  1. Hi,

     

    I got a "Recovered" Nightwave weekly act called "Animator" in which you have to socket 3 Ayatan sculptures. I don't seem to get any credit towards this act. I have relogged. I have socketed each type of sculpture and none of them give credit  towards this act. It seems that this has been a problem before but this is the first time (after the mainline) that I have had this problem.

  2. I've played Warframe almost 3 years (would have played longer if I had noticed this game earlier 😞 )

     

    Either people over react to bad behavior online or there is some seriously higher number of annoying players between regions (NA vs EU etc) or PC vs Consoles. (EU/PC myself) I have yet to run into something I would consider outside of the normal idiotic behavior while playing Warframe. Majority of the community I have run into are great.

     

    I have run into idiots some times. Do I get pissed? Yes I do. But as people have already stated it just best to let it go if its nothing serious. I have only reported one player during the time I have played so I don't see a big problem in this game regards toxicity from my perspective. I am more annoyed of the word "toxic/toxicity" than annoying people playing Warframe.

     

    Its human nature. We will never have a gaming community that does not have its share of idiots or people that simply don't get a long.

     

     

  3. Tbh,

    I am not sure what they would have against it and that is why I am asking this. There are multiple things that I would want to be made better in the game but they probably are not the most pressing matters on their mind. I have no idea if they will even read this post but one can hope.

     

    As to why they might consider doing this is

    • It makes an interaction in the game better and easier for the players taking away the heavy toll of maximum trades per day which probably means that most people rather use their trades for something more valuable.
    • It takes away the tediousness of having the spend "ages" in the menu screens selecting the same item you need to trade for possibly tens of times. They have already done this in other aspect of the game like allowing you to trade with Cetus NPCs and buying several Exodia/Virtuous/Magus blueprints rather than buying them all separately. Naturally in those cases you only save the time and don't have to balance with some "currency" (max trades per day) like it is with trading between players.
    • It allows more trading of gems (which are still quite low value items) in higher numbers which means more platinum exhanged which might mean more platinum sales for DE. This is a stretch though.

    As many might know, if you are trading Radian Sentrium and Heart Nyth (crafted gems from the raw gems mined in Plains of Eidolon) you can only trade a maximum of 5 gems per trade as the gems can not be stacked into a single slot.

     

    This is a request for DE to allow stacking of these gems as we are talking about a resource that a lot of the time people are trading in mass quantities (at least based on my expiriences so far). Trading the amount of gems needed for crafting a R3 Exodia/etc will require 6 trades with a total of 30 times that I need to select a single item from the menu. I would love to be able to stack these gems into a single slot to both make the trading easier and cost less daily trades. If I would have to suggest some solution from in between the curretn situation and what I just suggested I would suggest allowing stacking of these items to something like 5-6 pieces per slot (corresponding to either one current full trade of gems or even amount of gems needed to craft 2 Exodias/etc.

     

    There are a lot of similiar things related to the UI and how it works which could be made better to enchance the player expirience. (I am looking at the Relic UI without the options to view or sort Relics based on their Vault/Unvault status)

     

    Heres to hoping that DE notices this 🙂

  5. I started by doing the Teralyst kills with my clan.

     

    Since Chroma was doing higher damage back then I used it to capture about Teralyst a night solo.

     

    After the 2 newer Eidolons came I just used random public groups without recruitment chat to do the runs. I'd say 95% of the time we get 2x3 and on some odd times its 3x3.

     

    I personally just use Volt and join a bounty. I see if there is a Trinity in the group and if there is one I will stay and that usually means 2 full runs which I am fine with. I have not bothered in finding groups in the chat. Maybe I might at some point when I really want to do the last Arcane farm crunch before Fortuna hits.

     

    To me the main problem seems to be that people come to the Tridolon runs without a solid Amp. The shields might take more time to take down which really is the main thing eating up the time taken. Most people seem to have some decent weapon to take the limbs down. My approach with Volt has been to bring as much as I can to the group. Only thing I am really not doing is healing. Even though using Unairu Focus tree lets me protect the Lures to some degree.

