  1. None of what you said address any of the points I mentioned. Please don't tag me in your daily rant.
  2. The current reliable way to solo EDA is heavily reliant on outside random loadout. Necramech, archgun, specters and amp. Simply to bypass the random loadout. If the game mode really does make you think and build around a modifier then I'd find it fun too. However, looking at the current modifiers, its not like there's anything special required to work around it. Its largely you "cannot do x". Part of the complaint about random loadout isn't just that you need to use crappy loadout. It's crappy loadout you don't own. You increase your MR, you progressed the stories and earned strong weapons. Then the game suddenly gatekeeps you saying "You maybe an LR4 but you need an aklato to enter this mission". You don't find anything strange with that? Its one thing to fail a mission because you died, but another to be even unable to run it because you no longer own a low MR weapon because you replaced it with something better. Random equipment is a very common way to add replaybility in roguelikes. They achieve this by having pretty balanced equipment overall, with a couple of OP ones. Thus, you use rerolls to ignore ones you really don't like, then once in a while you get an op combination you get hyped about. This creates the highrolling hype. In roguelikes. The Random loadout is random. It seems like a challenge to use crappy weapon because warframe has so many MR fodder weapons. This is expected because warframe is ARPG. You progressively get stronger. You find better weapon, you get stronger mods. Players also has a function to simply vendor equipment. Thus, no matter the MR, per weapon, you have equal chance of rolling a akbronco or angstrum. Besides the fact the game has MR fodders there are a ton of overlaps. Just look at how many automatic rifles there are. If you look past the incarnon what's honestly so different about bazaP and bratonP? Other than you build them differently, over dps wise and such, not much. But even then, players have preference. I personally have bazaP but I don't own bratonP. I deleted that because it sounded horrible. But not having bratonP doesn't affect anything else because I have other automatic rifles as a substitute. About party, It's less about interacting, its more about other constraint. For example, do you care to find party for arbitration, spending say3~5min looking for members but you only care to run for 20min? Your friend wants to farm endo, but you want kuva. Do you have to farm both together? Or just farm separately and chat on discord while you farm. Apart from playing alone, warframe's solo mode is great because it has pause function. Thus, I can queue for fissure SP and do long around with breaks in between to take advantage of the long run bonus. You don't have to understand why people like to play solo or have little equipment. Each player can play however they want. You can run level void cascade with loki, I'd rather run it with mag. What matters is both of were getting it done and we were having fun.
  3. Maybe maybe not. But if you do not voice it, nothing will happen. Let me give you an extreme example. When aura slot was first introduced, installing aura mod costed you mod points. Yes, correct polarity meant it costed you 4 mod points instead of 7. By your logic, we shouldn't have said anything because nothing will come of it. This is EDA feedback page. You have every right to post how much you like EDA, while others have every right to post how much they dislike EDA. If that bothers you, quietly hit that back space and leave. And please. robust set of frames and weapons? what does that even mean? Is having 5 forma'd stug robust enough? who draws that line that a player has a "robust arsenal"? Let's not make stuff up just for the sake of arguing.
  4. No i agree with kit_kat_cat. I run EDA for the loots and purely for the loots. Thus I do it unwillingly. I'm not sure what your stance is. because when you say: It infers your stance of people are willingly abandon the rewards. But you're saying you did not run kahl because you hated it so much, even though the loot was good. Are you perhaps trying to say players skipped out kahl knowingly? Because "No normal person - who's not a bot - would just willingly abandon rewards" = "players would not happily agree to abandon rewards."
  5. You ran the khal mission even though you disliked it. For some players, the dislike was far greater than the shard's worth. It was a trade off. It's not a subject of willingness. Thus, driving the point, many player chose to ignore khal mission because they hated it to the point they're chose to give up that shard. The shard fusing is irrelevant to khal mission because it was introduced with the swap to the sanctum. Players did not have this information beforehand, thus the value of a normal shard is just a normal shard without any future potential value to it.
  6. And that tells you players hated khal missions that much. why do you think people disliked it? its because of its limitation. khal mission was fun the first couple of times, but its also exactly the same repeat. And DE just decided it will not be an evergreen aspect of the game. And I think its fantastic decision. Remove/rework what players do not enjoy and not everything has to be on weekly grind list. After all, if the game is not fun, there will be no player retention. Plus, chipper only offered regular archon shards. Considering EDA is 3 more chance than usual netracell for tau and legendary melee arcane, player retention on EDA will probably stay high, despite some people disliking it. I hate it but I will do it until there's a substitute for EDA. What DE should look at is what is the % of player doing premade carry swaps. If people are annoyed to the point they're willing to run 45min run TWICE for the sake of getting it done the easy way, it means its not fun.
