  1. Was the energy cost change to archwing skill accidental or on purpose? The notes only mention affinity rates, not the energy cost.

     

    I bring this up, because with repel costing 100 energy and the new autocap rules applying to archwing interception uranus is 99% unbeatable.

     

    Hell, even earth interception is crazy boring now. Also, while haven't played with it yet; Not having hitscan on the highly antcipated railgun is a HUGE oversight, but I can't truly know till I seeit in action  or try it. I was tempted to spend the plat on it untill I saw it wasnt hitscan.

  2. Wow, the LOS nerfs on excal and mag are savage overkill. Excalibur, the poster boy of WF is back to being the lowest of tiers, and has only his super jump buff to show for radial blind nerfs. Mag now has her best skill gutted in a huge way.

     

    The radio silence on viver, rep farm in general, and these balance changes has gone on way too long. I'm as happy as the next for space railgun, but Please Please Please address this issue before it costs more and more players. All these low and new players are beign punished because endgame players and min maxers are using all the power we've built up to be very efficent at farming.

     

    Lower and mid game players are the ones who will hurt from these changes, not the ones farming viver.  Mag as a starter frame is less viable, excal even more so. They will have groups wiping because they run out to get mods they are worried about losing, or just out right lose the mods. 

     

    Get ready for some saltiness in recruiting chat.

  3. i doubt you'll ever get over 50 mods in a single round of interception or defense, survival... maybe with drop boosters since it doesn't have a "pause"

    My average per round of viver was 200-300mods without a nekros. While it would cause framerate drop for sure esp. when looting them, there are many other solution then a hard cap. I feel bad for people running hr+ survivals or 25 wave+ defenses more than people running viver. Mods were always a bonus, rep is the main focus.

  4. I think a cap of 50 mods is way too low for survival/interception/def. 100-150 sound a little more fair but that may not have the performance impact some people wanted.

     

    I forsee a lot of pugs dieing in def/surv/etc to " I gotta go loot those mods before they despawn!"

     

    At the very least can we get a priority order for mod space on map so fusion cores and rare mods stay compared to ammo drums, etc?

    Yeah, thats way less than you used to get for 8 rounds, and I would only assume locking 1 point for 8 rounds would make the run absurdly long, and waste crazy amount of weapon XP. Also, duo'ing it after your other two left cost you rep aswell, just a heads up.

    rep per minute matters

    Not sure if you arejust being semantical or what, but distigushing from rep per min and rep per wave doesnt mean anything. You are still gonna get the same total rep per run, assuming you are stalling the wave by capping only 1 point. I gave my figures in rep per wave because that is what I have seen everyone else use when discussing viver.

    Ok so these findings aren't 100% as I didn't have an affinity booster on and our mag forgot their natural talent, so I'm rounding up a bit and guessing. I will report back with proper numbers later tonight when I have more testing time.

     

    The point locations have been spread out, and point D elevated. I assume to promote more moving and less afk ability spamming. It makes the "xp farm lock" slighty harder to set up, but does not kill the node or make it unplayable so I'm not super bothered by it. The new enemy/map changes did seem to lower the overall xp/rep gained per round but not by as huge a margin as the last two changes I was told about

     

    I was told by clanmates that 4 proper rounds of Viver was giving around 21k rep, and that it was lowered to around 15k, then 8kish we were getting yesterday. (these numbers are word of mouth so I correct me if I'm wrong.)

     

    With the new changes to viver, I think it would be balanced and reasonable to up the rep nubmer back up closer to the original 21k, now that it is less afk ability spam and move involved. anything around 12-15k rep with a booster seems fair to me, as players without affinity boosters can still feel rewarded and happy farming out reputation this way.

  8. I believe the change addresses the ability to AFK due to spawning being predictable and points being so close together you didn't have to move.

    Ok as long as it wasn't a change to xp numbers or spawn rates I don't think everyone will riot. Gonna go test it now^^

  9. My odds are slim at page 20, and this may have been asked in thread already.

     

    I love update 9 to death, so my question is is there an inbound Nexus app update any time soon? I keep missing my Vauban systems cause the alert wont ring for him. I'm sure other Tennos want an updated helmet list on the app aswell.

     

    I also thought the idea of mod fusing/shuffles worked into the nexus app would be awesome, I remember Steve dicussing that in livestream 7 I think. Any updates on that or Nexus app in general?

     

    Oh, and a follow up question; for Steve

     

    Why is there a shadow squad of 4 DE_steves following me in my UI after this last hotfix?

  10. Very nice set of quick hotfixes. For all the people asking for the bladestorm fix, it will probably come once they've improved the bladestorm animations like they discussed in the last livestream. I would think the fix would be something they are aware of with all the work they are doing on making ash ult look like it did in the e3 trailer.
