  1. The Baro Ki'Teer sentinel headpeace is actually pretty sweet looking. Similar triangular bit but flat with an energy projection in front. This kubrow armor looks like a cross between animal abuse and some crap from Hell raiser.

    Confirming it works with w/ any frame and there doesn't seem to be any connection between Limbo's Rift and the mod despite the description. 

  3. Anyone try Rift Strike on Ivara while Prowling or Loki while invisible? Got dropped one by Kela. Considering rushing the construction of a twin basolk just to test this. I'm into beserker builds and even my dual ichors are built for speed, but a primarily ele proc weapon? Why not. The stealth kill mechanics being as they are, it shouldn't really matter how it's spec'd so I'm excited. Will gladly report back on #NightcrawlerFrame if I'm successful testing this. :)

    I agree with this exactly. I don't personally care what the ammo type is as I've never needed the pickups. But I do wish that aoe was better. Shred is a must. Hell maybe these improvements are topic worthy. :D Okay OP letting it rot. 

  5. Question along these lines, when using a Dread or Paris Prime I notice hitting against the edge of cover often hits the target behind it. Is that a form of innate punch through on those two bows already? Not using any punch through mods but I have run multishot ones in the past so it may be that.

    What's with you? This topic was about the OP's opinion. I agreed with his/her opinion and gave my opinion on older weapons available through the market. That was my opinion whether *you* agree with it or not. Your posts are coming off as antagonistic. I'm done responding to this potential drama pit.

    Level 40? Did I say remove every weapon in the game that doesn't instakill? I was basically agreeing with the OP on "changes," I was offering two possibilities for older items.

    Having just picked up the game recently after an extended break, I can say that low level gameplay doesn't last long. It isn't a stupid argument: reaching rank 30 on a frame (even having more than one frame) *and* advancing MR isn't time consuming in the slightest. 

    I realize that not all the weapons on the market can be outstanding. They shouldn't be. Choices are fun to have. But it seems to me that there are many entry level and/or older weapons that don't see buffs or have stats that reflect updates made to the game since their release. That's what my point was, I didn't mean to imply that they should outdo each other in terms damage/insta-kill. 

    @Nawtkool you make a good point with the base speed being what makes up for any damage difference with DZ compared to Ichors for instance. I'll try them again. :D

  8. I agree with this. I just made the multi-blade skin for the Dual Zorens (on an alert yesterday) and it looks awesome. I get the progression of the game and see how there's no real competition with things like Dual Ichors once one can craft them. There's few reasons to go back to market purchased melee after reaching a certain level. Plus, despite it being a single blade, everyone now carries a broken-war in their melee spot (and for good reason, it's the best IMO). But, like you Blood, I'd like to see some kind of buff or adjustments made to the Dual Zorens to keep them relevant.

    Many of those older weapons should either be put out of commission or buffed (I'm looking at you dual skana). Leaving them in game and/or attaching a plat price tag? It's like "pick a market melee, any one that looks cool, don't worry you'll only have it while you're new." Some may stink stat-wise but are still cool weapons of old. :)

  9. Nope. It seems to work as intended as an energy weapon (in my opinion anyway). The ammo capacity is amazing but it is offset by the default firing speed (obviously the default sucks, thankfully mods fix this). Considering it a sniper weapon because it's mostly used at a distance seems strange to me, it doesn't actually have a zoom and, unlike even a bow, a laser cannon doesn't seem to fit that meta for me. But I'm not a dev so my opinion on it probably doesn't matter, just a happy Nova + Opticor player.

  10. Bug - strange path-looking option in the ship's incubator segment.

    Game Version- 18.9.0

    Severity- extremely low

    Summary

    While accessing my incubator to create a new Kubrow, I noticed one of the options was "/Lotus/Language/Menu/Breeding" instead of just "Breeding." I'm not sure if this is actually a bug or it's meant to say that (for some reason unknown to me). I've only noticed this after the most recent update, 18.9.0. I've attempted to insert a screenshot but it's from a private Steam account so I hope it works.

  11. I agree, I hardly find myself checking in Darvo any more. Just the other day I saw dual vipers. :/ The plat discount is "wonderful" except you can get them free easily, he totally needs original stuff. While the casino/mini-games approach may not fit for Darvo in his current incarnation, I think it's an awesome idea to even scrap him all together and introduce something more rewarding like that. Akin to bounty hunter missions on SWTOR. With Baro giving unique rewards as of late, Darvo is in need of massive overhauls.

