I say give excalibur a 30-40% ability casting for 1,2,3 when exalted blade is active as all abilities use that blade of pure light

Well for Radial Howl, with the slide attack function while Exailted Blade is out, in general it does help that one cast faster even if it's at a smaller radius., I do dislike how the animation slows down the movement of the spin attack, however atleast those close to you wont do much while blinded. Didn't ever like the spin attack on Vemillion Storm for that very reason. Just always seemed to hurt the fluenity of moment in that aspect. Maybe it might benfit more from turning it into a Loki disarm motion, or like Four Riders slide attack. As for Slash Dash, that might be feesiable, though I think the immunity to damage you recieve wouldn't matter as much in that instance as it currently does. Since movement effects accuracy then it's possible that the activation increase would cause momentum to increase, inturn you aren't immuned to damage but rather missed by most of it. This is why I think increasing the ability cast for it might conflict with the current immunity.

  2. The only problems I've come across in it's current form is that the aim glide toggles you out of your melee weapon to the previous weapon you had equiped... I believe that the aim glide, or in this case the block glide shouldn't cause you to switch weapons. It would be much better to jump at an enemy and block glide towards them, especially when needing to clear farther gaps and such. In my opinion this hurts the fluenity of the parkor and new melee changes that are overall ideal. I'm also still partial to the original 1.0 melee charge attack, to where you can pick and choice when you want to release the charge. It would help increase the use of it, as you can predetermine it's execution. This might reqired looking at slide attack damage verses charge attack damage, as those might get left out if not properly balanced either way. The current melee channeling that is "going to be removed" per here say, is going to hurt fasion frame in my personal opinion. I think that a solution to this is that those effect remain on when your combo counter is active and deactive when it does. I'd still like to see a toggleable channeling, but if it's being removed atleast this way when you switch to your gun you can tell and visually keep track of when you need to use a melee attack to keep it going. That being the case attaching the current channeling effects to the combo counter duration seems ideal. This is all the ideas I have at the moment and will do further testing to see if other things present themselves. Keep up the extordinary work.

  3. Excalibur's Radial Javelin would benifit from a faster activation while Exalted Blade is active. It seems most logical, that it would take less time to perform Radial Javelin, because the Exalted Blade is already prepared and ready for use.

Unfortunately, Ordis is very important for many quests (Limbo, Archwing, The War Within, shows up in Second Dream, Stolen Dreams) so replacing him with another Cephalon would mean all of those lines would need to rerecorded for any Cephalon added for ships. Also, if you've read his story, it explains why he is broken, but the long and short of it is that he has a very tragic story that raises more questions than it answers so his nature makes sense.

That's not necessarily the case. Suda, Simarus, and Jordas can establish a direct link to your warframe at any given time. What's to stop Ordis from helping the operator as he is indebted to the operator's generosity for letting him branch out repairing and expand his knowledge, as the steward of the sanctuary by Simarus's side. I feel Apnar would be the best as there is no other cephalon as free as the wind who enjoys being a captive.

  5. That concludes my rant on being a founder, Feel free to brainstorm, question, and enjoy the conversation. Do leave the salt out of it, as nothing will ever get done without a calm and collected outlook.

PS: I am very dyslexic, so I edit my post a lot. If you are reading this go back and reread all of my previous posts as they have probably be added to or proofed. They should be well enough alone now. I apologize for short comings.

  6. Let me reiterate what the the founder package and migration in tell to, as to clear up the confusion. It isn't talked about because console players are salted, and some, not all, PC players have a strong arrogance of entitlement seasoned with a bit of salt.

    Founders

1 extra extractor can be deployed (kept on migration to console)

1 extra load out to save (kept on migration to console)

2 extra trades a day (kept on migration to console)

Access to the Council Chat tab (was eventually removed from console, thank god, who wants to talk to a PC elitist, I suppose console whiners aren't much better though.)

Access to the Design Council on forums (only PC account hold this perk?)

