Stop smart assing and take a second to look at the Tusk Ogma's codex entry,or any dropship in the plains. That Ogma has bombard levels of armor and 15 times its hp as base value.
Tusk Ogma 450 armor 4500 hp
    Tusk Firblog 600 armor 8000hp
    Tusk Bolkor 600 armor 10000hp

    and those are BASE values

It's a armored flying vehicle not a ground infantry of course it's stats are going to be far superior. The idea that people want weak armored vehicles or expected them to have similar life/armor as regular ground grunts is crazy.

  2. No.

Just not a fun or entertaining way to play the game. They are kind of a drag.  I greatly dislike their movement, how fragile they are, and how over all weak they are. Then there is the fact that they are kids. I hate anytime they have dialogue in a quest, so cringey.

Only useful for activating passives imo.

The best thing I can say about them is that they are optional and can just be ignored.

So for all our weapons we have mods that are forced to be in there. For assault rifles/snipers/bows we have serration and split chamber plus at least two elemental mods. If you want more status/crit then you need at least two more elemental mods/point strike and vital sense. This leaves two mods slots open.

Shotguns are the same as rifles.

Pistols are worse. You need hornet strike, barrel diffusion, and lethal torrent as well as well as the pistol equivalent mods of the rifle mods stated above. Leaving just one spot open for extra mods.

Most guns people tend to put fire rate, reload, or punch through to make these guns feel better.

Get where I'm getting at? We don't have enough slots for mods due to the mods necessary to deal damage. While yes there are some exceptions to the mods and what's needed listed above they are few and far in between.

How about we finally add increasing damage/multishot as you level a gun up to help open up more slots for the new mods.

None of these multi shot mods are required. I can see an argument being made for Split Chamber and Barrel Diffusion (would still disagree) but Lethal Torrent is one of the if not most overrated mods in the game.

It's called wasd, and that's only the bare-bones basic answer to the problem you're describing.  To wit;  We can cover a little over 60 meters in a single bullet jump combo.  This means that 500 meters traversed is under 10 maximized jumps.

Being 500 meters away from an enemy unit means you're essentially 99.9% safe from all counter actions from them.  Forcing a sniper player to actually close for loot is the caveat that keeps the player grounded and also rewards them for using a well-rounded loadout.  Use a sniper to take out the most threatening targets (while closing distance if you're a good shot) and then utilize a secondary while you're in closer range.  Then utilizing melee to mop up at point blank if so desired.

Giving everyone auto-free loot forever means everyone just staying a mile away from enemies, in relatively perfect safety, popping enemy units without any real chance of failure.  For anyone who hasn't yet bothered properly forma'ing a sniper rifle.  Their damage is obscenely high, and the incoming buffs will improve some of them outright, with the combo buffs and innate punch through making them all far, far stronger in a drawn out fight.  Were the sniper user to get all ammo drops instantly delivered unto them during a skirmish, they'd basically be able to turn Warframe into a point and click adventure game.

We were given Parkour 2.0 for a reason, use it.

This right here should be the official answer to this question.

There are 2 quests based around the concept of your operator now, both of which were the most lore intensive of any before. It will start off at the end, as all things do, and work its way into your regularly scheduled program like  an add with a catchy yet annoying jingle. You'd bet after spending all that money and resources on a big reveal and then fleshing it out, they won't just drop the concept where it is.

I'm not suggesting that they drop it I just found the claim that they are integral to gameplay a bit odd as up to this point they can be outright ignored. Maybe after the Plains of Eidolon hits it'll be different.

Sorry, but DE had made Operators an integral part of both the story and gameplay.

What part of gameplay is integral that requires the operator? I can only think of two things in the game that use them and neither are what I would call integral. Both being niche resource gathering and a just as niche quest roles.

First, fashion and more generally design is an important point in any game. I think you wouldn't have started to play warframe if the game was low poly with 16px textures and a medieval design with goblins and orcs...

I actually daydream quite often about a spin off reskinned medieval version of warframe with all the traditional races. Sounds pretty sweet to me.

Simple, because many players think Fashionframe is endgame. It is what it is in this community so don't hope for big changes anytime soon.

    That's exactly why I said:

  9. This community for whatever reason hates the idea of anything that alters stats being attached to anything that can be seen. You'll never get this idea to fly in this community. They have a odd view that if a cosmetic has any form of stat altering bonus that it is required/they are forced to use it. Arcanes are interchangeable between helmets and syndanas yet there are threads all the time asking for them to be removed from them so as to not have stats linked to cosmetics. I personally agree with you that it would be awesome if our armor pieces actually meant something in the form of stat bonuses but this group here would never let that happen. I don't get it but do understand that's just how it is around here.
