It's upsetting because she's already one of my mains, I haven't really managed to play warframe much since this slap in the face, I've made more progress than usual on Helldivers so at least I had something to play. But I want to play Warframe, I want to play my wizard boi and know his fun nuke trigger ability won't be blocked by a table or the air.

I am once again here asking for Dante to be made whole again, saw the new Protea prime access and I've been excited for that release since I came back to the game again and just felt melancholy. When is her nerf coming? Why should I do anything in the game when my progress is meaningless, where I'm punished for doing well and investing my time into the game so when a new frame comes out I have the tools to make use of it. I get it it's hard to admit you're wrong, but LoS sucks. It just does. The game does not handle it well. Give me back the frame I invested my time and money into he was fun and he was fine.

Give me back the Dante I built that was fun and not even in my top 10 most powerful frames so I can be a cool wizard again

So thoughts pre nerf, he was fine. He wasn't my strongest frame after being fully built out with prime mods, archon shards, rank 5 arcanes (even did a grind to get a new one I hadn't had a need for and was fun to work into a new build, made me think about my other builds); I don't even think I could put him in the top 10, my half built wisp out performed him and was way more casual, Protea out performed in damage maybe not survivability, Frost out performs even with his slow build up, recently completed styanax build outperforms him, Rev outperforms him and I haven't finished that build either. But he's fun I like summoning the birds, increasing status damage gives me a reason to think about ways to apply loads of status before Tragedy, I wish the book final verse did more like autocast the alt fire when it expired with 10% of the strength and buffs applied from tome mods so it can let you benefit at all from the tome given the other 3 abilities can't be subsumed over without killing his whole vibe. Tragedy is super satisfying to cast it's such an interesting interaction between it and everything else I'm doing and even my allies status can be affected really helps me do any damage at all that's not a gun. I need to watch mine and my allies overguard since I'm technically a support that happens to do some good damage with my friends. Post nerf, what is the point of even casting overguard. Enemies over level 50 can strip my entire energy pool of overguard in like 20 seconds and then I'm out of the fight and I can't cast anything else. The birds are useless but look cool I guess, they buffed the book? That didn't do much compared to being a fun full caster build imho so maybe there's something there? Tragedy is okay maybe? Idk hard to tell since I can't really do damage if I want to keep overguard up. I guess if I'm in regular path circuit and like level 20-30 missions I could run Dante for style but he brings nothing to any mission other than some flavor. Glad I spent a week grinding arcanes, installed archon shards, and leveled mods for him because even if he wasn't my best frame he was usable in hard-ish content and had a great theme/vibe --- The book needed buffs to give him an alternate build that was usable without a singlular weapon/arcane choice (I'm sure we all saw the video it was pretty cool), the book ult definitely needed buffs there was a never a reason to cast it. WHY NERF THE BIRDS, the birds were such a cool and unique to him interaction. Even if he did nothing else increasing status damage was such a cool icing on top feature where I'd be making sure the birds were up just for that interaction because I could help the whole team do damage. If rage and similar mods were the concern then make them cap overguard gained to a max of 1k or something with that mod equipped. Change THEIR interaction with overguard, I can now apply more overguard with styanax who's been here the whole time and frost than dante with more energy efficiency. He is an end game frame and he didn't even have time for the warframe choices to stabilize after his release he just got nerfed so hard I get annoyed when I do get to play this game and just leave to play hell divers or work on my other hobbies. I didn't play dante because he was my strongest, I didn't play him because he was my easiest, I played him because he was genuinely pretty cool, now I still think he's cool but I literally can't play him. He was fine, changing the rage mods would help those builds energy econ with other frames in their squad as well.