A solar landmark node where the Lotus basks in your blinding Tenno aura. (don't think it was kept in migration would need testing)

Founder Emblem, which is related to purchased tier, you get your current tier and all below it. (kept on migration to console)

Founder Sigil, which matches your founder tier (currently unavailable on console, and what brought about this thread, on a side note I think it'd be nice if it functions as the founder emblem, so four total not just one, giving you the current tier and all before)

Excalibur, Lato, and Skana Prime (mastery rank affinity kept on migration, access restricted same as alpha and beta weapons Lato and Braton Vandel PC exclusives)

On a side note any weapon not used after migration doesn't show as 100% complete in profile, you have to equip it and complete one mission for it to update that weapon in profile.

I just wanted to know about the solar land mark and founder sigil on console, as no matter how many solutions I come up with for the release of Excalibur Prime Access, the same reason is regurgitated "I spend money on them". So, with one last time fanning the flame of that pyramid of salt, give all the Founders, console migrators and PC loyalest, a full Grand Master Attachment set, Syadana, shoulder plates, cuirass, greaves, and yes even auxiliary. Being greedy would be asking for a universal sentinel Para prime set. I wouldn't do that to my fellow tenno that just happened to miss out. That's just wrong. After this has been decided upon and the hamsters put on it, release Excalibur Prime access without any accessory pack, no farming, no trading, through purchase only, and only for console, PC had thier chance, less you want spoon feed the demanding children. All arguments null and void.... they are only getting the warframe weapons and discounted platinum, none of the perks, possible Excalibur Prime Glyph for profile. It is my strong opinion anything that grants mastery rank affinity shouldn't be exclusive and is my sole argument on this topic. So, even make the Braton and Lato Vandel obtainable and grant those awesome alpha and beta testers that went through all that grit something exclusive only they can Fashion frame. -End Line-

PS: Do multiple attachment set designs that all, and only, the Founders can poll on. Cause honestly who doesn't think the Targis Prime set isn't the coolest. ( I'd really like to know) I have faith in the polls, I'm sure we will wait as long as it takes... but for the love of god, don't let that Excalibur master race console player never know what it's like to see a full squad of Primes.... He is your poster child is he not? Yet you are limiting access to him, that doesn't make much since and seems very counter productive.

The squad load out would look something like this forever on console.....

Excalibur     Trinity Prime                Mesa Prime                              Equinox Prime

Lato             Aklex Prime                 Akmagus Prime                        Akvasto Prime

Skana          Dual Kama Prime        Ether Dagger Prime                 Dual Skana Prime

    Very Very Sad...

So much for the poster child favorite getting special treatment....

Emblems are still founder exclusive, that's why it's not on your profile on console since it's part of founder packs.

They are not exclusive as I've already stated only warframes and weapons were. DE even specifically said during migration period that you would be able to keep everything and only lose access to the useage of Excalibur Lato and Skana Prime as well as Braton and Lato Vandel, as they where founder alpha and beta weapons exclusive to PC, so level then up before migration as you keep the mastery affinity and wont have access to them after the fact..

It's still a Founder Exclusive, and sadly founders stuff can't be on consoles regardless of migration.

This is not accurate. It says I'm founder in profile and lets me equip my founder emblem. Exclusives were only held to the Warframe and Weapons usage ex. Lato and Braton Vandel also fall under PC Exclusives with Excalibur Lato and Skana Prime. Cosmetics are vanity and are, or should, be excluded from this scrutiny.

  9. Is it possile to add founder sigils onto console versions for the people that migrated? I waited awhile to see if it was just a late implementation, but alas to no avail. It's not like I want to rub it in anyone's face, but you let us keep our badge emblems and haven't heard anyone complain about that, just Excalibur Lato and Skana Prime, which in all fairness they didn't have a shot at 'em... I'd also like to hear Lotus being honored to be in my presence yet again.

