    I agree. It's sad that DE has to be bothered with nonsense and trash like this for doing what they do. I was upset we didn't get to see her abilities. These boys are complaining about her backside not being fully visible. Trash will stay trash.

    So you think that Mesa came out... received backlash for "nerfed" assets.... and that they couldn't make Wisp's butt smaller in the design process to bypass any scrutiny? They could've just made her butt smaller in the concept art and the model before showing it, but no they didn't. That Mesa incident happened long before we saw Wisp. Think further than your libido before you speak.

  3. These "reworks" are just a lazy marketing tool to sell the coming deluxe skins. Rework is just a buzz word at this point. Vauban got a trash "rework" just in time for his deluxe skin. They don't really care that much at this point it seems. 😕

  4. So, currently, enemies that are hit by this ability with the augment are stunned for a duration. That's lazy. She already has enough CC. What that ability could use (especially with this rework) is a spread mechanic. With the augment equipped, allow her debuff to spread in a small aoe from the targets that die after being marked. Psychic Burst perhaps.

     

    Absorb is trash. Like seriously. I love this ability, but it is not useful at all. I think it needs a damage and range multiplier based off of how many enemies are affected but her CC. This damage multiplier also mulitplier how much damage she can intake before energy is consumed. Increase in the base passive damage increase as well. This will allow her damage to ramp up quickly without waiting for our entire energy bar to deplete. This could even synergize with Chaos Sphere. Enemies that enter simply increase the radius more.

    In conclusion, I feel that Nyx has great CC, and all she needs is a real powerful damaging ability like what Absorb is suppose to be. Someone else stated this, but Absorb should be a built up [nuke]. Not a slow time bomb that just knocks enemies down above lvl 40. She has a damaging ability for an Ultimate. Let it do real damage as well as allow it to build up near the pace of the rest of the game. Nova is a great CC/damage frame, and that's with just 1 ability. Nyx should be too. Now that you've given her the debuff on her 2, building negative powerstrength isn't really smart anymore, so with that in mind you could boost her 4 so that it's all useful with this rework.

    PSA I see. I hope they're actually receptive to this feedback. It would be a simple change to remove the Mining BP requirements and let the mining be all that we need to do.

    As for the update it already started to fall apart in the eyes of most people, we have the same poe bounties we all hate twisted around to fit venus, the same standing systems, timegates to make this relatively low content appear much larger than it is actually.

The thing is, is that there is plenty of content in Fortuna that has nothing to do with Garuda, so getting her in a way that doesn't feel scummy and puts her more in line with the rest of the warframes won't change anything for the rest of the content. They need to get rid of the blueprint idea for minerals and just let us mine and craft just like how we get polymer bundle and oxium. We don't need blueprints for those things. This system adds wayy too much to trying to get her. We got her blueprints. Let us go mine and craft her. No Solaris United BP gates required. Bada bing bada boom.

    I don't have a problem with farming the pieces and the resources, but when you can only get the resources from one area AND you need blueprints to refine those resources AND those blueprints are behind a time gate such as this, that is a real problem. Gara was terrible for me because found POE to be ok but not super fun, but Garuda is worse and that's depressing. DE had a fine system. It wasn't so easy that you'd never think to buy a warframe and it wasn't so grindy that you were always forced to. If they continue with this particular trend it could upset the balance of what they've had with the fans thus far. I hope they make some changes soon.

Now I still love warframe (been playing cross-platform since the PC betas) and always will, but personally, if I manage to get $20 to drop on anything, it'll be a meal that isn't ramen. It puts players who won't pay money in a precarious situation: Play a game purely because grind, never play Garuda (which in this sense is content-locking, or paywalling), or waste your life on the declining trade market.

    I have literally been livid all day about all of this and was thinking about making a post. I'm glad you did. I was fine going in to grind for her, but to find out that they did all of this ON TOP of her costing so much if you want to circumvent it? I don't even know seriously. It's upsetting and I'm disappointed. This grind is too much. Especially if you've hated mining since it came out. I haven't tried the new mining but it sucks the life out of me so hard. To read that I need to grind to RANK 4 to fully work on getting her??... I-I can't. Plains of Eidolon did enough damage. It was too repetitive and grindy for the cetus syndicate. I'm still not even maxed out with it because I could only manage like 2 bounties before I was like "ok I'm done", when I was playing a lot. 325 is a clear cash grab on her hype and that's disappointing because they did the same with Khora but the grind was nowhere near as serious. I need a break clearly which I thought I was already doing.

