  1. I've been having the same problem. built it a few days ago, and its fire rate has been extremely inconsistent, regardless of fire rate mods I do/don't have on it.

     

    it seems like it might slow down when connection/host is slow? kind of hard to tell though.

  2. In the Simulacrum the auto-cloud-on-hit the Mutalist Cernos has only deals damage & procs when:

    1. it's a direct hit
    2. you don't kill that enemy with the shot (i.e. the enemy is still alive)

    Basically, it only deals damage when the cloud is attached to a live enemy, and it stops working when that enemy dies. A cloud generated by shooting a wall/ground/etc does nothing except the visual effect.

    I tested this unmodded, with various damage types, and with/without Serration & Split Chamber. Seems to be broken across the board.

  3. disclaimer: after extensive testing, I think I've figured this out? might require further testing, though.

    the Mutalist Cernos cloud that auto-procs on every hit causes damage inconsistently. Like really inconsistently.

    Testing on ~level 32 Grineer Lancers in a Sab mission (so same enemy, not an issue of different HP pools), sometimes the cloud DoT would deal tons of damage (like 25% of HP/tick), sometimes it would deal moderate (~10%/tick), and sometimes almost nothing (like 5 damage/tick). At the time I had it modded for ~1600 Radiation, ~800 Viral, ~150 Cold, ~800 Impact, and ~50 Slash/Puncture.

    My guess is that each cloud (in addition to the base Toxin proc based off the measly 50 or w/e base & unmodded Toxin damage the bow has) also deals DoT/procs of one elemental type you have? Like the high damage was based off my 1600 Radiation, the moderate based off 800 Viral, and the low based off 150 Cold. This seemed to match up with the procs the weapon would do (modded for 100% status chance), i.e. high damage DoT procced Rad, moderate procced Viral, low procced Cold.

    This might be working-as-intended, but it would be nice if DE told us that was how it worked (especially since this weapon has the unique ability to get 3 elemental damage types if you mod it right, which means really inconsistent cloud damage unless you're running pure Toxin). All in all it just seems weird, and I'm sure this isn't how the weapon is meant to function.