     

    I personally don't mind newer players joining the runs as long as there is a Trinity healing the lures and protecting the players as for the most part I can take care of the Eidolon.

     

    What annoys me most in public runs is when people take needlesly long time to move to the altar between the Eidolons. Naturally its also annoying if I cant find Vombs at the start enough to charge one lure which usually results in a situation where there are multiple lures uncharged next to the eidolon and it takes ages to get one of the lures charged. Further more people tend to shoot the limbs when you are basically waiting for that one last Vom to charge the lure.

     

    If there is a lot of "toxicity" in a Tridolon group I would dare to guess that for the most part its because the team is made up of people that are not ready for it gearwise and/or there is someone in the group that is expecting a random public group to be always as efficient as a premade. Though you are bound to run to annoying people at some point.

    Found a spawn location that to me seems to be in a location that can't be reached by the player.

     

    The mission is the Earth/Capture mission. I think it was "Mantle"?

     

    The Aytan has spawned inside the mouintain wall.

    I have run into this problem in the past but lately when I have been doing actual mining runs instead of just mining random nodes here and there the problem has become more apparent.

     

    The problem is that very frequently even if you have the Mining Tool equipped you won't get any beeping sound or minimap markers of mining nodes that are right next to you. You can go 100's of meters in the PoE map without the mining tool registering anything.


    Just now my setup was the following

    • Warframe: Loki Prime
    • Mining Tool: Advanced Nosam Cutter

     

    I started by going around my left hand side of the map when entering from Cetus. After the mining site I suddenly noticed that I was not finding any nodes with the help of the minimap and the sound that the mining tool makes. I continued my way all the way to the big grineer camp with the cave with a lot of the mining nodes and still nothing. After that I had the idea of going into Operator mode and back from it and the mining nodes instantly registered on my minimap and as the sound the mining tool makes.

     

    This same problem would manifest multiple times which were all corrected by going to Operator mode and back.

     

    Even though this is not a major issue I would hope it be put into the list of future bugfixes so that it would not manifest itself for example in the new Venus openworld zone.

    I have been writing this in a couple of threads and hoping for this feature for a long time so I thought I'd make a new thread about it in the hopes of someone from DE reading it.

     

    The amount of relics is constantly growing and I would imagine many players that have played a couple of years and are hoarders like me have an ever increasing amount of relics in their inventory. This is making choosing relic hard when you are trying to just use the currently obtainable relics and not spend the ones that have been vaulted.

     

    This problem is even more apparent for me in these moments when a new Prime is relased and I have plenty of the just now vaulted relics in my inventory. I would rather like a way to hide/sort the vaulted relics away from my sight when doing just basic Relic runs.

     

    It would be great if we could have additional sorting options in the drop down menu like

    • Vaulted
    • Non Vaulted

     

    One idea might also be to add tags to the relic icons that CLEARLY mention the same above thing of Vaulted / Non Vaulted. Or whatever terms would be the best.

     

    I am really hoping you implement this now that you are in the progress of overhauling the the UI anyway. The problem is going to get worse unless this is addresses in some point.

  9. I really hope the UI changes at some point involve making the Relic UI a bit more robust in the area of sorting Relics

     

    There are so many relics in the game already that players would really need a way of sorting/hiding vaulted relics to be able to easily choose those basic intact relics when just farming for any Prime parts.

     

    The UI is getting tedious with the constant influx of new Relics

  10. Hi,

     

    I am not sure what has changed and when but it seems that Primary and Secondary projectile weapons (at least) don't hit enemies when you are close to them.

     

    This is most apparent when hunting Eidolons. I used to be close to the Eidolons at all times as I use Volt Prime and a short range secondary attack of Amp on my Operator. When I get the shields down on the Eidolon and start shooting the Eidolon I either get NO damage number/amount or I get just zeroes. This applies when shooting the Eidolon knees or its arms when positioned in front of it legs (for example). If I go further from the Eidolon I can again see the dmg numbers and damage the Eidolon. When I am close to the Eidolon there is no damage to it what so ever.

