  1. I somewhat recently upgrade my normal Boltor with an incarnon adapter, followed by doing the first challenge with no issue as per usual. However, when I tried to do the second challenge of "kill 100 enemies with this weapon's incarnon form", it won't progress, despite me following the condition. What makes it even more strange is that the challenge doesn't even pop up in the challenge menu, in-mission wise. I even tried to change the first incarnon upgrade node, to see if that would change anything, but nope; same issue.

Have no idea what might causes this. Something is broken code wise.

Might add that I haven't tried to do said challenge as the host of a squad or solo, but that shouldn't matter normally.

Edit 1: I tried to start a mission solo and suddenly the incarnon challenge UI element appeared. How peculiar. Also tried to kill some enemies with the incarnon form and now it actually count up. Very strange

  2. So here I was, wanting to try the amalgam javlok mod with Javlok and Silvia & Aegis (non-prime). I go into melee mode and without doing anything and looking at the enemies, I expect the shield to auto block, but nope; no auto blocking is happening here. My warfame is just "meh, I don't feel like to block at all"

I haven't tried with other shields as of this post, but so far; it has only happen with Silvia and Aegis.

Edit: It seemed to work when in simulacrum (Which makes me believe that this is a sync issue as it seem to work when I'm the host)

Edit 2: Can confirm that this bug appear on other shields and when I'm not the host.

  3. Sometime later of aimlessly walking around, Lupus managed to spot a big enough seating area for him. It didn't help that much that most of the people look at him with odd looks on their face or at least those you could see their faces. When he eventually got there, he carefully stepped on the sitting area, turned around so he faced away from the table and squatted on the spot. He liked to call his current pose "the sneaky moa" because he thought it look rather silly when he saw other moa's squat and walk at the same time.

  4. Hello darkness my old friend, I have come to talk with you again...

Here I am, waiting for people to reply on the IC thread as I don't want the rp to die out. Specially since I managed to finish my character after spending quite some time making it. Most of you are probably busy with getting ready for the holiday and that's fine. I guess I will still keep an eye out until someone replies.

  5. Once Lupus was done with the small talk with the hooded Tenno and the normal looking human, he continued into the room where a lot of people had gathered.

When he took his first steps into the buffet room, he saw that the people closest to the door look at him, which made him a bit nervous. He decided in order to make it less awkward, he stood on one of his moa legs and waved with the other leg for a short moment before he put down the leg and to his disappointment, no one was kind enough to wave back. It didn’t take long before those who look at him returned to do whatever they were doing before looking at his general direction.

Not the best introduction he could have done, but at least some people know that there is a proxy in the room, so he guess that is at least something. With that in mind, the next thing he did was to walk around the room until someone wanted to interact with him or find an empty seat spot on one of the many benches in the room, even though he doesn’t need to sit.

Eras put a hand to his helmet as he watched the moa bite it on the wet floor of the dojo, stifling a laugh. It might have looked like his Ivara was silently trembling, holding his gut and doubling over. He traveled over, bending down to help up the proxy and right itself. If Eras was allowed to do so, he'd nod at the proxy and follow wherever it was headed. He certainly had no clue where to go, himself.

Carefully crafted deocrations of all kinds were built, beautifying Level 5 with golden ornaments...statues...even a struggling Moa that seemed so real!

    Wait, it is real??

Upon further inspection, Falon realised that the Moa was not a decoration nor a pet, it was just a careless robotic proxy trying to get to its feet. In a pretty hilarious way one might add. With good intentions, Falon ambled over to the Moa the same time another Warframe did. A blue Warframe that seemingly shouted the words "bow and arrow!" An Ivara; a battle-worn Ivara, to be exact.

Falon noticed something; most people were gathered in what looked like a Buffet Room. Hell, he managed to spot Lucas in there despite the crowd, and in his hands what the gunner desired; a drink.

"So..." Falon neared the two as the Ivara helped the Moa up.

"You guys here for a drink?"

Once the world stopped to spin for the moa, he noticed that he got help getting up from the ground. It was the same Tenno that was with him in the elevator. When he was eventually on his his feet again, he look at the Tenno, quickly thinking of an appropriate response as it was the least he could do after getting up with the help from the Tenno.

