  1. Yeah, no, I went in to those entrance-less caves as well. It's marked on my screenshot of the map, and I'm fairly sure they counted as I entered them... Sigh.

Maybe a cave didn't count when I was a client in a bounty or something, and not a host...

  2. So, I'm fairly sure these are all 30 that the game requires you to find for the achievement, Vallis Spelunker. I've been going in and out of the caves that I've already visited, and I've been checking with other completed maps from other users... I'll just assume that this is a bug for the time being, but achievement is unobtainable as such.

  3. Kuva Flood, Sorties 3, and Trials (rest in peace, trials) are/were the only thing *closest* to end-game we had. Well, and Endless Void through Void Keys before they retired those out, too.

I wholeheartedly agree; the phrase end-game is just a running joke right now, and what DE had to show at the last Devstream in regards to Dark Sector perhaps serving as end-game content is somewhat... conflicted. It's more of a speedrun content, I would argue. True end-game currently does not exist. There are daily grind-able contents (and 2 hours-ly, if you count Eidolons), and there are endless modes where enemies scale ad infinitum, but our rewards do not. It feels very punishing, and the traditional game of risk v. reward has been expunged out of Warframe.

Let me be devil's advocat here: When they axe content that is played only by a minority (raids) then conclave & lunaro go the way of the dodo very soon. All their rewards could be part of the new venus open world.

All the past rewards will be part of the new bigger and thiccer Eidolons that will be introduced, as written in DE's post in regards to Trials.

If Trials take so much to maintain, imagine how much effort is being put to making sure Conclave isn't broken also, whenever they add a new weapon or a frame.

*Getting removed temporarily* is a pretext for DE to retire Trials permanently, so they can focus on more casual version of the Trials (which they are deeming it as wildly successful in comparison), Eidolon Hunts. Because let's face it, Eidolons are far easier to update, manage, and duplicate. This will encourage returning players, and casual newbies coming into the game by allowing them access to old Arcanes; but never forget that they are killing off a viable game mode. Sure, Jordas Verdict is a buggy mess from time to time and it needs a little work, but Law of Retribution and its Nightmare counterpart is playable, has some depths with puzzles & story of Vay Hek. Removal of LoRs is simply unwarranted and unreasonable. It's not like Trials have dedicated servers, anyhow. It's just back-end bug fixes. Stop doing bug-fixes altogether, and leaving LoR to rot would be better than to take it out, never to be seen again - just like Dark Sector Armistice.(Or it'll just take 2 - 3 years to come back. Whichever they feel like at that point, when most of Trials veterans would have left the game long time ago)

  5. Steve is hoping for 1 - 2 hours.

He said that about 60k twitch accounts need to be processed before PoE can ship, and 700 accounts are getting processed per min or so. This comes down to just over 80 minutes. If nothing goes wrong, I think his estimation is sound.

Hype train is on full throttle.

    CHOO. CHOO.

  6. I feel like all Opticor needed was the 2x Explosion AoE. Revert it back to how it was at U21, problem solved.

Reduction of charge rate does not help Opticor's identity. In fact, now without the explosion, it's more like the Ferrox.. in which you trade out faster charge rate for more base damage. With lower crits.

DE, you don't have to find other ways to buff the Opticor. You've already found the one that works, and that people like.

Edit: Player _Silas tells me that the Opticor now does way less damage, and no visible stat changes (aside from intended fire rate). Well, this is disappointing... At this point, I've given up Opticor. I'll stick to more reliable Ferrox that hasn't been touched in a while.

What are you talking about ._. With it's innate punch through, crit buff, and splash range it is amazing.

They just *undid* the 2x AoE change. Just tested it. Splash range you speak of, doesn't really do much now.

As in.... now Opticor just doesn't seem worth it. Ergo, back to Ferrox. Stronger Crit beats mediocre Splash Range it has now - considering the charge rate, too.

  8. Opticor and Frost's Globe isn't working too well in conjunction.

If you're inside the globe, and if you're targeting enemies outside the globe - the hit will often not register, and this is very frequent. Enemies inside the globe, your hits will land with no issues. It's just that weapon is rendered useless for enemies outside the globe, if you're in it.

Also, Scourge's throw and Mag's Magnetize has a hilarious (and pretty believable) interaction between them. If you throw the Scourge inside the bubble, you can't retrieve the weapon and it spins in the middle of Magnetize... as you'd expect it to behave. Pretty funny, and probably not a bug and intended feature.

  9. Hoping Riven Dispositions'll be up on that site, too, but I guess that's somewhat unlikely, huh.

Regardless, just showing us 5 levels of different strength for such an RNG-reliant system as Rivens... sure feels insufficient.

And, as some suggested, it wouldn't be too difficult to ask the dataminers to only release the content that's already in-game. Post-Umbra, I guess, but asking can't hurt.

  10. Alertium does not need to be on Sorties! It's... Alertium. Do not kill our Alertium :scared:.

Forma also does not need to be in Sorties. We can get them easily enough, all you're doing by adding forma is diluting the pool.

Decreasing the drop rate for 2k Endo isn't entirely a wrong move, but some will still end up getting it every single day of the week and get frustrated.

It's unlikely, but it's not impossible. Instead, I think removing 2k endo from reward pool entirely is the best - or, increasing the amount from 2k/4k, to 4k/6k.

Boosters are okay, but there are some with no need for it (i.e. Prime Access purchasers). Resource Boosters are always great, though (especially with Kuva around).

All in all, veterans are gonna get grumpy over series of Nitain > Affinity Booster > 4k Endo > Nitain > Forma > Exilus Adapter Blueprint > Forma.

  11. Ran JV few times recently. And, as it stands, it's... a buggy mess alright. Two fatal bugs that I absolutely have to mention, are 1) when enemies would straight up not spawn, thereby making the mission impossible to do without Atlas' Rumblers and 2) spawning people without the Archwing. 2nd bug is a huge inconvenience and 1st one straight up fails the run if your team does not have Atlas. It's that bad. Supposedly the second bug was fixed, reading the patch notes - but it didn't. I still consistently spawn in without Archwing in the 3rd mission, and it makes the spore runs unbearable to do. I do get it back, however, after going through the first tunnel and escaping after hitting the nerve. At least there's that.

The fact that JV is riddled with bugs isn't helping the Arcane Market, either. Prices of desirable Arcanes such as Arcane Energize and Arcane Aegis - have gone up as result of people simply not wanting to run JV. I feel as if Raids really need to be revisited, as it is veterans' daily. Many people run Sorties, three Raids, and then.. they look at the alerts, to see if anything interesting has come up, and they occasionally farm relics and open them. Bugless JV would encourage people to try JV more, and that's a good thing. More people will stick around the game to delve into the mechanics of Arcanes, helping the longevity of the game in the long run.
