I'm back in game after long years to play The Duviri Paradox, but I what I find are just new way for players to grief survival missions. Well done, DE.
We all know that now players can leave survival missions if they stay for one minute to the extraction, but this is sadly not a personal countdown. I was playing in Circulus, I told my random teammates (that I wish I could name and shame) that I would stay 20 minutes and that was it, I thought. I'm pretty sure these two guys were in voice call or something, because once I reached the extraction one of them followed me to the extraction, only to walk away a few seconds before the cooldown ended, which resets mine. I initially thought nothing of it since there were enemies around, but he kept doing it, always waiting for the last second before walking away. I even asked if they wanted to stay and the other guy said "Just wait for cooldown". Until of course, five minutes later the Thrax spawned and the vital support ran out, ending the mission in a failure.
I obviously blocked and reported but I can't believe DE purposely made things even worse for us. I used to not play survival missions on public over fear of people keeping me hostage in missions by refusing to extract, so I was more than happy to know about the possibility to extract on my own, but the shared cooldown is bull. I won't touch another survival mission in public until this will be fixed.
EDIT: I hope this won't pass as a complain. Of course I'm annoyed and I reported the players involved, but I also want everyone to know about this issue so it can be solved. The extraction cooldown should be personal.
