  1. I personally really like the set. Yeah, the waypoints can be a bit wonky, I admit. Though, as someone above aid, run it a few times, you'll get gist of it. I also admit the cramped spaces make it a bit difficult, but I personally like it. This map brings a little bit of fear back to the infested again, with the new music, sounds, the claustrophobic spaces, and Infested teeming everywhere, it makes you seem like you can get overwhelmed by the horde at any point.

Overall, I think this will be my new favorite map once we get to the normal missions.

  2. Hey guys, just a quick question:

Back in damage 1.0, you couldn't get critical hits on shields, is that the same thing now after damage 2.0? I've been putting crit mods on Corpus load-outs and was just wondering if I was wasting space.

  3. Corpus Acolyte

Behavior: Uses parkour and high speed to get into close melee range.

Attacks: Fist-and-feet Obex melee system/ Ranged shield blasts emitted from gauntlets.

Environments: Only inhabits Corpus indoctrination temples or act as bodyguards to high level corpus bosses.

Description: Female robed corpus. Still retains the standard helmet under the hood. Basically, in my mind is a female corpus crewman in a blue-ish/gray robe with hood, wielding the Obex.

  4. Name: Infested Spawner

Behavior: Similar to a Grineer Seeker, the Spawner will hang back while its fellows horde the Tenno. At regular intervals, it will spawn a small leach-like invested that will crawl to the unsuspecting Tenno.

Attacks: The leach is its main "weapon." It latches onto the Tenno and stars draining health from its target. If a Tenno gets close to the Spawner itself, it can emit a spray like the Embolist pistol.

Environmental Restrictions: Spawn count about the same as Seekers; otherwise none.

Appearance: Looks like a heavily mutated heavy gunner or other female Grineer, with bloated abdominal sac and fleshy arms leading to the Embolist pistol.

    Inspiration: The Dead Space Pregnant

Notes: I was just thinking of an infested minion spawner counterpart to the Corpus Leech Osprey and Grineer Seeker.

  5. Ah, I remember back when Mag could rip the shields right out of their hands. I kind of miss that. But I agree, some health to their shields would be a nice idea, even if it isn't particularly a nuisance anyway.

  6. The real problem with this is that you can get that message when that mod isn't even installed in that loadout. For example, say I have a level 2 Stormbringer in loadout A, but not in B or C. As long as all the mod points are spent in B and C, I can't upgrade the Stormbringer in A. So I have to not only go through each weapon that has this mod, but every loadout as well and make sure they have extra mod points, even though they won't be used.

  7. I'm going to be "that guy" and recommend the Seer. Nice accuracy. A higher base damage than a Lex shot, making it better for elementals. And the damage is evenly distributed, making it good against all factions. If you counteract things like it's reload speed and fire-rate (which still isn't too bad, mind you), it becomes a reliable side-arm for a long time.

  8. One must realize: these weapons were designed during damage 1.0, before the two weapons had different ammo types to be used on different factions. They were designed for different roles. The Viper(s) was designed, in my belief, as a heavy buster. Boasting larger crits, damage, and fire rates to pump as much damage into an enemy in as little time as possible. The Furis, on the other hand, with its massive clip size and lower rate of fire, was designed to deal with medium-sized crowds and little guys. But, after all, it's just a theory... a game the-- wait, not my show.

  9. They were the first weapons I put a forma into. They are heavy killers. Their rate of fire and damage allow them to burn enemies real fast. Not so good against crowds. You want crowd worthy automatic pistols? Go Afuris, though I never liked them.
