  1. Did the SP version of this mission from the sanctum anatomica, was host as I loaded in solo initially, got a dante bp on screen but as far as I can tell I didn't even get a weapon part, or different dante part, I just didn't receive any reward at all?

  2. While buffs are always nice, these are... very minuscule. Increasing Standing for the final stage, especially in Steel Path, would be really nice. Additionally, at least one Steel Essence per run should be added, or else the Standing gains from SP should be bumped up a fair bit further if no Steel Essence will be rewarded.

  3. Congratulations! You completely destroyed railjack. Removing the ability to always start on your own ship, AI teammates that will literally just walk in circles, liches that refuse to fight the enemy, forcing non-railjack gameplay into railjack seemingly without being able to earn plexus affinity... and my god the myriad bugs that we thought would finally have been dealt with like infinite loading are all back and somehow even worse.

    And to top it all off, corpus crewships that make it impossible to solo-artillery them! I want to know who was behind this god awful decision and why they hate solo players so much. What an insulting update to drop for the few people who actually enjoyed railjack.

  4. I, too, wish every gun in this game felt awful to use and literally punished me for making, leveling, and investing into it.

    If you want a game that screws over the community, go play Luke Smith's Destiny 2. Otherwise, keep your awful balance opinions to yourself. 🤢

  5. Requiem Relics:

    The Bad: Requiem Relics need to be removed. Period. I've just gotten finished with something like 5 Requiem Radshares now, and not a single one had Requiem Mod drop. Selling these mods and relic packs is abhorrently greedy, and goes against all the goodwill DE has been trying to build for years now through mainly monetizing cosmetic content.

    The Fix:  Simply let these mods drop from Kuva Siphons and Floods and remove the new Relics entirely. Add the new Exilus Weapon Adapter to the Sortie Drop Pool, and add Riven Fragments as a small, but not insignificant, drop from Kuva Lich Thralls.

    Kuva Liches:

    The Good: Holy smokes, there's so much here. The models are all unique, and an incredible mix of the old grotesqueness we've come to love/hate with grineer, and a new sinister aura that only spooky space blood can bring to the table. The distinct personalities, names, and abilities are all exactly what I, personally, wanted to see from the Kingpin system, and I think DE have absolutely knocked it out of the park on all fronts.


    The Bad: Not only does farming Requiem Mods at current feel absolutely awful, but it's compounded by the fact that we need to burn charges on these mods to ascertain the correct order needed. Making these Requiem Mods an actual nightmare to farm, along with making them consumable, as well as forcing us to burn charges is just sickening. At current, this feels like some of the worst grinding in Warframe, which is hilarious when you consider how abysmally designed Grendel's acquisition is.

    Moreover, it seems that Kuva Lich level is altogether meaningless in terms of rewards. 

    The Fix: Let us continue to farm Murmurs to unlock the required order of Requiem Mods needed to destroy or convert our Liches, and make acquiring Requiem Mods a much better experience as detailed above.

    Give us a incentive to letting our Liches increase in level. Add a Lich level cap, say 10, and as they increase in power, the % bonus to their specific Lich Weapon will increase as well. Letting them reach Max level will also cap out this % bonus at its highest possible, thus giving us a worthwhile reason to fight our now incredibly tough and persistent nemesis.

    Kuva Lich Weapons:

    The Good: I'm always glad to see more, good weapons added to Warframe, and most of these seem like just the upgrade variants these weapons need. I also very much enjoy the redesigns of quite a few of these weapons, and the entirely new ones look fantastic. I would love to see systems like these used in the future for more Variant weapons, but only if fixes detailed below go through.

    The Bad: DE. We need to have a talk. You cannot simply add in RNG Diablo- or Destiny-esque elements into your game haphazardly. It feels awful, poorly thought out, and a cheap way to inflate the grind. There's RNG in what weapon you get, what % bonus it has, and what type of bonus it has. Not being able to influence any of these is just not where the current state of gaming as a whole is. This system is a relic compared to contemporary games.