  9. Garuda creates a circle and all the enemies in it are marked. It grows more and more and marks all enemies in front of you. Please do something similar for Ash. He doesn't need the ability to hit enemies that are of his line of sight. Ash's ultimate is tedious in fast past paced combat. It can instantly be at a fixed size (perhaps the size of half his body). The full marks are already applied based off of whether or not the enemy will survive the threshold of damage 1 mark will apply.

    I dont think more dmg is enough justification for lower survivability. Personally if what we saw stays, then I’d only use it to gain some energy in the start of the mission, then heal with her 2 and have enough energy for whatever 

     

      It’s pretty clear they intend for her to be a very micro frame in order to do optimal performance, but the normal performance is already decent, and frames hardly need any dmg buff, let alone a self one which is inconsistent one too 

    Exactly. A passive like the Mutation stacks with Nidus is an example of a good passive working well with the abilities. It just seems like her least thought out ability. I'm hoping the changes that come to her post launch really make her kit meatier. They stated that her passive came from the idea that a frame is benefited from the fight getting more intense, but this isn't the answer thus far. Losing the buff when healing is too counter productive.

  11. Now to go off of what Chewarette stated regarding the passive, wouldn't it be interesting if her passive's damage buff was affected by Vitality as it won't be affected by power strength. So the higher your health is, the higher the damage buff will naturally be when you cut your health in half.

    Plus, +50% damage for half HP is not exactly "a small damage buff". It is insane actually. It may even be affected by Power Strength, which would be, actually, the best passive in the world.

    The only sure thing is, we don't anything about numbers until it is released and hotfixed/tuned (because it will be).

    Cool. 👍 Glad you're excited for what's suppose to be coming later today. Passives have never been affected by power strength but okay. Rhino, Chroma, Octavia, and Banshee give "insane" buffs. 50% is nothing special especially for losing our health. I get that have a wait and see mentality, but if you have nothing to offer in terms of ideas or feedback on the idea mentioned then we're done.

    You get a damage buff based off of the percentage of how much health she's missing, so to optimize this "passive" you need to fight at low health. You see the percentage whenever her health is lowered in the top right near her health bar. Her health is cut by 50% to give herself a 50% buff that fades quickly from the healing of the Spire ability.

     

  14. So self mutilation is nice and all but cutting your health in half for a small damage buff from a half baked passive and some energy is bogus. There are some people who perform self harm to feel alive or a rush. She should grow in her intensity from cutting her health in half. Give us a real benefit for potentially downing ourselves quickly.

    On top of cutting her health and giving herself energy, I think her 3 should trigger a blood trance that increases movement speed/attack speed, allows you to see enemy auras, and a flat damage buff (give her a new passive🙄 staying at low health is impractical and losing the damage buff's potency because we're healing is stupid) for a duration.

    No one said the message would be incessant. It would be a 1 time thing. You could ignore it or not even be on to receive it if you're not on. DE's gonna do with they want. If they chose to make this choice it would be on a rare occasion I'd imagine. If the idea is not that important/appealing to you then that's fine, but I do agree that a Poll on the Forums wouldn't be as informative.

    I totally agree. I think they need to step back and finish what they started to make it all equally good and polished.

    Then the show needs to change. We need a greater voice than the forums and I think in game voting could help provide greater feedback from all players, new and old. Players may want different things, but we could at least make a statement as a community.

  17. DE doesn't have to act on it, but it would be nice to get a consensus on what the majority of the playerbase wants the most. I have no bias as I want both honestly, but can we get an Official Poll to vote on whether we want them to focus on Warframes more heavily or future content? It's sad seeing Warframes in need like Ember, Wukong, Chroma, Valkyr, Nyx, Titania, Vauban, and the rest that are in these dated/poorly designed/unfinished states or at least need more tweaks, but they have to focus most of their resources on future content. What we use to play the content is just as important though, if not, more.

  18. Tribute is her primary support ability. These supportive buffs themselves should be more useful than they are.

    Let us cycle through and choose the buff like Ivara.

    PowerStrength should work on some of these buffs. These are some changes they could do for her buffs.

    Dust - 75% Accuracy debuff at base. (Not affected by PowerStrength)

    Thorns - Enemies lose 5% of their health every time they hit you. On hit 50% chance to shred 25% of their armor. (Armor shred chance and amount affected by PowerStrength)

    Entangle - Enemies within 10 meters are halted and staggered, similar to Inaros's scarab swarm.

    Full Moon - Increases PowerStrength and grants energy regen. (Increases companion damage as well)

    As the invisible support frame, these ideas are to strengthen her in that role.

    Please stop complaining about Saryn when she's fine. You got top damage and over 2000 kills. Whining about this is like getting mad that someone has 100 more dollars than you but you're both millionaires.