  7. what do you mean? Its perfectly balanced logic in Roguelike to have NO REROLL even through weapon performance between best and the worst is heaven and hell difference. It is perfectly balanced for the game pick only 3 weapons even though just in secondaries alone can have 6 "unique" dual wielding hitscan automatic guns. Its all for the challenge. You don't have access to every gun you like, all the time. If you wanted that, you'd go play RPG shooter games. /s It's honestly real sad that the game is literally moving away from its core and some players are defending it. Restrictive weapon by type per week, or even top weapon restrictions, I'd understand as a challenge because nerfing the player is simply the easiest way to increase difficulty. I wouldn't like it, but I'd understand it, but random loadout? Even duviri had no place in being a part of a RPG shooter game.
  8. You are off base and what a passive aggressive post you wrote. Whether the player is LR4 with every equipment in game or LR4 with 10 equipment in each category should not be game's concern. It never was a forced aspect of the game. So all the players who are impacted by this has the right to react negatively. Players collect equipment based on what they deem worthy. I'm LR4, I have a lot of weapons but I don't have everything. Even if its prime, I hated how braton prime and pandero prime sounded. So I deleted that. And lets look at just one category of guns: secondary hitscan automatic dual wield. Very specific right? But even in that specific category, there are: afuris, akzani, akstiletto, kuva twin stubbas, twin grakatas, and twin vipers. You can keep them all, but you can substitute one for another from that list. Theoretically, if you enjoy aksomati prime, you build it for viral slash, you don't have the need to keep the rest. Because even within that category, there is one "best" out of the pack. Or maybe you think clem is the coolest and you have 5 forma'd twin grakatas. And if I tell that twin grakata enjoyer to ditch that and grab akstiletto prime, he got every right to say no. Also I don't get why you're putting so much emphasis on a simple title of master, but its just a rank title. For the sake of argument, it could have been "warrior" or any other words. Khal mission, if you don't like it, you can skip it. Yes you lose out 15 stock, but stocks are cumulative. Same with duviri. For decree, you can simply do anything else. Sure it is not skippable if it shows up as the 1/6 requirement, but you cant compare about 3~5min stage to a full weekly lockout. If this post was about a player disliking void cascade or eidolon hunt, the answer of "don't like it, don't play it" is true. Because you can get all the drops elsewhere. You don't like to play disruption? Then you can play different mission type and still get same relic rewards. The game gives you choices. And then there's EDA. If the personal modifiers were just way too hard, you make post "hey I can't do this week, how did you do yours?" There you can get some whacky answer but it could be the best solution to that week's EDA. If that is how EDA worked, that's cool and it indirectly gets players to build weapon pools. Sadly this is not how EDA works. Currently EDA is reward is shared only by Netracell. If you want more of that loot, EDA is the only way. Thus, unlike void cascade or eidolon situation, players cannot disperse toward what they like to play. That also means, as a game, it should have a way to meld variety of players need. Random loadout is simply random. DE did this in duviri because DE wanted some roguelike idea baked into duviri. Roguelikes do this because they have pretty good weapon balance with couple of OP choices. This creates an okay run for the majority of times while creating once in a while high rolling. This creates replayability. A lot of player seem to mistake random loadout as a "challenge". it is not. Because warframe has so many crappy weapons, the baseline of weapon compared to high rolling is heaven and hell difference. Thus this made you think its a challenge. But if random loadout's role was for a challenge, you should not be able to high roll. The OP and a lot of player here voicing to get random loadout removed isn't saying it because we got S#&$ weapons. It's simply to so we can enjoy EDA as a looter shooter. If your only argument against removal is that this will drop difficulty, why aren't you complaining about other aspect? gearwheel for archgun, necramech, and no modifier carries?
  9. Yes I believe it is same for everyone every week. The only "personal" aspect about the modifiers are the fact that it only applies to you. So you could take 3/4, I could take all, and someone could take nothing. Meanwhile, we're still able to queue for the same party pool.