"Thank you Outworlder, I..I mean Tenno" good job Lupus, you mess up a simple thanks to one of the greatest warriors in the universe he thought to himself after he had stumbled to properly say "Thanks".

He then heard another voice coming toward them, turning his attention to the source of the voice. He thought at first it would be another Tenno, but to his surprise; the voice came from what look like an "ordinary" human, to his knowledge anyway as seeing a human that didn't look like a robot wasn't that common or not at all.

"I'm a Cephalon, for what purpose would I need to drink anything if I can't do it? Although I have always wonder how it would be to have the ability to taste food and drinks, despite it being a bio-organic only thing" he pointed out, hopefully in a not so aggressive way.

He did a quick scan on his body to see if he sustained any damage from the fall, but to his relief, nothing major seemed to be broken. Maybe a tiny buckle that was barley noticeable, but that could be easily fixed later.

Eras wandered up to his Ivara, standing in front of his armory. He reached up to grab one of her deep blue nano-strands, smiling softly. "We're finally here..." Eras took a deep breath, and pressed his head against her helmet. In a flash of blue light, Eras would slip into Ivara, the purple-and-blue frame only beginning to emerge from it's petrified state the moment the last of him dissapeared into it's confines. It is clear that this Ivara has seen much use, several patches of technocyte have been warped or replaced, and several softly glowing patches of void energy are arrayed around them. Despite this, the color and vivacity of the warframe remains--decorated with patches of edo armor on the right shoulder, legs, and a daedalus crest on her chest.

When given permission to land, the darkened purple liset docks nearby Lupus's ship. The cylindric coil of the liset turns, and Eras gracefully leaps out. His eye suddenly catches the strange MOA when he catches the elevator next to him. Not sure where to go, Eras decides to go to the same floor as him...watching the eerily whistling, unaccompanied proxy with a look. Well, as best of a look that a warframe can give.

Before the elevator door closed, he notice that someone managed to get to the same elevator as him. It turned out to be a Tenno in blue and purple suit that seemed to be somewhat battle worn. If Lupus wasn't a cephalon, he would most likely show signs of being nervous as he didn't expect to meet a Tenno this early. He kept on whistle the tune he had in his head and tried his best to be casual as possible, even though he was screaming internally.

When the elevator eventually stopped at level 5, he "casually" walked out of the elevator, stopped once outside of the elevator and did one quick bio scan for any large amount of people in an area. His scanner returned with that there was an large amount of people in one area, most likely the meeting point or just a place that most people would meet up with other people, he wasn't sure. With the bio scan done and the data gathered from said scan, he started to walk toward the room with the great amount of people in it.

On his way to the room (which he didn't know was the buffet), he failed to notice that there was an area that look particular wet from a recent mopping, along with the sign in the Tenno language that said "Cautious, wet floor". However, it was too late as the moment he tried to move his left leg from the wet area, he slipped and fell onto his back. Luckily for him, his moa body didn't sustain any mayor damage from the fall, but the landing itself caused him to feel dizzy as the sudden whiplash caused his circuit to temporary fail from the impact. Normally he could get up from being knocked down just fine as moa's has an in build upright function built into their main AI, but he wasn't lucky this time around.

Nice to see you back again Wolfman. While Lupus is a very unusual OC, I would be lying if I said that I have found anything wrong with him. Cephalon Lupus is accepted, feel free to post in the IC!

Thanks, got to be honest, I was a bit nervous to see the review, but I'm glad my work payed off.

  9. After a long time of traveling in space from Fortuna, Lupus finally arrived at the dojo he got invited to. The clan member said that his skills could come in use, but said member didn't say why, which made Lupus even more curious as he liked to learn about new things and not knowing why he was invited made his curiosity peak. Before the transport ship, filled with various goods from various merchants that these Tenno apparently trusted, landed in the hangar, he decided to do a quick routine check on his body. He checked the motors in his legs, his neural sensors along with the cameras that allowed him to see and while he couldn't try his weapon inside of the ship, his scans shows that the weapon was fully functional.

