Looks like you use kneel-toggle? I have to hold grinding (or kneeling) to keep grinding. When I press space to jump I release the grind button too and have no problems to chain tricks and grinds again.

Yes i do use kneel-toggle. K-drive should have is's own control settings separated from warframe controls. it would give much more freedom to choose controls and it would also make more sense. I'm actually really surprised, that this hasn't been the case in the beginning, since archwing has its own controls too.

  2. There is only one thing about K-Drive controls, that has bugged me.

It's that when grinding and then jumping i need to set grinding off, by clicking grinding button again, before i can do tricks between grinds. Jumping should by default overwrite grinding action, and if i want to grind again, i should need to activate grinding after jump by pressing grinding button again. It would make tricks between grinding much more fluid.

It might be just my personal preference, but at least it would make it little simpler and more sensible in my opinion.

Wrong, you can't voice complains on something that slipped into a system not build to work with it. I'm going to assume that we've all seen the devstreams that showed up melee 3.0 combat, it was smooth and played well, it looked to be fun. Again, these changes slipped in on a system that doesn't work with them in mind, the momentum and speed we are used to is tied to combos in melee 2.0, melee 3.0 is going to scrap all of that and change everything. It could also be that since these weren't supposed to be shipped live that they also haven't shipped properly on their own either and what we will get with 3.0 will work well.

    Not completely wrong, since...

better to voice concerns now, so if, IF, this is what they intend they know it’s not liked.

...Although you are right, that we have seen, how flowing and nice melee 3.0 should be, and therefore that statement is flawed in this case.

  4. Personally I like the new one more than old one. Yes, it has some problems, but I think those will be fixed in time.

About the emote wheel being behind tab or right click is not an issue to me, because usually, when i use emotes, i am not middle of fast paced battle, so it doesn't need to be there, next to gear wheel in the first place. So at least for me Tab/Right  click is the best solution.

  5. I would prefer if that existing 12% Status chance is converted to Critical chance, making it 43% Critical chance and 0% status. (It wouldn't make Paracesis even OP if you compare stats with Gram prime. Increased Critical chance and zero Status Chance would also make more sense, since it's supposed to be "Ultimate sentient killer".)

This happened to me too. I had a pretty tanky Nezha build too and Halo was up. There's no way they should be doing that much damage. It was like a couple minutes into a mission. Instantly exploded.

All of my other squishy frames were fine taking some damage. I wish I would've recorded it.

Problem is that title of this thread says > "Elite Alert's need to be deleted", and not "Elite alert's need to be fixed."

BTW. How does the enemy level scale in Elite Alert's Just asking by curiosity. (I haven't had time to try out yet.)

On an unrelated note, can you ignore users on this forum?

I'm very sorry if i have hurt your feelings with my font. I'm not doing it by purpose, but if you don't like it i'm still going to stick with my style.

Now we could carry on with actual subject of the thread and drop this nonsense.

I believe you've made a mistake in your formatting since your font color has been changed.

Unless you made it on purpose in which case you should stop trying to be a speshul snowflake and change it to normal anyway.

It's on purpose and if you got problem with my artistic ways, i am not going to change what i am.

Better prepare with sunglasses next time if it hurts to watch. 😉

I want to lift on table something, that has been bugging me as long as i have played Warframe. I'm talking about Leaderboards..
You may think, that this is something, that doesn't have anything to do with content drought, but i thing it's just that and big time.

    Why?

Because everytime i look at my achievements in leaderboard it looks like this:

    34e3ce5970c1704fe177dd3309b5b837-full.jp image hosting

It's so BORING even thing trying to do new record, because after a week, it will be wiped out. Breaking old records is something, that keeps me and very likely many other enjoying the repeat, that Warframe is so good at.
Lack of this system literally KILLS all the will to try and do the new best shot, because why the hell would anyone do it, if he/she can't feel good about his/her personal records after a short while, because for sure SOON THERE WILL NOT BE ANYTHING ANYMORE?

I get the idea of weekly records, but what i don't get is why there is NO Monthly, Best Of The Year and Best Of All Time?
As a side note: Why the hell there is title "Weekly"? It's like they forgot to add the rest.

IMO, this is something, they should address ASAP, because it should have existed at very beginning of the Warframe game. It's basic, that Warframe has been missing way too long. Making these "lists" would increase friendly competition astonishingly a lot. That's what i believe. (I hope, that this is already with the thing with the K-Drive. But probably.. i shouldn't hope too much of it.)

