  1. Then spend the 5 dollars and get it. Put down the foot long sandwich, large fry and vanilla shake and put forth 5 dollars. It is summer, take an hour and mow a lawn. You could get the combo meal AND the slots.

... you are implying everyone can afford those even in the first place. This "hunter" level foundership is pretty much all I could spend for a long time. I did it because I enjoy the game a lot and had managed to save up a little.

  2. +1 to this. Have had some mods and nice loot drops fly off the map too. Lost a couple of those white special orbs because of that. Ammo, cash and "trash loot", sure, by all means let them erupt all over the place like a volcano, but let the mods and rare items stay on the ground where they can be reached by all players.

  3. +1 for this option. Would VERY much like to see this, as I have to sprint a lot.

Would also make those jump-kick/melee attacks more viable. Right now my sliding attempts look like this:

I sprint forward and press crtl to slide, but I accidentally release Shift in the process -> my warframe walks like he/she just soiled the suit.

I sprint forward, Slide, release slide to try to continue sprinting around corner, press ctrl to slide... -> my warframe walks like he/she just soiled the suit.

Sucks to be manual dexterity challenged.

  4. I was considering that, but it'd still be possible to troll with it and all it'd take is one melee 'expert' on a boss and the other three can't do anything without risking themselves.

And again, if it is toggleable, it'd mostly render it moot, because the great majority of people would have no reason to turn it on. If it would give, say, extra experience, it'd still not be ideal, because some people would become liabilities and contribute less when fighting while getting more benefits than anyone else due to the shared XP.

It'd need to be a mission-wide toggle, but then they'd need to overhaul the entire group-seeking system to split what you're looking for. Most likely, adding any kind of FF that's not widely implemented and forced on everyone will be a lot of effort for little reward for the developers.

This is very true. It is probably not very high on the priority list for now, but it would be nice to see at some point. Of course FF matches would have to be in a separate group-seeking system, just to avoid any nasty surprises.

  5. How about this?

Turn FF on, receive 10% increase in credit and XP income.

Then people who want to get the benefit will have to take the risk.

  6. Yes, there has got to be a way to improve the performance, sometimes the game is totally unplayable when I am playing with some of my friends.

I am in Finland, and I am stuck with a 24/1 DSL (darn 24 month contracts). The friends I play with are from Norway, and they have notoriously flaky internet connections, and some of them live "in the sticks". And still, somehow one of them ALWAYS ends up as the host. I sometimes have 10 second delay between walking over a mod/ammunition box and the actual effect/text. Also, the enemies will just sometimes stand there, and I pump ridiculous amounts of shells into them "just to make sure" they are dead. Of course, I do no damage to them because they died about 10 seconds ago already, but they are still standing there, only to see them vanish into thin air.

  7. I agree, it would be fun to get some events occasionally with some goodies. Would enjoy that a lot. However, I am still at a relatively early stages into the game and would love to see some early-game events too. Of course the rewards could be a bit smaller, but they would be great fun to do none the less.

  8. Okay, let me rephrase that then. It should ignore the AOEs and mods/abilities.

With AOE Effect, I meant abilities like slash dash, radial javelin and such, and possibly the weapon AOE attacks.

  9. Personally I would like them nerfed slightly in solo mode, to drain a portion of energy instead all of it. In multiplayer this is much less of an issue as there are more players to deal with them, so in multiplayer they could still behave as they currently do. But when you are in a solo game and you get jumped by a Disruptor and a bunch of others, you are dead.

It is almost as effective as a Nervos in solo mode in taking out a single player.

"What is a Nervos?" you may ask. Well this is what it was. http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Nervos

It has been disabled until they have been balanced.

  10. There is am optional friendly fire system on Killing Floor (another co-op shooter), which made it sometimes awful to play (thanks to grenades and demolition "experts"). There was also a reverse friendly fire, which caused the damage to be reflected back to the shooter.

I personally think reverse friendly fire might be an interesting feature. Of course, this would have to be a toggle on/off, and ignore AOE effects.

  11. Good day to you ladies and gentlemen, I am Timo, also known as SoanoS, and I hail from Finland. I am about 35 years old, and I enjoy gaming a lot. I have always loved Co-op games more than competitive games, mainly because I am a person who doesn't really thrive on conflict. Warframe came at a great time as some games I have been expecting failed to deliver in the most horrible fashion imaginable. And some of those were "AAA" titles, too. It came to me as a relief to see a FREE co-op shooter come available out of the blue, and so far I am pretty impressed.

So, I decided to splash out for the Hunter Founder's package with the Prime warframe because I wasn't sure if 770 plat and a pointy stick is worth 50 bucks. Sorry guys, but that's how I felt. Maybe, if the upgrade packages came with some mods and extra consumables and affinity/credit booster items the higher levels would be more desirable. But I hope I did good. Money doesn't grow on trees for unemployed/retired people (I am unable to work due to a medical condition). :P

Take care, watch your six and I hope to catch some of you out there. :)

  12. At the time of writing this, there should be an hour or so left to reach Europa and splat one Fusion Moa onto the walls.

Everyone, find a friend who can take you there and just RUN trough a mission, and concentrate on the objective.

Also, so many unnecessary "oo I liee" "soo sxey" "want ash priem nao!" "want scyeht" posts... Almost impossible to find any useful information on this topic... Almost like everyone on this forum was 9 or something. ;)

And if someone missed the event completion and killed one Fusion Moa before the grace period ran out, you should get your reward when it runs out.

(Note: I have nothing against people thanking for the event, but speculation about the warframe stats and weapons should be in its own separate thread.)

  13. link4355, I think you need to farm the blueprints for those components, build them, and then build the Frost Prime using those components and the blueprint.

And I am one of the players who was a bit late to Europa. However, I did manage to get into Europa with help of a friend, and managed to kill a half a dozen of those Fusion Moas. Will this mean I will be receiving my 100k credits and Frost Prime Blueprint at 12PM EDT when the event ends? I see people who were in there during the event have gotten their rewards, so I am just curious.
