  1. I agree with this completely. Look at my before-and-after pictures.

It made the Zariman hood all vibrant and soggy, the zariman sleeves cool shoulder-hooks are gone, the koppra suit looks WAY different and more flat, and the koppra faulds (not previewed above) don't even connect to the suit! They hover around it. I hope some devs see this and are able to revert some of these mesh/texture changes. I don't want to look like this!

  2. Steve said on Twitter recently that they had planned to ship out The Sacrifice along with the new particles, but decided to wait until a bit afterward to let people stress-test the particles on their systems first. The quest should be close to being done, considering the particle update should be hitting PC this week if I'm not mistaken.

EDIT: Good on me, didn't realize the original post was in February.

Well the only thing I want to add to the whole new system is being able to use my Tenno in my dojo a long with a new relay for those who completed TWW which allows you to walk around the relay as your operator because I wanna chill somewhere with my friends as our operators instead of either being alone in my liset or have the threat of enemies in a mission.

Yeah, I kind of agree. I don't know if they should add a whole new relay, but at least being able to use the Tenno in the dojo would be nice.

  4. The War Within was great. I really enjoyed it, despite being a little confusing at parts for me (lore-wise). The new system is cool too, allowing you to walk around as your Tenno and all...however, I am starting to wonder where the real use in this is. Like, sure, it's a cool alternative to normal gameplay I suppose, but there aren't really any real reasons to use your Tenno, besides just doing it for fun.

The Kuva Siphon stuff needs you to use your Tenno, but other than that...there really isn't anything. I mean, even during the Maw part, where you could control it using Transference.. when would we really need to do that again? There is nothing like that outside of the quest. The stealth part is probably one of the more useful abilities in a normal mission, but sadly it's not that reliable due to how quickly you drain through your power when you use your abilities. Also, why would you really need to stealth? You can't do any form of finisher on an enemy as the Tenno-- you can just ragdoll them with the Void Blast or try to drain their health with the laser (which, may I add, does not work very well on mid-to-higher level enemies).

The choices you made also don't seem to affect anything (at least from what I can see), but I'm sure it would be revealed in a later update, alongside more use for the Tenno and their abilities. All I'm saying I guess is that either it would have been nice to have more to do with the Tenno alongside the same update, or just more things that they could do, to make it more of a special thing. Maybe even somehow tie in your Focus school to change how their abilities work? I don't know. I was just left wanting a little more from the whole thing (don't get me wrong, I still enjoy it for what it is).

What are your thoughts? What would you personally like to see be added to the new system? If you would change anything, what would it be?

EDIT: Maybe I was just sort of expecting it to be to the degree of The Second Dream. We got to create our own character, and there was a decently fleshed-out system involving them that comes in handy whenever you need it, in any mission. However, obviously I forgot how important of a character we created. It's us. Of course we will be expanded upon in many ways as time goes on... The War Within was just the beginning of us unlocking the Tenno's true potential.

  5. Mag was the first warframe I chose back in 2013, and I have never installed a forma on her (mostly because she doesn't really need it). The thing with Mag nowadays is a lot of people were upset about her after her rework, calling her useless and all that... Polarize is not her 'main' ability anymore. Yes, it used to be amazing against corpus, but the rework made her a bit of a well-rounded frame, since it now also strips armor off of enemies and deals health damage as well. Mag's NEW 'main' ability is Magnetize. If you do it right, you can end up putting out tons of DPS in a certain spot, sucking in enemies and using their own attacks against them.

This is my build which works pretty well imo:

    5d07d5.jpg

So let's go from ability to ability and I'll explain how I use them--
    ----------------------------------------------------------
Pull: Good for flinging enemies away to get a short time of breathing space, or for pulling them into your Magnetize bubble for practically insta-death (as long as it's charged with enough DoT)

Magnetize: What she is pretty much based around now. Stick a bubble around an enemy, rendering them useless, and it sucks in anyone else nearby. All nearby gunfire will charge up the DoT, and anything that walks into it, or gets pulled into, will pretty much melt. Pull will deal more damage (although, it isn't very likely that you will need to pull enemies that are already INSIDE the bubble), and the bubble will suck in any shrapnel pieces left behind from Polarize for a significant DoT upgrade. You can experiment with quite a few weapons to see what affects the damage the most. Miter, I've heard, changes the bubble into a sawblade machine that chops up enemies with a lot of slash damage. A Gas Lanka build is also great for taking out heavy/high level targets in seconds, which I have tested on my own. Another thing, you can sort of treat the Magnetize bubble as a Snowglobe of sorts, since all gunfire near the bubble will just direct straight into the middle. So as long as you are standing inside the bubble but not directly in the middle, there is a small chance of you getting hurt.

