  1. Tap//Hold seems the easiest, the idea of playing with was never fun for me, especially in open worlds where you don't really have a choice over lighting conditions. Could Also make it so you get a fixed buff after casting for X seconds, so you can choose to stand in light/dark and casting the buff will probe the light around and give yo a fix buff for the duration. There could be a new 'light' gauge on display at all times to indicate what buff you'll get once you cast the ability. Also, why isn't mirage's Helmith buff nerfed as Rhino's Roar? It should be cut by 50% and that would balance it in my opinion.
  2. Hi all, this is a bug report as well as a suggestion to the devs to implement the ability to chose the monitor warframe is displayed in. TL;DR Warframe does not have option to select display monitor, could you please add it? Game will default to whatever windows treats as number '1', and officially windows dos not let you change that number resorting in need to do registry magic. Here is the full story: For a very long time I had issues with the game with display I could not pinpoint. Tearing, low FPS, stuttering depending on which settings I chose. My main problem was that enabling Vsync caused my FPS to be locked to 60, even though I have 144 GHz motor. Disabling vsync caused tearing as expected and the game appeared even less smooth on 144 than 60. After a while of playing with the settings I noticed I could lock my FPS to some odd number like 59.998. This is the moment I realized what was going on - This is the refresh rate possible to achieve with my secondary 60GHz monitor. I them realized that the game does not have an ability to switch he monitor the game is displayed on, so it must be applying vsync settings to fit this secondary monitor which explains 60FPS lock. Keep in mind this only happens in Borderless Fullscreen mode, the fullscreen make it better but there is around 6 second delay when alt+tabbing and back, which is why I insisted on playing borderless. So here is what caused the issue - My 'Primary' monitor was marked as '2' in Widnows display settings. This is because I upgraded my setup and bought new 144GHz better monitor and connected it along the first one. Windows will give it a number '2' no matter what you do, and it is not possible to change that number by any official means. Warframe is the only game which has this problem as usual game will just let you change display monitor in the settings, or simply read the correct configuration depending on which monitor the game is running in, so I blame the game for not accounting for this scenario. The solution is to delete registry folder 'configuration', this one: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers\Configuration Then shut down the PC, leave only main monitor plugged, turn it back on and reconnect remaining monitor(s) to rearrange windows numbering system. This fixed incorrect Vsync settings in the game, and I no longer have any tearing or stuttering