As he had finished his routine check on his robotic body, the loading ramp opened up and he made his way out of the transport ship, taking in the environment of the hanger by looking around with his robot head that kinda look like a bugs head when you came to think of it. Some ships were "current", some old and some were from the other factions. One was somewhat on fire...wait, why is that ship on fire? While he wanted to explore the hangar in his own time, he got told from the same clan member of the dojo that he should head toward level 5 of the dojo. When he got to the nearest, available elevator, he enter said elevator, stood on one leg to press the button to level 5 with one of the 3 front toes with his other free leg and waited. He hummed on a song that he heard plenty of times during his time on Fortuna as he waited for the elevator to reach level 5. At first, he wonder why they hummed or whistled to the same song, but after a while, he thought that the song started to sound catchy, despite not knowing if there was a version of the song where you actually could hear lyrics or if it was just a humming or whistle kind of song.

  10. Hello again. After days of thinking (and being distracted with the Fortuna update) and planning, I'm finally done with my character sheet. Feel free to give me any feedback.

    Name: Cephalon Lupus

Alias(es): “Lupus” “Cephalon on sticks” (He’s not a fan of that name).

    Species: Cephalon

    Gender: Male

Apparent Age: (He doesn’t know why his appearance would matter when it comes to his age)

Mental Age: 30 (That is what he claims to be mentally)

Biological Age: 5 years since activation

    Personality:

When Lupus isn’t assisting anyone, he can be pretty calm and kind to those who treat him well. Those who don’t treat him well, he will be a bit more cautions toward said individuals as he see those kind of people “unpredictable”. He’s not one to use weapons, unless it’s for self defence, specially since his main way to walk around outside of a computer is a moa body and those are known to be fragile or so he has heard from the tales of tenno defeating armies of moa’s with ease. He sometimes gets curious at things he don’t know about and if possible, try to ask what the thing is, but he only does it if appropriate as he wouldn’t want to make anyone angry by being annoying or at least he tries to not be annoying. He also prefer to be with people he trust as he finds it a bit lonely if he’s alone for a long period of time. Sometime when he’s bored, he might pull a short joke or two, mostly moa based puns

    Appearance:

    Data form:

    Mr3o9lnUevRUWZnkQaRieH6-xKW39f_F99q-DaKixW2J73UleCfcGoR74-UFRZAmatV0jG6UiX80W8dp0garUfpoPrNK_t6FCWYPASCmXKtffbgOt1Few4JuqA3hNlE2u8Jpq_Xn
((Made by me. Space background is not there in-universe. It’s more of an aesthetic addition to make it less flat))
Physical Body: When he’s not in any kind of computer, he travel around in a standard (green variant) moa body, but instead of the standard colours, the moa body sports a light gray main color with an orange stripe along the length of each legs, similar to the pattern found on a shockwave moa. The “eyes” on the head piece glows orange/yellow and like the people found in Fortuna, they blink whenever the cephalon speaks. He can move the head freely as well as he can move the moa legs. The battery pack that every moa has is still on said body and not altered when it comes to colours

    Brief History:

In the beginning, Cephalon Lupus used to be in charge of keeping track of a rich corpus crewman’s own wealth and this lasted for about a year until a certain void praiser started to advertise his debt bond people. This greedy crewman saw the potential of owning one of these people as a mean of saving on maintenance cost, so the first thing this person did was to sell the cephalon for one of the debt bound people. The cephalon would get transported to Orb valis’ spaceport for further use of the corpus, either through being sold to someone else or being used within spaceport.

However, when the transport ship approached the outer rim of Venus, the tenno infiltrated the ship to sabotage the ships reactor because of the valuable content stored inside of said ship. Most of the supplies in the ship got destroyed, with the exception of the container with the cephalon in it as said container plumed toward Orb valis and landed somewhat softly on the snow. It took a couple of days before one of the Solaris United rebels found the container with the cephalon. The cephalon got transfer over to one of the many mass produced moa unit that was found during one of the scavenger hunts. At this point in time, Lupus helped around by keeping track of various things that helped the Solaris united.