  10. If anyone is still an EDA sympathizer after doing this week's EDA, and you think its fair that the mirror defense with about 1k heal after picking up 50 requiems while it health decay tick down more than that per second. Fight me
  11. The more you dislike the content, the more important is the time efficiency. The less time you spend in EDA, the more fun you can have on elsewhere, agreed? Thus Drachnyn's words are 100% true in that aspect. You aren't giving up on the rewards, you treat everything as a weight of importance in time efficiency. Finding a carry, or making a premade party to trade runs is definitely possible. But, while you do that, time is ticking. After you do one 8/8 for the eyeball display, you are far better off doing the run 7/8. Assuming you did the risk management correctly, you took off w/e modifier to make the run easier. This is faster than looking for premade or etc. Yes, trading a run is stressfree but the entire run of EDA takes about 45min or so. Sure the run will be shorter if someone is more geared, but the mission mechanics are literally made to make the mission longer. Alchemy with mobs that can only die to correct amphor? This will simply block spawns because 2 amphors for the crucible will never be used on the mob. So if you did 2 runs for trading 8/8, call it 35min each, and if you do 7/8, you can take nice gun and run a pug run no prob in 45min. Is that last reward worth 25min? Not really since running SP survival in that time frame, just considering the arcanes, you get 5 SP arcanes in that time. that's 100 vosfor. And even if that 50 vosfor was a better reward, I'm not taking it. By going 7/8, if I can shave off a few min, I'm taking that. Faster I get out of EDA, happier I will be. (Another point, but it is sad it is the most recent end game content is simply boring as hell for a lot of people. I can't find a single aspect of EDA that makes it fun) Considering it is more rewarding version of a netracell, we're not going to get more reward out of it. While 50 vosfor looks like a crap reward, it is there to grant us 1 freedom in modifier. I agree random loadout is crap way to add replayability. Maybe it will be changed in the future. Until then we just have to cope with it by reducing time spent there. Not this week, but you can always use the gearwheel and summon your gravimag'd archgun. After the buff, weapons like cortege is pretty good if you viral heat build it. Plus, you can summon necramech. especially if you lack aoe. I use bonewidow because it gives more freedom in movement. The worst part of EDA is not that it forces us to use crap weapons. The worst part is that the newer players likely won't have the weapon pool and won't even be able to attempt to get the rewards. The biggest gatekeeper in the most recent end game isn't skill nor game knowledge but having wide variety of crap weapons? That is absolutely stupid. As a LR4, even I'm sure I chucked out more than 3 unique names of weapons in each weapon category. That means there could be a week I don't have the weapons available (if all weapons have equal appearance chance, its mathematically very unlikely, but it is not zero).
  12. It sucks getting limbo like you (and it really sucks you got triple shafted there with other frame choices), but you can make a use of most frames. Weapons though, the pool is so large but there aren't that many good weapons. Thus it creates the baseline at lower level, building a hype for high rolling top tier weapons. In most positive way, this is comparative to watching a terribly reviewed movie for the sake of fulfilling your curiosity to know why is it so badly reviewed. You watch the movie with it having low expectation, you walk out "you know what? it wasn't as bad as I thought it would. This scene was actually pretty good". If the review put it at 1/10 and you think its 2/10, it still means movie was crap. I'm sure you feel frustrated for being unable to contribute to the party as much as you wanted. Staying with the movie comparison, I'm sure you would and I definitely would like to choose what movie I get to watch. After all, people watch movie and play video game for fun. I'd like to have fun.
  13. Agreed. Can't count how many times I had to repeat the #1 that random loadout is not a challenge. Considering how many MR fodders we have, it causes majority of the runs to be bad experience, making that our baseline. Thus, whenever we get a decent roll, it make us feel good that we "won" a lottery. Since this is just a small piece of the game, it won't have huge impact. However, this ideology is actually very detrimental in a person's mental health. Really do not understand the point in random loadout. look at akstiletto, afuris, azkani, kuva twin stubba, aksomati, twin grakata, and even twin gremlin. Compare primes and just kuva twin stubba, they do about the same damage. And very small difference of aksomati having spooling mechanic and gremlin being not hit-scan all of the listed guns are simply dual wielding secondary with minor IPS ratio difference. So its largely redundant. I have all of the listed except twin grakata but couple of them arent even forma'd. Other than aksomati prime and afuris prime, rest do not get to see a glimpse of use. It's simply kept for the sake of having the prime. If someone was to be efficient with their plat usage, its very possible the player didn't even keep half the dual wield guns listed above, since their functionality highly overlaps. I understand there will be similar guns with minor differences and such and I have no problem with that. I will gladly farm the next twin automatic hitscan guns just to see if I like the sound better or something. But it is irresponsible for the game to do an equipment check when you do have that many similar guns. Plus, the game mode itself, I don't know. I feel like the missions are simply made to be annoying without any pre-thoughts in the designs. Disruption spawns two mechs? why? Alchemy mobs where you have to use correct amphor? well guess what, no one will throw two of the amphor designated for the crucible on to the mobs, so that will significantly reduce the spawn rate. Mirror defense where defense target is lv98 while enemy is lv383? Is it really a challenge to try to protect a paper thin defense target? And heat proc on collecting requiems? game mode really puts a strong emphasis on having a health mod by having constant chip damage everywhere. It's honestly not challenging nor interesting. I purely run it for the reward, just like circuits.