    The Fix: Partially stated above, but give us meaning and influence over these weapons. Let us power up our Liches to max out the bonus. On top of that, however, let us spend Kuva to reroll the bonus we've gotten on the weapon with re-roll protection. Make it impossible to roll the same stat we've decided we didn't want. It would also be nice to let us upgrade the Kuva Lich Weapon in some fashion if we decided to kill our Lich before it reached max level, but this could easily be ignored provided we're able to hit a % bonus cap, along with the ability to reroll the bonus type.

  6. The sheer fact that y'all think Rhino needs a rework means that you either haven't played him at all, or that your builds are just complete trash garbage. Whew lad.

  7. You're totally on to something! I'm absolutely NEVER bullet-jumping around whilst fighting large packs of enemies. That simply doesn't EVER happen Warframe. So of course, movement abilities IN SPACE would be a total waste of time! 

    ...You are joking, right?

It's almost like the entirety of the Riven system was a poorly thought out hook to keep players grinding at best, or a thinly veiled attempt to milk idiots who would pay thousands of platinum for their "God Roll Rivens" at worst. No matter how you slice it, random rolled stats in Warframe will continue to go against everything the game is built upon, and continue to be nothing but disappoint for almost anyone who interacts with the system.

  9. I had a similar problem with Baruuk when trying to cast an ability while his 4 animation was happening. With only a melee weapon and his exalted equipped, it would lock me from making any sort of attack, roll, and most bizarrely of all, lock me out of being able to pick up any loot or focus orbs.

    ctivating spoilers let me pick up loot normally, but upon unspoilering the bug would remain. /Unstuck and map reset boxes didn't help either, as you said, only being downed and either ressed or forcing a respawn would seem to fix it.

  11. With the advent of Umbral Mods and their requisite builds, I feel like this would be a good time to address the disparity between aura mods and their wavering capacity increases.

    It seems a trifle odd to me that a mod which boosts melee damage should have the greatest increase, especially with the advent of so-called "Umbral" builds which downright require the few extra points.

  12. Hey all, so after the most recent patch dropped with the Melee Line of Sight changes, I decided to take Excalibur out for a spin in the Sim to see if anything had changed, and... well... I think his Exalted Blade is broken. From the looks of it, it'll only hit four enemies at a time, and enemy punchthrough seems very low, stopping after two or three enemies.

  13. Will there be any work done on the Kopesh single-sword skin to make it more accurate to historical swords of the same type? As for the Inaros skin itself, this looks amazing! I hope the helmet gets some tweaks as well, but even so. I wanted to love this skin so badly, and now I think I'll finally be able to.

  14. Prologue

    After completing my daily sortie, I received what would become one of the most hilarious, painful, and head scratching Riven Challenges I had ever encountered. 

    Lo and behold, one of those newfangled Plains challenges!

     

    "Well, this should be easy."


    So, as I loaded into the Plains, I figured I would hit up one of the larger Grineer installations that always seem to have a few Condroc circling above...

    I tried countless weapon and frame combinations, but nothing seemed to work. The Condroc died with time to spare, yet the Riven Challenge never seemed to complete. Heck, the counter didn't even go up when a single Condroc was killed!

     

    The Dawning Conclusion


    And that's when I noticed...

    When I moused over the Condroc that spawn over the Grineer installation, no marker appeared over them. Surely this doesn't matter, I thought.

    It does.

    After spending an absolutely load of time on the Plains, I had finally figured it out. There are two types of Condroc in the Plains of Eidolon.

    Static Condroc, which will always spawn in predetermined locations.

    Dynamic Condroc, whose chances of spawning are determined by RNG. (and continue to haunt my very existence.)

     

    The Aftermath

    And there we have it, Tenno. The end of more than a couple of hours bouncing around the plains, not knowing what in the world I had done wrong, until a crazy idea just so happened to be proven true. Good luck to everyone trying to complete a challenge like this, and I hope DE will change how these Static Condroc work soon.

    TL;DR: There are two types of Condroc, and only the ones that spawn by RNG will count toward any Plains Riven Challenges that involve them.

  15. Having some sort of community feedback on planned changes before they hit the live server is starting to become more and more needed with Warframe as these large, overarching changes start to become more and more commonplace. A PTR would be the perfect place to test these changes, even if it were only available to Founders and / or Community Contributors.