When the Tenno started to appear in Fortuna, one of the members of the Reaping Olympian offered the cephalon in the moa body to come along to help them in a future mission that might require someone as him. While the Cephalon had been comfortable being with the people of Fortuna, he did wonder what it was like to be with Tenno as he had only heard about the tenno from tales. Several hours later, he took a transport ship to the dojo where he would embark on a new chapter of his digital life

    Equipment:

The moa body is equipped with a shield that is balanced in terms of amount and recharge time/delay. The armor built into the body is above normal, but it won’t last as long as the shield would, only acting as his last line of defense. Lastly, the moa body has inbuilt ability to create a shockwave similar to a shockwave moa, but because of the size different compared to said moa model, the shockwave radius is reduced to 75% of the normal size. The body have another module and that is the ability to hack both consoles and other robotic entities to turn them to his side. On top of the moa body, there is a Cestra that works like a normal variant, with the exception that it can switch into a plasma ball attack that electrify enemies around the plasma ball

    Skills and Abilities:

Since the cephalon spend a year with the corpus, he knows a great deal about how the corpus behave and their language + the skill to translate from corpus to anything else. He is good at keeping track of stocks if provided a list (in other word, fast counter). Beside of the skills he was programed with, he also learn a thing or two about hacking from the people of Solaris United. He also has the unique ability to transfer his cephalon self to other machinery without any assistant by “jumping” through energy ports as a quick electric spark (something he discovered by accident one day).

I'm running into this same issue.  If I were to guess it's because they're modelled off of kubrow/kavats, which don't have separate weapons.

That does sound like a possible reason why the affinity sharing for moa pet's weapon wouldn't work properly. I mean, they do share some of the companion mods.

  12. I somewhat recently forma a sentinel weapon a couple of days ago and I wanted to use my moa to level it up. However, when I was doing missions on orb valis or any other non-open world missions, the only time the sentinel weapon got affinity was when the moa got kills with the weapon. I thought it was very strange indeed, so I tried to level up the sentinel weapon on a sentinel instead and suddenly, the weapon got affinity from my teammates and the kills it may or may not managed to get.

My theory is that when you try to level up sentinel weapons with a moa companion, said weapon don't get affinity from the shared affinity that the teammates would give, but on a sentinel it works as intended.

  13. Our clan have almost everything researched, rank 10 and a leader that is active almost everyday. Friendly members (as I have seen and know), a custom course to test your skills (quite difficult one) and somewhat pretty rooms to look at (WIP)

Discord is optional (But recommended to keep in touch with the other members while offline)

Have any questions? PM me and I will respond as soon as possible.

I apologize for the incredibly late reply, for some reason I never got the notification that you had posted here, and I didn't think to look here since the OOC isn't that busy lately. Nice to see you, Wolfman!

On the matters of your OC, it depends on how significant you plan for your OCs to be. I'm completely fine with a Cephalon OC in a Moa body, so feel free to make that. However, if you plan on making another OC alongside that Cephalon OC, then I'm afraid that you can't have two main OCs at once. If you want to have the Cephalon OC and the main OC in the RP, I can be lenient and allow it if the Cephalon OC is in a smaller support role, not as a full main OC. However, I would simply recommend that you have one chosen OC for this RP. If you were to ask me, I think you should choose the Cephalon/Moa OC - that character sounds very interesting.

Also, lorewise, from what we have seen, both Tenno and Corpus have Cephalons. Cephalon Jordas is from a Corpus ship, and Darvo mentioned that there was a market for Cephalons. This implies that you can buy Cephalons, meaning that basically anyone could have one if they had the money.

I see. Very interesting about the cephalon deal.

Anyway, consider your feedback, I may stick with my original idea as I would have a hard time choosing something that I didn't do before. I have created a grineer OCs in the past, alongside with 5 tenno OCs (the grineer ones came later), so I thought I could do something different and new, instead of going for an "human" OC.

Some of the "age" related fields will be hard to fill in since Cephalons really don't "age" as living things. Maybe I could mention how long said Cephalon OC has been active.

  15. Hello there!

As someone who was in the original one and it's been a while since I rp here, I suppose I could give it a go once again.

Currently thinking of the OC I may RP as. My idea I had in mind is a Cephalon OC in a Moa body (either the green, standard variant or the shockwave variant and it will be coloured differently. One idea would be a Hyena model, but that sounds more like an upgrade that this lone cephalon could "get" later on) without an operator. Even have a general idea of how the cephalon "body" would look like.

Any thoughts about this OC idea of mine?

(Sidenote: Lot of Tenno OCs, both modern and old style, which is fine by me)