This have to do with content drought indeed because the biggest reason why players are feeling the drought is that DE stopped releasing "what keeps the game moving" AKA new frames, guns, etc and now we are left with the rest of the game. And little by little players are realizing how there is a MOUNTAIN of unfinished content. Things that they released in pre-alpha state and NEVER touched again. Things that really don't matter. And that's one of the biggest complaints that is being made in all these "content drought" threads: DE keeps pouring content like crazy (not anymore lol) but they never decided to polish whatever they have already released, making said content become dead and a literal joke inside the game.

Think about it, we could be playing clan vs clan Lunaro tournments, we could be doing actually decent Archwing missions, we could be fighting on clan wars, we could be fighting on PVP, we could have had a brazilion of bug fixes that makes some stuff literally unplayable, we could have more modern maps (some maps are still as old as 2013), we could be playing actually different missions in each planet instead of every capture mission playing literally the same way we play since Earth node 1. But nope, here we all are, stuck speedruning the same void fissure missions to farm, I dont know, ducats, hoping Baro will bring something nice, or just playing sorties and then logging out. What DE prefers to do instead is discharging more and more content that we will never touch again and they will never care about after its release. Greatest examples of recently: 1- Kuva Fortress, a gigantic, complex and beautiful tileset that has ZERO reasons for any players to go there; it took them 2 years to realize that earning Kuva in the KUVA Fortress would make sense so what they do instead is a rehashed version of a survival mission. 2- Iron Wake. It is just that Steel Meridian room we all find inside every relay ever, except it looks cool; but the ONLY use you ever get for that is to talk to an NPC once or twice and that's it. They spent hours, days making that place, adding detail... for it to be thrown away.

After thinking over night, and reading your post i think I might actually have hit very core of the Content drought, because lack of Leaderboards concerns every single planet and node. Also PVP and Lunaro would surely be positively affected by this fix, if it's done.

Maybe just fixing Leaderboards to as it should be could really bring some life even to deflection missions? No-one can tell, before it's done, but one thing is for sure, and that is that fixing  this would definitely make it better, not worse, because this is very core of any content, because it would instantly boost the fun everywhere.

  12. I think this has potential. I have been wondering, why we cant control priority what our pet/sentinel does during mission.

IMO, it would be pretty easy to solve, if there would be priority image on UI, when you have pet/sentinel equipped, and by pressing certain button it shuffles between different priorities (Passive / Guard / Attack / Scavenge / etc.) And image determining witch mode is currently in use will swap too ofc.

I mean system similar to arrow swapping of Ivara or grenade swapping of Vauban.

    Shouldnt be hard to implement.

And as I said, I don't see a need for it.  So rather than making assumptions that everyone wants it, it's only right that DE knows that not everyone feels that it's needed.

I think it's pretty clear that you don't need and don't want this specific thing to be changed. I mean look at how many posts you have in this thread so far spamming same message.

It's almost if you think that your post count matters more than the people requesting this. 😕

And i don't know if it ever crossed your mind, but if this would break the system DE would change it back. We got the best DE after all in Warframe!

  14. Rupesin etsimään suomalaista klaania, koska satun olemaan suomalainen.. Näyttäisi nämä suomalaiset olevan harvinaisia yhä tässä pelissä, eli valinnan vara on aika vähissä. 😕

Olen pelannut yli 3 vuotta Warframea (~2 vuotta tällä tilillä), mr17 eli kokemusta on suht hyvin.

IMO that's more down to the 'melee nerf' than anything, it went lower than that and then came back up.  It also hasn't been in the 700's since before the last visit by the acolytes, to the best of my knowledge it was in the 400-500 tops range, not that I keep track of everything.

How ever it is, the fact, that it's normal price development, that rare item price drops, when it spreads amongst people. When amount of people requesting item lowens, also price drops, because it's less lilely, that it gets sold in the first place, when there is so many selling item that is not rare anymore, though drop rate is still rare. It's called price war.

  16. 20 minutes ago, LSG501 said:

Not in my opinion it wouldn't, it would increase the number of people trying to sell at said high prices.  Just look at the high prices of 'premium' items such as maiming strike which haven't exactly lowered in price even though a a lot of people have them.

Not true. Maiming strike used to cost ~700 plat, and now it is ~350 plat. That is 50% drop in price.

  17. 2 hours ago, LSG501 said:

The difference is that you were happy with how much you got at the time, the only thing in hindsight is that you lost out on extra plat because you didn't realise something had been vaulted.

If you're purely about selling items for the most plat then like I said before it should be on the effort of the seller to get the max price, not for DE to make it 'easier' for them.  Besides it's not hard just to glance at the 'news' section to the right of the navigation every time you're in game, if you've been away long enough to miss any announcement then that's arguably your choice and DE doesn't need to cater for it.