PS: That doesn't mean remove my founder emblem badge because I brought it out of the Umbra...

  10. In the end, I just can't understand or see why Fireball shouldn't be allowed to self proc heat, it use to be able to do this. Currently, even with/without "Snapshotting", it's meta to turn on World on Fire and never deactivated it, less it's unintentional. So to self proc heat wouldn't make much of a difference, or it to powerful of a passive. If you're using World on Fire, you are set up for it. It will take it a long time to wear off, if that is even possible, especially if enemies are dropping energy like they currently do. To self proc heat would actually cause your World on Fire to wear off faster with the use of Fireball. It would only increase the energy drain further to get a 35% increase on Accelerant. It is true that this will cause an increase to damage, but also true it will cause your World on Fire to wear off faster, as you are using energy bursts to increase damage output draining your energy reserves more quickly. If you where trying to truly synergize all of her abilities correctly, energy use would go well beyond what would be possible when using Fire Blast, as the damage increase would probably make the energy consumption more viable since this scales really well and adds an instant crowd control mechanic. This is all a side from the fact that the energy restore effect, granted by Ignition, is being nullified while a channeling ability is active. It's possible this is to much of Advance or Quantum Physics for some to understand the mechanics of.

To summarize, it's a contradiction to say "Snapshotting" would make this to powerful of a passive if the possibility to self proc heat with Fireball is in existence. World on Fire is never turned off, if it can be helped. On top of that you are using more energy to channel an increase to power and stabilize the effect. Which is currently how every single corrupted mod functions and seems pretty simplistic to me. The only theory that makes any sense is that "Snapshotting" itself is what's overpowered, not the self proc of heat which causes the passive to trigger. To trigger the passive, with FIreball, would require more energy to accomplish and possibly more time wasted effectively dropping damage per second. This is all on to of it completely going against the description. Carefully read between the asterisk(*) symbols and what is underlined, as it's a total contradiction to what was stated as an "Intentional Mechanic".

    Ember's Passive: Ignition

Per Wikia: Ember is empowered by flames. Any time Ember suffers a Heat proc, she gains 35% Power Strength **for the duration** and regenerates 10 points of Energy for every second she is ablaze.

Per In-game: Regenerates Energy and deals more damage **while on fire**.

Personally, I think "Snapshotting" should be removed from everything that is timer related, when such said time expires, as that is to overpowered and seems more like a exploited bug that people would get salted at if removed, so DE made it into an "Intended bug" and "Intentional Mechanic".

Well you are using energy... so you deserve to at least get something for the cost. It's all about alchemy right, there must be something of equivalent exchange, else why would you even use the energy, without gaining something deemed worthy. The Iron Skin is taking the blunt impact of all the damage, so the Rhino itself isn't technically being effected by it.

Further regarding combo-casting, the Accelerant ability to increase casting speed would incentivise multiple casting. However the barrier that I have found, currently, is that Fireball still has a slight cooldown, so the casting speed increase gained from Accelerant is trivial.

Well, it was to my knowledge that casting speed didn't effect Fireball in general. I know Natural Talent and Speed Drift do not, so I was assuming that Accelerant didn't effect it either. It would take some testing, but I believe the increased casting time created by Accelerant doesn't effect Fireball.

  13. The only good thing about the current Blade Storm is the fact squad members can attack it's marked targets. It is in my opinion that this rework is a step back from the idea that was first presented not a step forward. If the press 4 to win was compared to this current marking target system it would be on the complete opposite spectrum. They both are horrible regardless of how many time you can mark a target. Was nothing learned from Nekros' desecrate rework? Having to constantly do something in a fast paced game is counter productive and the main problem with marking enemies with Blade Storm.

