  1. I just received my bonus from a murex wave, I received a lvl 2 condrix emblem since I had done over 3000 points on the ground, but I only received 2000 bonus credits. I should've received 6000 credits according to the event notes. If this is a bug, please fix it; if it's a mistake in the event notes, please fix that.

    Edit:

    • TYPE: Event bonus reward
    • DESCRIPTION: Qualified for and received lvl 2 emblem for condrix but only received 2000 bonus credit instead of 6000
    • VISUAL: can post a screen of the inbox messages tomorrow if you really want them
    • REPRODUCTION: No idea if this is reproducible, this is the first time I went above lvl 1
    • EXPECTED RESULT: I would expect to receive 6000 bonus credits for scoring above 3000 points on the ground mission
    • OBSERVED RESULT: received 2000 bonus points
    • REPRODUCTION RATE: I'll update if it continues to happen.

    Oh, that explains what just happened to me, I was wondering why my flux kept regenerating while I was solo'ing the veil. I thought maybe there was some passive I didn't know about or a component had a bonus of flux on kill or something.

  3. So, I figured out the combo for my lich, raised it to lvl 5 before I killed it, but when I put the combo on the parazon and went for final blow, I got stuck in a cutscene. Maybe because I have custom binding on some things that bug that out, I assume there was supposed to be some sort of prompt to melee to kill or something else to tame.

     

    Edit: or maybe it's because I guessed one of the mods before I fully learned the murmur. Either, pls fix since atm I have no way to kill this lich and I'd like his weapon.

  4. Well, I think 15 credit per rank for prestiging is pretty close to what you get during the season since you get 50 wolf credit every 3-4 ranks, so you get 45-60 cred for the same number of ranks while prestiging.

     

    Bigger issue is that there isn't really anything to spend the creds on if you've been playing the game for a while. I have more than enough potatoes and nitain for a long time and there aren't that many cosmetics to buy that I've not gotten yet. When the initial nightwave reward structure was announced I suggested that they should add kuva for wolf cred since that is more of a evergreen reward for vets, may as well add endo as well, or maybe even allow resources to be purchased with the creds.  I mean, I guess I could just buy Auras but I don't really want to sell them and none of the people I currently play with really need them.

    They exclude each other because the grenades detonate on impact when you use the new mod, if there is no grenade on the ground, it's not possible for tether to do anything. The way the mod behaves you'd have to use adhesive blast with the other two for tether to play nice with the new augment. DE probably just excluded tether and the new mod since the new mod just sort of cancels the tether ability. I mean I guess they could have coded it  so that the fire patch is able to tether but that would probably be a lot more work than just excluding the use of both mods.

  6. I don't enjoy battle passes, they make it feel like you can never take a break. I know mathematically I can miss so many acts but that doesn't stop the feeling that I have to do every act that pops.

    I don't like feeling like I will miss out on a lot of content if I have take a break or go on vacation.

    Nightwave system is kind of reminding me of the Living Story from Guild Wars 2 and I really hated the Living Story because as soon as I took a break from GW2, I knew I would probably never go back to the game because I would've missed out on so much story content, it's been at least 3 years since I took that break.

     

    If Nightwave series were always available and we could choose which to do and work on it at our own pace it'd be fine, it'd be even better if the acts were just always up when you activate one of the Nightwave series. So, when series 2 comes, you could have the choice to do series 1 and all 10 weeks of acts for series 1 are available for you to finish series 1 when you want and series 2 does weekly updates on acts, acts would accumulate for series 2 as it goes so that if you started series 2 while it was live in the third week, you would have three weeks worth of acts to use to catch up with. Just make it so you can only have 1 Nightwave active at a time and allow you to switch which series you do. This would probably be a lot of work but I think this is the option I prefer, just keep series 1 creds to series 1 store. This would also allow someone to work on a past series they might not have finished if they complete all of teh current series available acts and they could just switch back to the current series when they were done. This would probably be quite a bit of work to create systems that would allow this but I think this sort of system where you can activate what would otherwise be timed exclusives is the option I prefer for solving the issues I have with Nightwave in it's current form.

    Not really, he's talking about the wolf cred store and that the rewards rotate each week, his fear is that the ornament won't be there next week so he has 3 days to get the 40 cred to buy it. And we don't really know how the store will rotate.

  8. I really wish DE would just sponsor an official wiki. I know it would be a lot of work to recreate everything that is already on the unofficial wiki, but having an official DE supported wiki would be so nice. This game relies on having a wiki for the players to learn from and, I'd like to think that if DE supported a wiki, we could have the feature to search the wiki from ingame, either codex or chat commands.

  9. Energy Vampire doesn't work against any Hyena Variant in Orb Vallis, you simply get "invalid target" when you try to use it on them. I have been able use it on other enemy types, can't confirm that it works on the two larger Raknoids or on Jackals, though, as I was solo farming pigment at the Grow site and never encountered the larger proxies. It worked on Raptors, though.