As to you saying I'm siding with the greedy ones, in fact it's quite the opposite, I think some of the prices that people ask for on 'rarer' items is ludicrously expensive but the only way people will stop 'charging' those prices is if people stop buying them at that price but strangely people still buy them at the high prices....so who do you blame, the people charging those prices or the people paying those prices?  Hell I've given vaulted stuff away instead of trying to get plat for it....

It's pointless to take this conversation further. We are holding different ends of same stick, but our goal is same.

Imo marking relics would decrease prives of majority of sellers, since there would be more sellers, when supply of items would remain the same. Atleast almost same. (Same amount items, but more sellers = more price variety.)

It's logical to think that buyers would want to negotiate. Sadly negotiation stops right at the first try, and seller moves worhout warning right away to find bigger fish.

Thats why stuff will be sold only by expensive prices, if we have "veteran monopoly" as it currently is mostly. (And in this case i don't mean, that all of veterams are in this monopoly system. I just mean, that there is people like that, and they are ones I'm pointing at in this case.)

By categorizing relics it would definletly increase amounth of sellers, thus propably dropping the quantity of max price demanders and increasing selling rates and increasing income of DE at the same time. All of this + user experience would be upgraded.

I see only positive in this update idea.

I'm not negative, I just don't see any need for it, there's a difference.

Considering the information is actually better now than what it was when I started I don't understand how people are struggling to play the game.  It wasn't exactly difficult when I started and it's even easier now.  Yes you have to learn about modding frames/weapons etc and I agree in the need for a few tutorials to aid newbies who can't work it out for themselves but even as is it's not exactly rocket science.

I don't agree in the need for a lot of the information that is being put forward as 'QoL' when it isn't about QoL, it's about making life 'easier' for people selling stuff for plat.  IMO if you're going to trade plat instead of buy it then you should be prepared to put a little work into it (it's not exactly hard now), it's not like you're paying anything to get your plat.

It's not all about plat, since we are talking about relics here. But it does count partly.

I give you one of my experiences from my trading in the past as an example:

When Volt was vaulted i was unaware about this. I was just glad, when i was selling my last set. I gave it really cheap, because i was ignorant about this, but it wasn't all. The guy bought all my volt relics too. Because it wasnt visible in game i lost lot of potential plat for some veteran, who just took advantage of my ignorance.

With that kind of experience i can't agree with you, that it's not needed. Newer players get easily hoaxed by greedy players, and I'm seeing it the way, that you are siding with greedy ones, because that is only explanation i can come up to why someone wouldn't want to vaulted and unvaulted relics to be separated on different tabs.

As i said, this is not 100% about trading and even less about plat. Plat is just a handful of the problem we are talking here. To separate, what it is about:

(Knowing the true value of your relics.)

(Using your relics, way that you have chance to obtain vaulted set that you do not own yet.)

To not trade/sell them to hoaxer because your ignorance.)

(Not to accidentally use your precious relic you would want to radiant before use, to get part of rhe gear, you do not own, and its super important, since relic is not farmable anymore.)

(And lastly selling vaulted sets, if you own one already, but it's more propably that in th6ia case you are veteran rather than newbie, or atleast nearly veteran.)

So with my ridiculously bad math i get result, that indicates plat to be less than 20% of the problem here, so your argument is not even nearly viable. Though i do respect your opinion, but i can't agree, there being so much in it rather than only selling to get plat.

And we are not talking even about trading or selling here. It's still only about relics and defining what is what.

Then prove to me that the average player NEEDS this extra information, not the veterans who are only out to make plat from vaulted gear, the AVERAGE player. Every person in here asking for specific 'extra information' is a long term player, it's not the newbies asking for it.

Ask someone who have tried out Warframe but quit.

I am living with one quitter, and second is my brother. Reason is mostly only the messiness of information in game and  lack of information, that is stored outside of actual game. (Trying to get my partner to play too, because it would be more fun to me, but for convincing i need to explain my all information i have sucked in like sponge. Sadly it's not enough it seems.)

I also find information in game hard to find very often. I do love Warframe, and thats why i hope DE will give more love to information side improvements, that many are desiring.

Also i dont get it, why you are so negative about small and useful upgrade. And it's kind of against logic too, when you say that this is something that only long term players want. As i see it it's those, that are starting to play, or quitted. (If quitted players still would play. I think they re not here.. weird.. i wonder why?)

Imo this is just a tip of iceberg that should be adressed.
