a narrow straight line might I add so you aren't covering alot of area with it, that just give exal that extra bit of power he needs to be able to keep up with other warframes. He's a master of gun and blade. He uses his weapons and powers in combination for a fast paced, well balanced, and decently powerful gameplay. Imean, I could very well just play frost, bring up the snow-dome, and get the same affect by just shooting enemies outside of it using a punchthrough mod on a gun. Only difference is that now he's practically invincible to damage from ALL sides. Or why don't I just play nova and use her neural star to just blow up everything? Seriously, excalibur needed these buffs to keep up with other frames. He was a laughing stock with super jump, a weak tool of mobility and damage, and a pitiful ultimate unless your running draco. Now his slashdash does reliable damage, knocks enemies over, can be used as a great tool for mobility with range mods, does even more damage when using exalted blade, his radial blind is as great as ever. His 4th ability, while still situational, actualy synergizes with exalted blade if augmented for it, and exalted blade gives him an extra bit of defence, and offence, that basically just encourages melee play. You know, that play style that most player frown upon because it is "Unreliable"?

  7. As far as balance goes, yes Excalibur is or was the balance frame. Now with talk of this new eclipse frame I think the DE's might have forgotten how to properly balance the Tennos. However his Exalted Blade Mode seems more like him entering a state of Inner Energy control allowing him to unleash unbelievable power unto his enemies. Although he cannot superjump while like this he can use Radial Blind infinitely. Why even have Radial Blind then? I just think the rework needs rework. We lost one move and never got anything similar to it. And we get a state of power control that does not let us do things like increased stregnth or jump.

I forget the other things this mode should allow us to do. Srry if anyone remembers just post it

That radial blind radius is extremely small. It requires you to launch yourself into a group of enemies to make itself effective. The regular radial blind not only hits a huge area, but enables executions on enemies should you wish to kill them with that, instead of your energy blade. Which also makes it handy for life strike, since you don't want a single channled energy wave to suck your energy down in seconds.

  8. To me it's hard to say.

Each have their advantages and disadvantages, but on the whole I think it comes down to their attitude.

The Grineer are much more war-minded. They are a machine, hell they are almost literally machines. Flash-cloned, angry, space zombies with loyalty programmed in and armor built on top. Can the Corpus mindset compare with the sheer singleminded lust for war and conquest that the Grineer have? Can the self-serving Corpus Board truly compete with a group of zealots so powerfully indoctrinated that they allow themselves to be killed to create more clones?

I suppose their's that. But technology does play a pretty important role, and the corpus seem to wield some pretty powerful stuff. Even making robots from orokin tech.

  9. Excal is an extremely well balanced Frame. He's not extremely good at one thing, but is great at everything.

Even if his slash dash didn't have killing potential, it has a huge mobility boost now, especially given that you can combine it with range mods instead of duration. Radial blind is good as it's always been. An instant source of stun/melee damage booster. Radial javelin makes a decent aoe nuke and form of CC since it has godly range. And exalted blade, of coarse makes everything just about twice as good as before. Especially given that it's a powerful AOE killer if modded for propperly. (I say everything because if you actually use the augment for radial javelin, you can boost your own damage with exalted blade.) He has huge armor to compliment the fact that he's a melee focused frame, and exalted blade makes it so that he auto parries most shots in front of him making him pretty damn hard to kill. His base stats (health, shields, power) Are not to low, nor to high.

So even if he doesn't just "One shot all the things near instantly" like ash, and saryn, he's a frame that can roll into any mission, and use ALL of his abilities for his and even his teams benefit. His high armor and abilities encourages melee play even more, since most players tend to think melee is useless in this game.

He has to be THE most balanced frame this game has to offer.

  10. I once brought a Prisma skana with the augment from new loka into a game with 3 team mates. I said "This mod can possibly make it a top tier weapon" They all flamed at me, said that tipedo will never be topped, then ignored me and continued to play void missions without me. And yet here I am, maining excalibur now, using that weapon with that mod, because of the bonus you get while using exalted blade. I can heal myself easily, and cause an AOE corrosive proc, perfect for the void.

  11. I don't think Volt needs a total rework, just a buff/rework of overload would do wonders for him.

Overload is such a horrible ability to use. Even with the augment.

Shock is okay for what it does. Just a quick stun, doesn't even interrupt reloading.

Now I know people are gonna flame on me for this, but I don't like the idea that his 2nd ability is a speed boost.

For starters, an attack speed buff isn't really great on volt himself, as going melee with him, even his prime variant, will damn near get him killed. Imean, maybe if it buffed reload speed or How quickly weapons can be fired or something, it would be more use able for more then just capture missions or rushing to save your team mate. Or just make the augment for that ability, actually apart of the ability. Or just remove that ability all together and make it sort of a retribution type of ability. As in a buff for everyone on that team, being melee struck by units will shock them guaranteed, and everyone will receive a flat shield boost. Like 30/60/90/120 (Affected by power strength of coarse)

  12. Yes I'm from almost the very start of warframe and I totally agree with how the old closed beta was and I'd love for it to be like that 100% but my fear is greedypull makes Mag for one more useful but also the chance to abuse I use greedpull to still run around and kill like the old times but using pull to get the loot I might miss. I fear that greedy pull will be nerfed so hard that it will be a useless augment D:

Closed beta days. Those were the the best freaking days of this game <3 Idk about anyone else, that's just my opinion. lol

  13. I'm just curious as to who people would think really wins in this war of theirs?

(This does not include bosses, ship defences, eximus units, terrain, etc. Just basic units vs basic units.)

I mean, the corpus have plasma heated weaponry, aimed to melt just about anything. It sounds great untill you notice almost all of their weapons are only best used at close range. But they also have an army of robotics to back them up, via shields, sucking up items, suicide bombing, bum rushing, dropping land mines, etc, and the dreaded Riot moas, with enough firepower and shielding to wipe out armies alone. I suppose their's also the wanna-be jackals (The ones from the orokin sabotage mission, I'm not including the boss's of the game. Oh and the very much hated nullifiers.

But most of the grineer standard weaponry shoots literally twice as fast, but of coarse these are just normal bullets, vs plasma heated rounds. They also have all that armor to protect them, with some form of robots (The rollers) and lots of explosive firepower, not to mention they have powerful melee units, flame throwers, and buzz-saw snipers. Some of the grineer even have the ability to teleport, and switch teleport. They have a unit that can even steal your weapons, and summon Drahks onto the field.

I personally think the grineer have the upper hand because of their diverse arsenal. And while corpus weapons excel at close range, giving them an edge over most of their melee units, the fact that their melee can teleport might just take most corpus by surprise. But with nullifiers on the field, most of the grineer units might be forced just to enter close range  unless they expend all their ammo just taking the shields down. I have no idea who'd win but it's just my opinion. :3

  14. Some reason, I think it being update 16.10 indicates something went wrong or something wasn't finished for U17. I mean its understandable since it fixes some issues that need tending.

Alot of things have gone wrong over the past few updates. lol Excals rework has been bugged out ever since release, and with each patch, they swear on their lives they fixed it, but it's still pretty buggy at the moment. All I want them to do now is to just make the dang exalted blade energy waves skill work with both base damage mods, and elemental mods. It only works with elementals at the moment. :l
