While you are busy, Silver would detect a strange smell, a Grineer smell, coming from behind one of the huts, a smell suspiciously like the one on the plains.
Thraks held his ignis tighter as he look up to see who the shadow's owner was.
"Whatever you do men and women, do not engage until either I or the tenno say so"

Silver thought it was odd to get this smell inside of the town. She followed the scent carefully in a slow, sneakingly pace.

"I don't think anyone has asked that yet, but I suppose I could tell you my story. It all began when I was created freshly from a cloning vat and one thing that happens before a grineer gets to train to become a soldier, is that you get checked to see if you are defective or not. Turns out I was defective, which is rare amongst bombard units. Anyhow, I was immediately sentence to death the next week as the "execute these defects" list was currently full for the week. I didn't have high hope I would come out of my prison cell since I was pretty much trapped like a rat, but then something miraculously happen; a fellow elite grineer lancer helped me escape my prison cell during the night and to this day we are still friends with each other. Sometime later, I felt like I needed someone to be with me as spending my time alone wasn't that fun. So I went to a pet adoption clinic and it was then I found this pretty of a kubrow; Silver" he said as he petted Silver who gladly barked back to him which made him chuckle.
"After that, I joined the steel meridian as one of their chefs. I think that was all of my highlight of my life so far. There has been a couple of small adventures here and there, but their aren't as important as the one I told about was"

The area outside the gate is a hellzone. Body parts litter the area. The Tenno are covered in blood and guts, their armor obviously damaged. Clouds of gas litter the air, and the soldiers that happen to close seem to struggle with their movements.

"I don't know, but I have a feeling it won't bother the tenno that much. If they can defeat a whole army, then they can kill a couple of zombie like creatures"

If I found out that Onnko was still alive, I would be filled with joy and maybe throw in a hug while I'm at it. Once I would calm down, I would then tell Sayia that Onnko is still alive. I don't know if you know this Tenno, but we saw Onnko as a brother and a very wise man of his words.

“Why not just... boom?” The soldier behind you asks, making a stomping motion. Clearly he is referring to the supernatural abilities the Tenno possess.
The Tenno turns to stare at him.
“How do you think we managed to hold them this long?” He asks.
Thraks turned to the soldier who asked the question with his head looking sideway.
"Careful what you say soldier, wouldn't want to get the end of the blade from the Tenno, would you?" he said before returning his gaze toward the Tenno.
"We got you covered Tenno, along with our steel meridian issued Ignis. Although I won't guarantee that the plains will smell that nice after we are done roasting them to ashes"

As Thraks were about to enter the village, he almost saw someone wave to him before the Tenno approach him.
“Greetings Tenno, I’m bet you’re the one who called for backup” he said in plain, old English.

A long siren plays out over the plains. The Ostron fall silent for a ecibd. Then they begin calling out names, others looking towards the gate. They seem panicked. As if time has run out.
”What has gotten into them?” Kal asks.
”Night falls, Sentient rises.” A voice says behind you. “The ghouls are now the least of your worries.”
"Is that what the zombie like creatures are called? Good to know. Although I have no idea what the sentient is"

The ship continues its descent. Suddenly it drops a few feet.
“Electromagnetic disturbance.” The pilot says. “Not good.”
The Transport moves to hover over the water, near the beach of a simple looking colony.
You can see Krunk below, cooking something amidst human chefs. It appears there is some sort of party or event going on.
Thraks was happy to see that Krunk seemed to be doing fine, although that doesn't mean he will have time to visit him until the current job is done.
"What happen to the transport ship just there? It didn't feel good"

The transport you are on rumbles to life and lifts off, heading out of the hangar and down towards the blue and green orb below.
*While Thraks waited to land in the plains, a thought suddenly came up in his mind; what was his friend doing down there in the village? Presumably doing something cooking related*

It takes a short while to get the grunts loaded into the shuttle. One seems extremely reluctant once he hears the word Ghoul and does not board until he is informed that refusing would be considered desertion.
Thraks take a good look at the helmet he was provided for the mission before he put it on.
"Is everyone who are going on this mission here?" he asked the grunts just to be sure.

Halfway through the meal you spot Kal heaiding back toward his ship, his Rhino’s armor dented and torn. He seems out of breath.
Krunk wondered what the gold ovals was as he picked one up and look at it. Maybe it's their currency in their village.
He then saw Kal, waving to him.
"You're free to come and eat here, there's plenty of food here" he shouted to Kal as he put down the gold oval and resumed to bring out portions to the "hungry" people.

The Ostron cooking the strips of meat begin to hand out the smaller ones as snacks.
Krunk was done with the sauce and it couldn't be better timed as he had a feeling that they were pretty eager to eat the main course.
He grabbed a plate, put some of the meat on it along with some mash potato and with the sauce on the side. He did so for several plates.
"People of the village, come and get your fresh food here while it's hot" he shouted so those who wanted food could hear him. He continued to put out more plates as he had a feeling that the food would be very popular very quickly.

“You two are going with them.” He says. “Rendezvous with our ground team. You’ll both be responsible for advising the defenders on weapon placements and ammo selection for the ramparts and turrets.”
"Yes Sir" he said with a salute. It would be nice to have some proper action after some time of being inactive from it so long.

Krunk simply chuckled and felt impressive that the people didn't go that wild on the fries. Regardless, he had one thing to do before the "main course" was done, making the sauce which shouldn't take long.

Krunk took a look at the supplies as he thought about it. Would it be ok for the tenno if he used more than needed in order to please the people? He took the risk as he started to make some fries, but since he didn't have any tools that he could use to make fries easily, he opted to use a kitchen knife instead.
He grabbed another batch of potatoes from the supplies, used the knife to cut them into the right shape and size. Once that was done, he put the pile of raw fries onto a cooking slab and as they were being fried, he grab a handful of salt from a bag and sprinkle it over the fries.
Once the fries were done frying, he grab a large bowl and put them all in it.
"There we go, a large bowl of fries. Feel free to try, but don't eat all of it as the main course will be ready pretty soon"

"Oh this? This my friend is a potato. A vegetable that can be used for a lot of things. Like for example, you can mash it down into a soft...um..dough like mixture like I'm doing right now. You could also simply cook it for baked potato or by using tools in order to turn the potato into many, long sticks that are known as fries" he tried to explain as best as he could

Returning to the body you can see spots where several rounds are lodged in the rolls of fat and flesh, reinforced with sporadic plates of armor. It strikes you as unlikely that an acrid needs would fare any better.
"You're also wrong as I spotted a few acrid rounds within the many rolls of fat and flesh. My recommendation would be a weapon that can punch through the layers or aim for the head. A weapon like Vulkar could work on them"

While Krunk wanted to find out what the coin deal was, he was too busy cooking. He had finished the large batch of mash potatoe, spending the rest of the time to prepare the sauce.

While Silver wanted to go and attack the bad guy, she knew it wouldn't be smart of her to go in just like that (even though its really tempting to go in and bite the baddies behind). She decided to watch the baddy from out of it's sight before she would return back to her master to warn about the baddy.