  14. If you take what everyone has to say, how hard is it to change it. Blade Storm takes 25 energy to activate and drains 3 Energy per second, up to possibly 15 per second like Mesa's Peacemaker. Blade Storm draws out clones that attack any enemy within line of sight, causing a stagger lock that opens up enemies to finishers for any squad member. This makes since because the enemy is to busy with the clone to realize you are attacking it. The clone's attack by passes all forms of armor. The use of the clones lets Ash roam freely and with a Convert Lethality. I'm that Ember player and I wishes my World on Fire worked like this... set the bar here and raise everyone else to it. What was that about Accelerant opening up finishers? Pssh... please, I still think Overheat would be a better implementation for end game. This isn't overpowered, this is where we should be if DE, by an act of god, stops nerfing us while continuing to buff the enemies. Why would it be a bad thing to overpower us when scaling like Mot exists? On a side note, there are plenty of things that are unique, yet similar to other things.

Just about every MMO uses snapshotting.  And are you sure that focus ability doesn't?  I know free cast charm doesn't, but that's because it just actively refunds everything spent, including channeled.  It's not changing your base power stats.  Override does change your stats so if you aren't max efficiency you SHOULD be able to lower a channel with it.  No it is not a bug.  It is very much intended as it is in most other games.  It's a mechanic for you to understand and work with.

It is a mechanic timer that is exploited and shouldn't exist, thus a bug.

I don't see why. I think it would bring some respectability to the frames. I can't really take frost seriously when he slow down because he gets to cold, I mean come on, he is venting refrigerant constantly.

Plus, you have frames like Rhino that have 100% immunity to all status ailments just by casting iron skin,

I just don't see anything having 100% immunity to something, though I do see it possible for them not being effect as harshly as others. As for Rhino's Iron skin it's at the cost of energy, so receiving something for this is understandable. This is just my opinion and I apologize for that. You do have the right to disagree, and more power to anyone that does, as it helps with balancing and implementing ideas that could otherwise not be possible.

On ‎11‎/‎26‎/‎2016 at 0:32 AM, Callback said:

You seem to not understand snapshotting.  Channeled abilities take your power stats at the time of casting, and hold them for the full duration.  Equinox' rage, energy conversion, and Ember's passive are all examples of temporary power strength buffs.  If you activate any of them then cast a channeled ability like WoF, the increased power is kept through the entire duration until it is deactivated, regardless of whether or not the buffs are maintained.

This is why allowing Ember to proc it even ONCE on every mission would basically just be a free 50% power strength mod built into her.  That's WAY too strong for a passive compared to any other frame.  Keeping it as a rare situational thing allows it to be that strong.  Having a reliable way to proc it (granted you CAN keep a low damage explosive weapon on hand to do it to yourself) would be too much.  Even that example at least imparts a significant cost (sacrificing that weapon slot).

It's a 35% power strength increase, and "snapshotting" is a development error and needs to be corrected. This "snapshotting" as you call it, shouldn't even exist if it doesn't function for everything, like say Systemic Override passive on Zenurik school, so it's not like it's impossible to change when there is proof right there it can be removed. I will agree with the fact that if this is present the point is valid, however this is just a straight up exploit and ill relevant in my personal opinion as it will always be active, like you said, anyway, so in my opinion null and void. Add on top of that the fact it's a contradiction because if you fall of the map you will have to recast it losing the effect, if Stalker dispels you it will void it also losing the effect, and if you run into a nullifier bubble it will deactivate it canceling the effect. Sounds to me like an exploit for it already exists and is being abused when able. It seems like someone has forgotten yet another bug that is in existence, or just hasn't gotten around to addressing it as of yet. Snapshotting isn't logical to begin with and just a horrible error that shouldn't have been gotten use to or relied on in the first place, as it's effecting the balance of the game in my opinion. It is sad that something so broken is an "intended" bug because if it's removed people will be salted, so DE hands out that bottle like good parents. The only ways "Snapshotting" should function is mod related and/or not on a timer, such as Energy Conversion. It can't be said that a buff shouldn't, or can't, be removed when the timer expires, even if it is a debuff, this just makes absolutely no sense and an exploit on channeling abilities that should be address.