     

    This behavior of it not working on Hyena variants is odd and I believe it to be a bug since I don't think there is any other unit in the game that is immune to it, other than possibly drop ships that can't be targeted by most abilities and things like nullifiers.

  10. This might have already been reported but I could not really find anything in a quick search:

     

    I've been getting a soft lock while having the echo lure out and then using the k drive. When I exit the K drive I'll have the lure in hand, but the UI for the lure won't be displayed and I won't be able to use any Warframe ability or transferance, I don't think I can even use quick melee. The only way I've found to fix it is to equip the lure again and then equip a weapon. Also the Lure doesn't seem to display the UI for the start point of consversation while on the K Drive anymore.

I only tested this with Slay Board, but killing an enemy with the K drive doesn't appear to give standing; I would think it should as killing a Terra unit with one of the damage mods like Slay Board or Thrash Landing seems like something that would earn you rep with the Ventkids. Some sort of voice over once you manage to get enough kills with the board could be interesting but I don't know if you really have it in the budget to add more VO at this point for something like this.

  12. I'd prefer the races were all available at once as well.

     

    To your point about how the races rotate, they reset with normal daily reset, currently 7pm EST because of daylight savings time, and there are 5 every day.

  13. It's not really that much of a bug and just the way that the mining works now.

     

    The plasma cutter has a chance to get Thyst and Zodian while the plains cutters cannot get those rare gems. Assuming that the drop chance of Thyst and Zodian draws from all the other Venus gems and not just, say, Goblite or something when you use the plasma cutter, you essentially have a lower chance to get Amarast with the plasma cutter than you do with the advanced cutter. In addition a perfect cut and hitting the small bonus node have increased chances at higher rarity gems; if you have the advanced cutter equipped, the highest rarity gem you can get is Amarast, so if you use the advanced cutter you are more likely to get Amarast than if you use the plasma cutter assuming you are making good cuts.

     

    You still get quite a bit of Amarast while using the plasma cutter but can echo the sentiment that it often feels like you get more Thyst and Zodian than Amarast while mining with it.

  14. I just did one one of these, it was a Defense on Uranus. It was very disappointing, extremely trivial and just took too long to get interesting and was just too long in general. I went in with two other friends, one full ABC rotation took us 45 minutes, there was no real risk of failure, it just took a long time and the enemies still died in 1-2 shots 45 minutes in. I imagine if we had kept going it would've eventually been enjoyable and challenging but after 45 minutes we were rather tired and bored, especially since adds kept getting stuck in a wall or otherwise failed to path to the objective.

     

    I would like to see these alerts use the same traditional 5 min/5 wave/etc rotation timer but have the level the enemy scale faster, the end result would still see the end of the first C rotation at the same level as now, but it'd only take half the time. It'd also be nice if rotation C gave more essence, as is, there is very little reason to go past 60 minutes in this game mode.

  15. You were reading old information. When it first launched you could end the round faster if you let yourself die to bleed points, this was kind of silly though and DE changed it so that the round ends when you hit your target number of points or run out of time. This change also allows you to stay invested for another round without an ante, so you can do as many rounds as you can handle to bank credits. Prodman still shows up now and is based on the mission timer. Call a nerf if you want, I'd call it more like a quality of life change or improvement.

  16. I think I might have found a solution for this, and maybe part of the repro for it. I had it happen to me today when I did Uranus assassinate for the sortie and this bug happened after I exited from the archwing spawn point. I think sometimes when you switch between archwing and warframe you get the archwing sensitivity "stuck" on instead of switching between the two sensitivities. So I just made the archwing look and aim sensitivity the same as my normal warframe look and aim sensitivities and it solved the problem I had.

     

    Maybe in your case this bug "stacked" multiple times to the point that you literally couldn't lower the setting anymore to correct it? Anyway, take a look at adjusting your Archwing sensitivity and seeing if that fixes it, I guess.

I was trying to initiate the research on mortus pink today, I had gathered 40 pigment and only need 15 for our clan size; I went to the terminal hit "contribute all" and found out that I only got credit for the amount of credits that were needed and not the pigment. In addition all 40 pigment disappeared from my inventory.

     

    So, it looks like if you try to do "contribute all" when you have more than one item that needs to met, then only one of the requirements will actually receive credit for being completed and any additional item you wanted to contribute just gets "eaten" and no credit for that item is given.  I have not tried to replicate this since I'd rather not risk having more resources dissolve so it could be this is just from mortus pink or maybe else caused this to happen.

     

    This isn't that big a deal with mortus pink since it's a very small item requirement but I would've been rather annoyed if it had happened after I had done serious farming.