  14. The game can create a situation where one weapon is not fitting by making it less efficient to pull people away from it. Example, devouring attrition does not work on acolytes, status is capped to 4 on a lot of boss type enemies. Assuming you're thinking of making EDA as a progressive type with point accumulation system, since you talked about using lower tier weapon for more progress, arbitrary challenge for more progress is pretty good situation. Currently, the full run this week takes about 45min. That is a significant amount of time. Without double progress point, if you are required to run twice, maybe even three times that is insane amount of time required. Netracell solo time of about 10min is pretty average. With that said, EDA 5 reward giving 45min or so is good. If choosing top tier weapons makes you require more runs, the reduction in time efficiency can be huge deciding factor for the players putting time efficiency on high priority while those who doesn't care can go around in their favorite gears.
  15. Not sure why you're trying to make it sound like EDA is an old content where players powercreeped past it by saying "End game here is an illusion , it changes and moves away as time goes on.". It literally released less than 2 weeks ago. It's not an illusion. It is the newest content that support the highest starting level mobs with higher drop chance of legendary melee arcane, which was previously only available in Netracell. I don't crop other person's reply to fit my narrative like you do. My wording was addressing you talking is if random loadout is added for the challenge aspect. My answer was: "Random loadout is not made to make the mode "challenging". It is a random modifier. it can high roll as well as low roll. If DE wanted this as a challenge, all DE had to do was restrict players from using top 10~20 weapons. At least this way, I can still pick with my playstyle in mind because its not a 3 weapon restrictive "choices."" Last time I checked, just in primaries we have 50+ of them without counting and variants. 30+ weapon choices are far less restriction than 3. If you like the current state of it, great. Fun is subjective. That is why my previous line still stand "If DE is shaking the bait of end game reward to pull in all the end game players to this content, it better be able to cover a large amount of players base's need and keep them having fun if we are to do this every week." I have never said reward is bad nor talked about premade as a topic of coop. Even from a quick glance at this DA feedback section you can easily tell a lot of player are not liking the random loadout. Thus, the premade is mentioned as a last resort that players will simply treat it as a weekly todo list and form a premade to get it out the way. Because for players, including myself, that does not enjoy random loadout, if I'm not having fun, I'll simply take the most stressfree way to get the reward and get out so I can do content I enjoy.
  16. Don't say I hijacked a post when my first reply was directed to you on this topic. You decided to skip over that and reply to me addressing another issue and clipped the portion to make it sound out of context.
  17. In warframe MR requirement is the crude indicator of weapon's powerlevel. This will never change. There always will be outliers like kuva weapons or duviri melees but MR2 weapon will never compete with an MR 14 weapon. And while you're putting your opinion down as this player is complaining, I can do the same saying your "feedbacks" are only complaints. EDA is an end game content and the diamond reward is on 7/8. Call it DE throwing us a bone for the diamond reward not being at 8/8, but it still does mean you need to take 3/4 random loadout for the reward. It's not a "option". no one chooses to get less rewards in an end game content. If DE is shaking the bait of end game reward to pull in all the end game players to this content, it better be able to cover a large amount of players base's need and keep them having fun if we are to do this every week. And since you're mistaken, let me clarify. Random loadout is not made to make the mode "challenging". It is a random modifier. it can high roll as well as low roll. If DE wanted this as a challenge, all DE had to do was restrict players from using top 10~20 weapons. At least this way, I can still pick with my playstyle in mind because its not a 3 weapon restrictive "choices." Most importantly, if I make premade, I can just trade runs and get carried with 8/8 and carry the team after. EDA isn't hard or challenging. Random loadout just make it more boring than it should be.