     

    I would imagine why I noticed this first with Eidolons after not doing Eidolons that much for a couple of weeks is that they must have different/bigger hitboxes. This is almost like it was in the start for the Eidolons. When certain shots to the limbs just resulted in 0 damage. But this is worse since if you dont change your position you can't damage the enemies at all (Eidolons naturally the most problematic case)

     

    Anyone else had this problem? This is completely new to me and something must have happaned with the lastest hotfixes?

  11. Sigh,

     

    This would really cause more problems than it solves. As stated already people would still be on the other side of the map since Sanctuary kind of requires that at many occasions when the map is big enough.

     

    I also imagine you would also run into situations where more and more teams would run into problems if they either did not bring an AoE dmg Warframe or proper weapons and it would mean that you would fail the Sanctuary run much faster. What then? Then we would again have some people asking for changes to something else.

     

    I have already seen people come leech in Sanctuary with absolutely no proper gear. And some of them are even being **** about it. In those situations I either leave (if its early run) or just continue to the next reward perhaps. Take one tool away from some people and you would see even worse results for your focus/affinity gains.

     

    It seems more and more common that people come to the forums to ask for DE to remove something to avoid a certain problem when that thing either really is not a big problem or same things can be achieved in other ways.

     

    But yeah, this would cause a lot more problems than it solves. Just increasing the affinity range would be better since the game is supposed to be in a smaller area anyway but for some reason the map sizes still seem to vary enough to cause problems with affinity.

    I havent used Banshee in Hydron lately but if the Banshee is the problem doing 10-20 waves then obviously it does not have the correct mod setup. I have had no problems wiping the rooms clear with my Banshee and the Nox and other mobs I just finish of with weapons. I have not heard anyone complain about using Banshee. Some random people leave right at the start and I assume that this is because of the frames and weapons they see on other people.

     

    Lately I have been farming more Meso Relics and I do that on Io/Jupiter. I do use Banshee for that too since its quite efficient. I have also been in groups with another Banshee and ended up having to wait for him/her to finish the killing and sit around for 10 waves. Is it boring? yes. Does it matter for me? no. This is because im not there exactly for doing something specific I REALLY enjoy in warframe but to gather resources. Then again I do have a sick tendency to enjoy mind numbing things.

     

    If  I dont like something I either stay in the group for the bare minimum of time to get the rewards and then leave (obviously not leaving anyone in trouble because of that) or I leave right away and try my luck again.

     

    As far as other players playing style goes I try to "educate" on what I think is the most polite way or best way to play with others BUT I don't think people have to play like that. It seems that in the current day and age people have the tendency to think that what they like or don't like is somehow enough reasoning to start forcing things on other people. I am not saying anyone here so far has done anything as drastic as that but thats just the thing that comes to my mind every time someone criticizes some kind of playstyle.

     

    With regards to the Fissure and fast killing, I agree. Some people tend to kill everything even before they are corrupted. Usually you see this in low lvl Earth exterminates with Embers running around. I think this is mostly due that people simply don't know how the drops works for Fissure runs. I am not 100% sure either but I imagine they enemies have to be corrupted for them to actually drop the 10 items you need to open the relic

     

     

  13. I havent played it after the latest hotfixes.

     

    From the start the problem of this mode has been the lack of spawns. If this is supposed to be in any way endless mode then I would expect there to be a realistic chance to getting past something like 15-20 zones if you can deal enough damage. (I know obviously that people have done longer runs but just considering random groups with perhaps lesser setup) I mean we just had a good example of an organized group doing multiple hours of the Kuva survival. There is no way people can hope to reach even a fraction of that with the current system.

