  1. Riven replaces Sacrificial Pressure. Power Throw can be swapped for Dispatch Overdrive if you like going fast/dislike spamming consecutive throws. Not like Glaive Prime needs more damage anyway.

  4. That was the same update it got buffed to resist staggers and to not use the blocking animation when resisting a knockdown, so no, I doubt they forgot about it.
  5. Talking about the first "uppercut" of the glaive combo. Assualt Saw heavy is the first two hits of that, just slowed down.

  7. Given that some of the animations seem to be directly take from/extremely similar to Heavy Blade combos, yea, I'd expect some similarity in handling. I mean, have you seen Dominion Skin Zenistar? Thing's freaking massive. But that's beside the point. The point was not that Assault Saws have the exact same handling as Heavy Blades, but that we have huge weapons that can still be fast and graceful. But if you wanna take the route of how things "should" feel, shouldn't the Assault Saw stance combos hit multiple times given that we're swinging an active saw blade?

  9. Are you triggered by yourself? Given that you're talking about the subjective nature of animations and all. Who said anything about effective at sweeping the room? I made a statement that just because a weapon has "heft" (unless you wanna say that heavy blades don't) does not exclude it from being fast and graceful in Warframe. My giant sword I swing around gracefully and quickly also feels like it makes death extremely unpleasant for whatever I'm hitting.

  11. Yes it is a bug as it never got the 3x status chance buff from the shotgun status rebalance. Bronco is mentioned as a reference point for what it should be. If I was claiming it should be double Bronco’s status I would’ve said it should’ve had ~18.86% status chance. I’m not, so your comment is irrelevant and wrong.
  12. Akbronco only has ~3.14% status chance while Bronco has ~9.43% status chance.
  13. All that happened was that the Sentient cheese platter got expanded and that slash screws the damage system (again).
  14. I auto translated that to Orphix for some reason. To address SS though, the common way to kill was to use Mesa (Extreme raw DPS that's kinda hard for most weapons to match) or Exodia Contagion with Vex Armor (bugged to this day to have the buff applied twice)/Volt Shield (bugged at the time to make contagion stick forever). Either way, it was decently restrictive and was a strict "Status weapon's need not apply." Not even all crit weapons would cut it. "Easy" fix would be to make them actually adapt to true damage. Then your favoured Glaive Prime wouldn't hit so hard.

  16. It doesn't work on AoE attacks, so the Shedu's radial damage won't get buffed. It works fine on the direct hit though. Shedu direct hit does 71 heat damage, and Infested (the health type) has a +25% bonus to heat. You can see I do 89 damage, which is expected (71 x 1.25 = 88.75) When I have 2 stacks of Galvanized Aptitude (+80% dam per status), you can see that I do 160 damage, which is expected. 71 x 1.25 x (1 + 0.8) = 159.75 As for Mutalist Cernos, You're not going to get a noticeable damage increase on the arrow given that it has 410 base damage on charged shots

As others have said, it does not work on AoE, period, unless otherwise noted. So the AoE portions of weapons that it does work on are unaffected.   21. Fireball has a base damage of 400 (lower than I remember and had in my initial post). You can see that the uncharged version does 720 damage, showing that I'm at 180% strength. 2nd (2x multiplier) cast does 1440 damage, as expected 3rd (4x multiplier) cast does 2880 damage, as expected again 4th (8x multiplier) cast does 5760 damage. 5th cast (fully charged with max Immolation meter) does 9360 damage. 9360/720 = 13x damage. The only thing missing is the on fire bonus, which would bring it to 18,720 damage. So I'll retract this: You actually need +150% strength from her passive to reach "nearly 50k" with 180% modded strength if you include the AoE as well.
  22. Nice casual +95% strength from passive you're counting there. Here's how the math goes: Base damage of Fireball: 500 direct hit + 150 AoE Power Strength Multiplier: 1.8x Consecutive Cast Multiplier: 8x Charge Bonus at max Immolation: 5x (additive to Consecutive Cast Multiplier) So 650 x 1.8 x (8 + 5) = 16,380 damage. If we count Fireball's doubled damage when hitting an enemy with an active heat proc, it goes to 32,760 total damage. Still not 50k.
  23. Some Favorites: Pre-Old Blood Cyclone Kraken. Melee rework shortened its combos (and nerfed some of its multipliers/forced procs). The missing bits where stolen by given to Sundering Weave. It's still okay, but before it was the Broken Bull of machetes and just felt better Vermilion Storm A fast forward combo with a spin? Sign me up. Votive Onslaught Fast, stylish, and strong. Feels great to use. Dislikes: Stave stances Both could easily be merged into a single stance (and still be meh). What's sad is that Clashing Forest used to be alright, but something got messed up in the Old-Blood. Atlantis Vulcan Nunchuku are cool but their stance feels bad. Whip stances Still in purgatory for Maiming Strike's sins. Defiled Snapdragon A loser of the melee rework. Doesn't feel good to use now.
  24. Because Corvas does has some Slash damage in its base damage spread? It’s only Heat + Impact while in Archwing. Everywhere else it’s Impact + Puncture + Slash.