    I can't agree with this at all. As said in other posts by players in the past, Ivara isn't meant to compare with Loki or visa versa. Loki's invis is clearly great for speed stealth or persistent stealth runs (although, if designed right, you can be stealthed a lot of the time by combining this with efficiency mods and cloak arrows). 

    This ability (3- Prowl) is outstanding for quickly redirecting aggro, bunny hop/roll invisible travel through mobs and going effectively aggro and picking off enemies (from a network of dashlines over a control point? Invisible ownage). Another plus is the multiplicative headshot buff while prowling, combined with multishot and Artemis with a max intensity/str build and you have a powerful invisible combat frame able to clear rooms while never breaking stealth. The energy loss is negligible with good efficiency and I've found Ivara much stronger at dealing damage and providing sound support than my Loki.

    That isn't to diminish Loki outside of spy runs, he too has his strengths and weaknesses. Radial disarm+stealth builds on him are also great. But I personally consider the benefits of Prowl to be outstanding.

    I don't agree with your implication at all. It doesn't sound like a child's voice to me. But I suppose this is yet another cliff hanger to find out in the future, I guess we aren't supposed to know yet. As from other topics on the forum, it seems opinions differ a lot and nothing concrete yet. :)

  14. I did this with some clanmates on my Nova and, while I get that it didn't list any rewards, after an hour you would think there'd be a surprise reward. We were surprised that this was not the case. So I guess the whole surprise thing worked if that was the intended reaction. At least the jug and the eximus were fun. I may be exaggerating on the last part a little.

    Will do again next year if the clan master survives the depression, 11/10.

  15. Nearly forgot in my long lost initial post, Suda Syandanas. Will you please ensure the color flare effect after all scans performed somehow? Maybe for those people make the Syandana brighter like a standard Syandana if not max bright?

  16. A question on sentinel companions and fake companions like those assist you during Syndicate missions.

    Are there plans on overhauling or revisiting the way either of these two are setup? My issue is that sentinels are so weak that they're almost useless to bring to high level content. I realize at that level the focus is on player skill and ability but for a Dethcube fully packed with things like Redirection & Vitality should last a little longer than it does. My squishiest frame at a lower level can survive these missions better than a well equipped sentinel. So we have people professing love for the Carrier because, really, it's the only sentinel that adds something to the game (for me in Survival and Defense where I need those energy pickups).

    The second of those ties in with the first: the fake NPC/companions that accompany you on missions such as those for your Syndicate. Why have them at all? They clearly don't actually contribute in any meaningful way. Instead, when combined with the first issue, these seem like "blah" AIs that rarely help the player. I don't think companions/AI Aides should be a crutch, but they shouldn't be useless. If you want to give the feel of the Syndicate sending assistance, they should do more than run into walls and stand around. Example of better: I seem to recall the companions in Guild Wars doing more. Even if you had to rent them, I'd be cool with that.

    Lastly some new content for the Operator would be cool like clothing, facial adjustments, a skin with the metal facial elements *without* smudge. Since other players don't see the operator, maybe they can be resource/credit intensive rather than being sold for platinum.

    I love the way the game is so I'm not complaining, just some ideas that come to mind. :)

  18. I get why they're being taken back. Has anyone seen relays during peek times? You can barely see the other end of the room if standing in the center area: the bunny ears clutter everything. I don't really care either way. They're really cute as a holiday trinket but there's no way they're going to let everyone walk around with two huge white and pink things on their head. Syandanas aren't obtrusive, the ears are slightly and simply don't fit the game.

    I will say that it also makes sense based on the quality of the ears. They're fun for Easter but their quality and texture doesn't match up to any long term items in-game. It's obvious to me that they were never meant to be kept based on this factor alone.

    Would keeping them be cool? Sure. They rock on my Equinox but I "get it" and it's not that big of a deal.

  19. Synopsis:

    When creating single ciphers using the single cipher BP and the foundry option on Warframe for Android (v. 3.1.2.4), it's possible to seemingly create more than one cipher at once (in actuality only 1 cipher will be redeemed regardless of how many erroneous entries exist and are "claimed").

    Replication:

    The best way to see this issue in action is to use the search function for "cipher," craft the cipher, and prior to the build screen refreshing, hit the "build" button again (this works during the brief refresh, pressing the area where the button would be if the screen wasn't briefly refreshing). It'll appear as more than one cipher being produced but this does not exploit the system. A single cipher at a time is being produced despite inaccurate reporting.

    The issue is seemingly glitch in the Android app or UI and not in the app's foundry mechanic. Example, I had 22 ciphers prior to crafting and only 23 when complete despite the app reporting otherwise and asking me to claim more than one.