  18. exactly the point why i made my post. remove the random loadout restriction, replace it with a challenge. You can use whatever gears you want because that is fun to you. But game will offer you a challenge, for double progress or something. These challenges could be very general ones like "you deal normal damage for 10 seconds, then you deal no damage for 10 seconds" and even very specific ones like "harpak harpoons explode in 15 meters". Maybe even throw in some dps boost as well. Not saying to bring harpak upto top tier dps, but bring up the dps by 50~100%. Even with that, it's not anywhere close to top tier weapons. It's purely so mission time isn't like 30min a mission due to lack of dps. Since 3 mission in EDA is already long mission for the sake of being a long mission. Having interesting gimmick for EDA is far more enticing reason to own a bad weapon like harpak than the current reason of being forced to own it for paranoia reason. Because if people still keep harpak in their inventory after the change, its because people WANT to keep it, not being FORCED to keep it. Also, been always saying, duviri unowned bias should be replaced with unlevelled bias. This way, even if its vets they might see a fresh forma'd weapon to use. Yes it does open up for extreme edge case where players would forma weapon they want to use in duviri to increase its chance, but that's fine, its at a cost of a forma.
  19. If the liminus just walked entire time and only "sprinted" if everyone's outside the tileset, then its just playing ring around the rosie. it is kind of fun. BUT even in the same tileset, from what I can note, about 25m or so? if everyone is outside that range, the liminus suddenly sprint toward one of the player. its actually fast. then it turns on the aura. I had my teammate go down to this twice. The only upside of this week is that transference distortion is not on the list, so if player goes down, you can pick em back up even inside the liminus aoe in operator form.
  20. The 5 reward it gives out is actually pretty rewarding. it significantly boosted our chance at farming tau shards and legendary melee arcanes. Thus, its a little overkill to replace vosfor with another useful reward. So its basically DE giving us a one modifier freedom to take 7/8 and be done with it. Other than that, this week was more boring than last week. Alchemy for non host can break and the amphor icon disappear, making non-host no idea what the correct amphor is. Plus, 2 of them, you're never going to use it on the mob so the mobs are literally sitting there and blocking the fresh spawns, simply dragging the run. The mirror defense, I don't know if you noticed the defense target's level, its 98 while the mobs are 380s. If you try to solo it, it will get shredded. I feel like this is duviri's defense target issue all over again. DE can call it a challenge, there isnt much of challenge when you don't have the freedom to build to prepare for it. And the last one, liminus blinding vitreum was crazy. Biggest annoyance is that once you are zoomed in, its hard to notice the liminus. The description literally says "Slow moving, immortal, Duviri Liminus drain Health and Energy from allies who get too close." No where does it say "will sprint in ghost form to chase you if you travel too far out." I like the idea of liminus keeping us on toes to keep moving, but it shouldn't deal that much dmg if it can spook on someone. its about 150 a tick? its pretty big chunk, basically forcing health mod to be equipped on everyone. Idk if its intended or not but currently you can magus lockdown it and seem to lose its dmging aura in the time it's stunned.
  21. Agreed, the modifiers make us read it to understand but that is it. No one's going to read modifier "cannot use gear wheel" and go "oh that's interesting". After that, the random loadout is simply equipment check in the most positive light. Reality is that, it's to give players the illusion of fun by high rolling once in awhile, but making the rest of runs miserable. It's an illusion because crappy weapon runs are so common that it becomes your baseline, thus when weapon choices are above that you "feel lucky" and maybe it rolled a weapon you like and you could have fun. I've made a post saying rather than making those personal modifiers and loadout modifiers being needing to take 7/8 for diamond reward, it should be something that's much harder but alter the way we play to feel different. So remove the random loadouts, entice us with a modifiers like " Valkyr's hysteria has 500% range but maximum duration of 5 seconds with 10 second cooldown. and duration cannot be extended." Is it op? not really, there are better melee's out there. But since this is an experience I cannot get anywhere else I'm willing to take it even if there are other frames that could suit the missions better. In this week, its the fragmented one at the end. It is actually a boss fight worthy to call it boss fight. However, with damage attenuation and hp it gained from being Lv400. The effective hp gain was insane, it was literally 5% mechanic 95% bullet dumping. The fragmented one has downed state mechanic, if it could take a ton of dmg during that state, it would shift the focus from just ammo dumping into actually doing the mechanics.