     

    At the moment you basically quickly reach a point where you just cant keep up with the amount of kills required. I feel that the difficulty (the % decreasing) shouldnt ramp up as fast as it does currently. I would personally also hope that the reward/drops would be changed. Alternate between lower end and rarer rewards on each Zone.

  14. Not worth doing atm since either crash or fail a host migration. Havent been able to finish a single Onslaught, though I have only tried 2 normals and 1 elite.

     

    Screen has totally frozen and game crashed twice. In the other occasion each other member just dropped between transitions to other areas and eventually host migration just failed.

     

    Each time the portal spawns my FPS takes a huge dive down which normally doesnt happen. Usually the FPS is around 100-144 FPS

     

    Otherwise seems like a decent gamemode. Though not having normal drops seems wierd as this is supposed to be a challenge. The elite mode Radiant Relics are nice to counter missing the drops but the normal relics on the normal mode do not really replace the missing normal drops imo.

  15. Have only done public (non organized) groups since the start. Only condition for me is that there is a Trinity in the group as I typically use a Volt to handle the dmg.

     

    I'd say 90% of the runs end up with the group finishing 2 sets of 3 Eidolons.

     

    It seems to me that at this point the main problem is peoples Amps and and Focus talents. Sometimes I feel I am the only one nuking the shields down (Volt shield + Madurai). But I'd say most runs end up with with at least 2 players with both decent amp and weaponry. On the very rare occasion you run into another clearly expirienced player with whom you can without chatting establish roles with one taking down shields and one one-shotting the limbs. That's always nice.

     

    I always find it a bit wierd when people talk about toxic players in Warframe since I rarely run into them. I guess it might be a platform or region specific problem perhaps? (Europe myself). I personally don't bother with stupid comment made by someone in the party chat unless its ongoing. Or maybe I have a completely different concept of what is toxic. It's unfortunate that some people skip parts of the game simply because someone else is being an ***

  16. Hi,

     

    Our Clan needed 50k Mutagen Samples and we had been sitting on 20/50k samples for ages. As it was the only weapon research missing I took it as one of my projects. Farmed the remaining 30k Mutagen samples in ODD (Orokin Derelict Defense) with random groups using a resource booster. Took around month to farm that while doing some other stuff too.

     

    It would not be a bad farm if the Clans would be really active and people participated. But it seems to me that the main problem with this type of farming in this type of game is that there is way less social interaction ingame and Clans don't have the same kind of place like in some MMO games. Seems really hard to get enough active people in a Clan to tackle these different objective since for so many this game is an ON/OFF thing.

  17. Was wondering this same thing.

     

    Just had 2 full runs of all 3 Eidolons and both times somewhere during the Teralyst fight suddenly stopped going into Operator Mode. At the same time I stopped taking any dmg whatsoever from any source. Going into the water did not help at all. Even tried /unstuck but no effect. The eidolons stomp attack seemed to knock me back, at least in the Hydrolyst fight

     

    I was using

    • Rubico
    • Akbolto Prime
    • Secura Lecta
    • Madurai Focus Tree
    • Arcane Momentum (Rank 3)
    • Arcane Velocity (Rank 3)

     

    Before this I used to have problems of my primary weapon dissapearing. I mean completely dissapearing even from my back when i was holding some other weapon. It almost seemed like it had something to do with using the Volt shield then.

     

    EDIT: According to one player this bug only affects the HOST!! (not 100% sure)

  18. Hi,

     

    Just a quick question if anyone else has run into this problem.

     

    I have done the Teralyst bounties with randoms now that its a bit easier to group up and been using Volt Prime for the most part. I am using Rubico as my primary weapon and for some reason at some point of the fight I will loose my primary weapon. I can not change to it with my keybind nor does the weapon show up in my back when I have my secondary weapon on. I can not see any marker on the map where it might have dropped but then again there should be no mobs in PoE that would be doing something like that.


    Kinda makes the Eidolon fight hard when you dont have a proper secondary to handle it and you loose your primary weapon.
