The thread you linked is especially funny because the OP specifically says it's not a 'ded game is ded thread' and discussion wasn't trending that way but it was still used as the excuse to lock the topic. If the devs or players are getting depressed because of facts, then efforts should be made to change those numbers and shutting down discussions is certainly not a good look for anyone involved.