Polarize: Good for decent (sometimes lethal depending on enemy level, usually stops around level 35 or so) damage to enemies that are clustered together, and travels in a very large radius. Strips shields off of enemies, but rather as base damage, not a percentage as it used to be. Also strips armor off of enemies, which is a great addition.

Crush: I don't find myself using crush very often due to the damage, but it's one of those abilities I'll just use if the team is dying and they are trying to revive each other, since it will stop enemy fire for a few seconds.
    ----------------------------------------------------------

Overall I think Mag is a nice frame, and you should hold onto her if you enjoy a play-style like this. I never sell any of my frames since I enjoy having a lot of choices, but if you are low on slots, it's understandable.

EDIT: I see that some people recommend augments for her, which is totally acceptable. If you want to kill everything with Crush, have at it. This is just my build to show that Polarize is not her main thing anymore, and what you can get out of Magnetize. Good luck experimenting!

  6. In the original Lunaro reveal trailer a few months back, the last few seconds of the video showed the operators standing alongside their warframes. Do they play a specific role that we don't know about yet, or...? Originally I had thought that you could actually play the sport as the operator, and in an earlier devstream, you hinted that accessories for operators will have a more important role, making me also think they were playable...but that was before I saw any gameplay, which makes me now think that's impossible (unless they somehow learned the ways of Parkour 2.0, which I doubt).

So, I had just logged in to test out the new operator cosmetics. Everything was fine, touched up my operator to look a bit nicer.
A few minutes later, I logged out. Then I logged back in, and...??? Everything was wiped clean. Luckily I took a screenshot of my operator before-hand, so I can recreate it to the best of my ability. Just posting to show that this bug exists. Don't know how it happened

Is there any possible way that in the future we can have an option to be able to color the gold bits on our own instead of it being forced? Yes, I could just change the color to a gold myself, but then all of the red that I had before would also become gold. I know it doesn't seem like that big of a deal, but this is my main loadout, and the gold bits really helped my prime weapons stand out. I just preferred how it used to look.
I'm probably going to get hate or replies that are just like "deal with it dude, lol", but I just wanted some insight from a developer (possibly) to see if they would consider. I just do not want different colors forced on my favorite warframe. Also, I had to change my Excalibur Prime almost completely since the PBR somehow screwed up his helmet colors. I'm sure many others can relate, seeing the other forum posts.

P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong area, I'm still semi-new to posting on the forums.

  9. Well, glad to know it's not just me. I mean, I started loving Mios a lot, but...I don't even want to use half of it's concept now. It is actually faster for me to just run up and quick-melee than it would be to use the whip now.

  10. Ever since U18 hit and the charge mechanic was added back into the game, all of my melee weapons that already HAD charge attacks are now 2-3 times slower than what they were before. Glaive takes longer to throw, the Mios whip attack doesn't feel as fluent, and the Redeemer feels awkward to shoot (not to mention, the animation looks kind of weird now for some reason?). I don't know if I'm just being picky, but it just doesn't feel as fluent/fun to use to me anymore. Now don't get me wrong, I love that charge attacks are back for all weapons, but why change the ones that already had the function? If this is just a bug, let me know.

  11. I'm willing to trade any of the following (for their fair price trades), for Nyx Prime Chassis...because I've gotten no luck.

Bo Prime BP, which is normally 20 plat.

Orthos Prime Blade, which is also normally 20 plat.

Soma Prime BP, which is normally 30 plat.

Vasto Prime Barrel, which is normally 35 plat.

The Nyx Prime Chassis goes for around 25-30 plat, so it seems fair. If you want any of those four things...I would love to make a trade! Just reply to this topic and send me a friend request in-game so I know who it is.