  22. EDA isnt difficult it's just equipment check at this point. Can't even call it a gear check since all you need is 1 decent weapon out of three you pick. Since common sense is becoming not so common these days, I agree its testing game knowledge. But at the same time, it's not testing anything new. Reduced ammo, no consumables, 10m energy drain, take a status when you take a dmg. In the entire EDA, the modifiers are the only thing new, but its not very different to feel the interest. Its about 15min per mission, with total of 45min ish for full run. Is the loot pretty decent? Yes. Is it fun? No. Especially today, the alchemy has mobs you need to hit em with the correct amphors to kill it. but if you're not the host, you could lose the correct amphor icon so you have no idea what it is. And even if you knew, its 4 elements, and since you're busy using 2 of those element on the crucible, the left over ones will stick around to simply block spawns. It's not hard, it's just waiting game. Plus, considering fragmented one is the last mission, I thought it might be pretty fun, but it wasn't as fun as I expected due to how much hp this thing got from levels. Mechanics were still pretty engaging, but majority of fight was just dumping bullets into it.
  23. Which is my entire point of the post. It's boring because its nothing new and its just annoying because of restrictions. You can do EDA with harpak if needed, but it will take much longer than if I was to run it with Laetum. DE could have put in a restriction by weapon tiers, where highest dps weapons like laetum will be lowered to match the dps to harpak and people would still use laetum over harpak. For one, you probably have fully specced latum but probably not even catalyzed harpak (if you haven't chucked it). Secondly, you don't have good memory of using this weapon. If DE's idea of forced loadout is with some idea of balance by offering something fun in return, Example would be, if high tier weapon shows up, it's offered as is, but any low MR weapons would be offered with dps increase (just bump it enough to feel good to be used in lv400s I'm not expecting it to deal 10m a click dps from harpak) and make harpak harpoons now explode in 15m or something. Then I'm interested to try out. But making such "balancing" for each low tier weapons just to balance patch is just inefficient. Hence, the suggestion in the initial post. The biggest belief I disagree with deep achimedea is that EDA is for "end game users". End game users should be getting FASTER progress (because they're more geared), not MORE progress is my thought. Because by implementing accumulative progress, anyone can reach final reward as long as they put in the time. This will encourage players to play more or want to get stronger. Because right now, warframe got a lot easier on the first few MR to progress through but the middle MR progress a little dull. I'm hoping if EDA's bar is lowered a bit, it could help those players feeling the "starting to get bored" with the initial pool of archon shard and stuff faster.
  24. The unowned bias does not exist for DA/EDA. While that was the premise behind the duviri's unowned bias, in reality, it would be far better to have unlevelled bias. While it maybe open for manipulation to forma w/e you like to increase its appearance in duviri, its far more useful and harmless. Even without the unowned bias, the weapon pool is so large that new players aren't likely to see same choices often
  25. DE did it in durivi and in EDA(elite deep achimedea), decided to really put focus on hoarding everything. Because in duviri, it has unowned bias, meaning if you do not own it, it is more likely to show up. The term FOMO - fear of missing out, is too true for these two game mode. While DE removed some rng from rewards, there are still way too much rng in warframe. The random loadout being only a tip of the iceberg and its crazy how DE keep introducing more rng without removing any. Ya'll even tried to get crewmate for 0/0/5/5/5 with primary or secondary crit chance perk? 150+ days every 8pm reset and I only have ONE 0/0/5/5/5 crewmate with pistol crit, and 1/0/4/5/5 with rifle crit. The EDA isn't fun nor is it challenging in any way. Never have I seen an end game content where you could be locked from getting full rewards only because you do not own some specific weapons you would never use outside of EDA. Plus, since this week is the first one, if you cannot get 8/8, you cannot even unlock elite version. Even in elite version, you still need to take 7/8 modifiers to get all the important rewards. The game mode is simply 3 missions mashed into one. The personal modifiers do provide some "challenge," the rest provides nothing. The frames and weapon choices aren't even grouped for any synergy or build ideas in mind, it's just purely random. The random loadout simply makes player power disparity. I don't even think the devs play tested EDA, if they did, there's no way they'd release such a boring end game content. And it doesn't provide any challenges. Challenge and restriction is the flipside of a same coin, if a player goes "I bet I can do that" and build around the concept to clear it, its a challenge. But in our case, EDA simply says "you cant do this, you can't do that". Thats just a restriction. At the end of the run, all I could say was "I'm done for the week"
