  1. Alright. I've given the changes a little over a week to give it a fair shake and chance. Unfortunately, the conclusion I have come to is the same opinion I had before the "fixes" to the original nerf: his nerf should be reverted the rest of the way. Yes the higher overguard regen offets the raw gain loss somewhat (still an unnecessary nerf, especially with the rage changes), and the pageflight functionality being back is nice (though why did it even get touched to begin with?), but the Tragedy nerf has got to go, seriously. Line of sight on Tragedy just feels terrible, regardless of how 'good' the line of sight check gets. Part of the appeal was the team synergy aspect of it, which is to say cashing in on the statuses the rest of the squad might be building up. Another thing was being able to cast dark verse on the move, and cash it in regardless of being in the same room you were casting in before or not. Tragedy no longer has "the largest radius in the game" if it can't go through walls, so you're no longer incentivized to max or go very high in range if you can't make use of that range either. If the issue is that it can kill early planet regular path enemies without building up statuses, just remove the built in damage of it and leave the damage mult of statuses alone, it really doesn't need to do damage by itself anyways, just please remove the line of sight check from it. As an aside, since you did not in fact "listen to the community", as the large majority wanted a full revert and the most we got was a bit of a backpedal and a sidegrade, and nothing more, don't be surprised if people stop spending money as easily on the game for a while, I know I sure as hell won't for at least a year, maybe longer. Because that's what burning good will does, it makes us not as willing to buy the new shiny or want to support you as much. And if this is the treatment a decent frame gets so soon after launch I genuinely don't care what state Jade is in when she comes out, because you'll probably crush her too under the nerf hammer, and I'd rather not get burned again after investing in something I so truly enjoyed.
  2. You guys love to claim that you listen to the community, but you've been proving more and more lately that you in fact do not, revert the nerfs to Dante for God's sake, most of the last thread was asking you guys to roll them back and I'm sure most of this one is too. It's S#&$ like this that causes our faith in you to crumble. Don't just give in when a vocal minority cries about something, and then when the majority rolls in to tell you that you screwed up ignore them?!?
  3. How about, ya know, you just revert the whole damn nerf entirely? If you have to nerf the overguard somehow, do the cap instead of the gain, but he didn't deserve any of the changes he got
  4. Everyone focusing on the tragedy nerfs, which while I agree with the LoS being a horrid change to make, I'm more upset about the overguard nerfs. It feels so trash now, it takes so much to get up to cap I'd rather they reduced the cap overall rather than the gain rate. Waste of my time and forma, DE finally releases a frame I fall in love with and he's dead before a week has passed. I swear this S#&$ is gonna drive me to quitting, never mind how annoying deep archimedea is, that's a whole 'nother conversation.
  5. Tap/hold would be the best, but as far as the helminth nerf goes maybe do so in a different way, rather than just lowering the numbers further? Such as reducing the starting numbers for the damage buff and damage reduction from 150% and 75% cap, respectively, to something like 60%-80% buff capped at 200% and 30%-40% reduction with the cap raised to 90/95? That way it would require a ton of strength investment to get anything usable out of it, but still be worth using at all. If you just reduce the numbers on the damage buff it would be one thing, but reducing the DR any further from the already barely usable 75% is rather ridiculous. And please for the love of God and all that is holy do not reduce the duration, that just sucks and would feel awful.
  6. Even with them being recoverable, this is still an enormous bonehead move that makes zero sense. If it's just gonna be "as before, but less variety" and also more annoying to recover you might as well not make the change at all. The whole point as originally stated was a fast track easy way to earn extra standing each week, but couldn't be backlogged until later, and that was a brilliant change; but to then replace other acts, even if they are still recoverable, is just plain stupid. Why waste the dev time implementing a nothing burger change, with a side of disappointment, I just don't get it. Also never mind the month of communication of it being the good way, or the fact that you waited until after it was out before saying anything, or saying crap like "return to form" even though this is never how it was. Just snatching defeat from the jaws of victory all around this situation, was the easiest W you could've taken, absolutely nonsensical.
  7. Don't you guys dare #*!% this up, this is the stupidest decision I've heard of from you guys in recent, and I'm still holding out hope that it's just a miscommunication. Seriously, this is pure idiocy to actually remove 3 of them, instead of in addition, like all of the wording said before today. This is purely worse if it's actually what is intended: removing variety, reducing how much you can catch up with, and relying on fomo to drive player numbers, are all scummy things to do.
  8. As long as you respect the price that it would be for how much they get out of it, you remain highly open to feedback throughout the whole process, and respect some of the story beats that feel very necessary to the overall spirit of the game, I am not opposed to it being implemented. My personal preference would be for it to barely be pushed at all, to be a last resort/last ditch effort to get people into the current patch of the game, not a main avenue of approach, or that isn't advertised readily, as I think anyone who would be willing to go through the actual game, should, but I know that path isn't for everyone
