Like I said, make video with your Zaw, show me if I'm wrong, ofc if u disagree.

Your first video is a bad example because the enemies are paused. Melee attacking a paused enemy in the simulacrum activates the stealth multiplier which gives you a 8x damage multiplier. Do the test without paused enemies to get the actual dps. The time to kill in your second video is also not the best, a hybrid build would kill much quicker because condition overload exists, which makes a status build incredibly strong.

Is it me, or is the spore spread range shorter in the Primetime? I swear I might be going insane but it seriously seems like the Spores didn't spread as far as it normally does.

I tested the range on mot with the same build as in the stream and I got similar results. Its most likely due to the low range (145% range isnt that much for saryn, most people use at least 190% or 235%) and the low spawn rates in solo survival so spores couldnt really spread (they were also doing a lot of dmg).

No offense, but they can say that someone has been working on it for the past year and it doesn't make it true without any kind of proof, if they had begun rework on her that early in time then they should have mentioned something to the community instead of saying "Oh no this has nothing to do with response to SO we had this started in Feburary, sorry but I call BS on that, the timing is too convenient.

The proof is the first thing they show at the beginning of the stream, rebb shows a screenshot of what seems to be a small logbook entry from 16 feb. Do you really think pablo came up with this rework in under three weeks?

Again which makes no sense, my only conclusion is this reward will incorporate some kind of nerf to her kit that they are not explaining fully, I mean jesus Titania is a great example, another could be Valkyrie or even Nova, so many of these other frames should have been looked at long before Saryn, again this might have to do with the Onslaught and how well Saryn can clear the map with a proper spore build....you can't deny that the timing of the "rework" is fishy.

The saryn rework is something pablo has been working on since february, he disigned the first saryn rework, nidus and harrow. Rebb has specificaly said that this is not in response to SO and the rest of the team is most likely working on other things (they mentioned khora changes for the next devstream).

They don't say that though, they said that spores are popped by casting again, you need to place at least 3 spores on the enemy so that the damage scaling compensates with the range of current saryn, otherwise you can't spread the spores.

They showed it in the prime time pre-show (you can rewatch it on twitch), shooting at spores stil caused them to pop.

Wait, so spores are no longer required to be popped with a primary weapon and scale on the damage? Cause if thats the case thats a MAJOR nerf to Saryn's kit, and sounds like the changes are made because of recent onslaught and the massive number of Saryn players, I understand the majority of people use the tired and true method of Molt+spore+spray and pray to deal damage, however there are some of us who prefer a more hands on approach like with manually casting spores on enemies taking out your most powerful weapon and landing a headshot, a Lanka with a crit riven combined with saryns spores ment the map would die quickly,  it sounds like DE is once again dumbing down mechanics on a frame while at the same time nerfing them to the ground damage wise, now granted this might not be the case, if I can still pop spores with my primary weapon and scale my damage off that then thats fine, however if I can only deal spore damage by recasting the ability or scaling off my power strength then I'm done with the frame altogether and will chalk it up to another Frame that DE dumbed down with a nerf cause they couldn't handle the scaling the players could achieve.

You can still pop spores with weapons, so no worries there. You cant spread toxic procs anymore though, but you do get infinite escalating damage.

  7. I would go with something like this for the gammacor: https://goo.gl/jTffG4

This gives the weapon high damage with good status chance (and it only requires 2 forma). Anemic agility is slightly better since it also gives more status/sec. You can swap the elemental mods around ro get the combos you want.

Edit: for the staticor I would use this https://goo.gl/rz6ZwH

Staticor can get both radiation and corrosive, making it very good against the grineer. Elemental combos can be adjusted, just make sure you have at least 2 status mods.

Lanka: Apparently this build I put together does 54,758.10 damage in radiation per bullet. I use radiation because it does +75% to alloy and +25% to robotic which the Teralyst has both. I think it’s against a enemy with no defensive stats so that’s why the number is so high. (5 Forma) https://goo.gl/kqKx9M

According to Warframe builder, you do about 45700 damage each time you shoot. this means youll be doing 45700 X 5.23 = 239011 damage. The terralyst does have armor: Armor = Base Armor × (1 + ((Current Level − Base Level)1.75 ÷ 200)) for the teralyst: Armor = 300 x (1+ ((20-1)1.75 / 200)) = 600. This means the teralist has 600 / (600+300) = 0,67 damage reduction, or 67%. Damage recieved = Damage x (1 - damage reduction) = 239011 x (1 - 0,67) = 78870 damage. This is the approximate damage you'll do without damage bonusus from radiation, so its going to be even higher.

You do this much damage because the teralyst just doesnt have that much armor compared to higher level grinner. A lvl 100 heavy gunner has around 7500 armor for instance.

For Chroma I go max Strength, without Energy Conversion, (299%), 200ish% duration (Continuity, Narrow Minded and Constitution)  and eff/range being in the 40's. I compensate with Flow and Zenurik. Sometimes I swap Power Drift for Handspring, thus lowering str a bit. I think exillus is totally worth it. This for a damage/tank build (Ice). I use it mostly for Eidolon or Survivals. For the health mods I like (Primed) Vigour + Vitality, but if you dont have the 1st and prefer Steel Fiber, it's fine. Aura is a matter of preference imo, I use Rejuvenation.

    Hope I helped, cheers

    Thanks for the reply.

Should i go for more strength or duration? Im gonna have 5 slots left for dur and str (2def mods + energy mod), so i can either take all three duration mods with 2 str mods (blind rage + trans fortitude/intensify) or the opposite (not counting exilus).

Edit: something like this: https://goo.gl/LsrJT3 (rage cuz i dont have zenurik yet)

This would give me your stats if i maxed everything.

With rage you won't need flow. The first build looks all right, I'd just stick with rejuv so you can at least regen your life passively.

The second build has no mods in it.

Fixed the link to the second build. Is it worth to forma the polarity just to get reju? I was also thinking of getting the hirudo to get lifesteal sou i wouldnt need it.

  11. hi,

I recently aqcuired chroma and would like some help with a good budget build (no prime mods and 1/2 forma) . I managed to come up with 2 builds: an electric build for solo play and an ice tank build for high level stuff.

    Electric: https://goo.gl/3W1aJ1

Ice: https://goo.gl/a25tL9 (only mod I dont have is rage, but its not that expensive)

Any suggestions to improve these builds? For instance should I run streamline or flow and is en exilus mod worth the extra forma?
