  1. Not necessarily. The end point from the pity can be stat types not stat values, so rolling with 4 pitied stat types would roll the values of each. Allowing you to better cater your riven from the point you get your desired stat types. Lets just say you have a riven with crit chance, crit damage, damage and a negative, the spread of the stat values can change how valuable that riven is, even with 4 desired stat types. Higher crit chance might be preferred in some cases because it knocks you from under 100% to over 100% or lower crit chance might be preffered if the extra crit is not needed to get above 100% and you would rather be increasing the crit damage.
  2. 4 stat types that you want. The pity should be for locking in specific stat types in my opinion, not stat values, so the determined end point is always on the user of the riven so doesn't need a 'blanket end point' for all.
  3. I absolutely think we should have some kind of pity and I think anyone who disagrees completely likely just wants to make big plat off rivens and does not care about whether the system is healthy or fair. I think it should be done in the form of stat locking (the stat type not the value). I think something like every 25 rolls giving you the choice to lock in one of the 4 stats and keep rerolling without losing it would be great, once you hit 100 rolls it would have all 4 stats being able to be locked in and you would just need to keep rolling until you have all 4 desired stat types to lock it in. Once all 4 are locked rolling should only change the stat value. Which keeps reason to roll even after getting desired stat types, without completely risking your stat types in order to get the value spread that you want. I'd even say an increased kuva cost for rolling per amount of locked stats is justified. Though I think it's less necessary, I'd also like something to cater a riven to a particular weapon; even if it makes the riven untradable (temporary preferably but I'd even deal with it being permanent) to avoid exploiting the system to always get the rivens for new weapons and sell them for big plat day 1. And even if its handed out in even more limited amounts than umbra forma is.
  4. I believe (and hope) it gives 5000 on pickup then gets the bonus gain, since it says "additionally", describes the points as a bonus, doesn't speak of removal or replacement, and is being done under the justification of reducing time investment of focus gain. I'm not a dev so don't take my word as absolute but this is my speculation.
  5. Yes, you are correct there, and I would agree atlas is worse in that regard (It's one of the reasons I avoid using him, even though I enjoy his theme and the rest of his kit). Just think there's more we can and should use to justify this than just a single warframe, and there might be others who could benefit from it too. (Though where it gets difficult I think is the fact that some abilities are hold abilities, and while these specific examples aren't, it might cause conflict or issues if it's not accounting for all warframes that could suffer from spam problems, though I will say double tap and hold the second tap might be a suitable way to handle that. Lavos is one example, while I don't really find myself needing to spam his whip, holding the button has purpose so it's not necessarily a simple fix and given his kit isn't the most straightforward as it is, adding more depth to the controlling of it might make things feel worse so think we should try and consider as many warframes as possible here)
  6. I find tidal surge a much more fun and engaging ability (it's the most fun part of his kit for me) and so think it's much more valuable to the kit if something has to go. And with the changes I think it's going to be even more fun. I can't support this at all. I could however support putting undertow, a similarly reworked ability or the new ability (while keeping undertow but reworking it at the same time because I think it needs work to be a healthy part of his kit for users and team mates), as a hold ability for tidal surge.
  7. Khora too. +1 to this, please help save my keyboards. Playing warframe over the years has ruined 3 mechanical keyboards for me because of stuff like this (my e and 1 key are screwed on every keyboard I've had to replace, mostly in part because of my twisted spine causing uneven pressure and strong fingers but can be mitigated by not having to spam the button), it's at the point I avoid playing things like this to extend the life of my keyboards.
  8. I can't (and shouldn't be able to) dictate what warframes other people choose, so when their warframe is directly taking my fun away I can't actually do anything to change that, it's not actually my choice. So, the healthy option in my opinion is to ensure that warframes aren't actively taking so much fun away from others, so that your choices aren't impacting OTHER people. It's also a genuinely terrible solution if I actually want to use the frame for every other ability it has. I want to use hydroid, that's part of the problem.
  9. Happy to see some improvements for Kahl, I think it's a great first step towards making kahl great and hope there is more to come in future. I hope that the next step, if any, for kahl, is the introduction of procedural missions akin to regular warframe missions, giving an alternate source of stock without having to play the specific missions, because while I find them fun, they do not have as much replayability as regular warframe missions, and it's hard to motivate myself to keep playing them because I burn out, but being able to earn more stock or giving more methods of getting my weekly stock without burning out from repeating the missions is what I want the most out of Kahl's systems right now (Even if both the narmer missions and hypothetical procedural mode have the same combined total stock cap, resulting in not needing to fully complete both the missions and procedural mode to get your weeks worth), if it were like this I would feel more inclined to repeat the missions when I want to play them, and I think I would enjoy them a lot more if that were the case, as well as having more missions available, and being able to choose which mission you are doing that week after having unlocked it from initial completion, rather than waiting for the mission I want to play coming back into rotation. This is the one I personally care most about here so only going to touch on the other stuff here. Rivens as rewards instead of incarnon is a great move as well, as I get closer to having all the incarnons I want, I was worried I'd be losing reason to play circuit so this is good. Extra rivens are pretty much always appreciated, but I think it might also be good to be able to also choose kuva instead of rivens, as there are already rivens in the circuit rewards and people might already have all they need, so having a boost to their investment of what they're already earning from circuit could be really good as well. Focus changes sound good, having an initial flat focus gain without needing to kill alleviates one of my biggest gripes with focus orbs, completely wasting the orb because there's no enemies/I picked it up before a round/map change etc. so this sounds like a healthy addition. Shield, stat and mod changes sound really healthy for the game too but can't really comment until I have my hands on it.
  10. It was the least fun skill for me. I do think it would have been great to be reworked into another ability though, albeit with some considerable changes to how it works. That's why this change is something I support (And why I would support changes to saryn and other frames), people don't care about my fun with what they choose, so it probably shouldn't actively take my fun away from me. And shooting a puddle just isn't fun for me.
  11. I'm really disappointed that nothing can be done now to introduce a more accessibly priced pack for people who don't want to spend $100+/- on the skins, and while I can be happy with the current packs value, and it would be the one I would buy, it really doesn't sit well with me so I still haven't purchased it. Let alone the fact that there is a predatory trap with the amount of regal aya you get vs how much it costs to get the best value out of your regal aya, needing to purchase more than you need to complete the purchase for best value of spent regal aya. I believe you when you say that you will do better next year, but it is really disappointing and disheartening if nothing more can be done this year, especially if we don't know what's going to happen with it. I understand the FOMO situation is hard to deal with because of how and what was presented to us when it was, but I feel like the other two issues mentioned above could still be fairly addressed.
  12. It definitely has similarities. But when I played it, it didn't make me feel like I'd ever pick it over warframe or destiny, at most play as a side game to those (though been enjoying synced more for that to be honest) It's possible this is one of their games that wont be straight up disgusting, but I've been burned hard by them so am adamant about them being scum (purchasing a permanent $80 item in a game a few months before they removed it entirely from the game, was refunded like $10 worth of nexon coins for it and then they added the item back in the game as a temporary purchase without giving it back to me, basically straight up stole $70 from me then they basically abandoned the game eventually selling it to others who ruined it further)
  13. Replace the orbs that trigger focus gain with an orb that gives bonus focus, and have focus permanently gained (as long as maxed with lens) with no trigger.
  14. I agree, they killed Destiny for me already, so I guess can't kill what's already dead. The moment I wasn't able to play DLC I paid for, and recently before it was removed, and still hadn't even finished, was the moment I considered it dead and have vowed to never touch their games again. But, were that not the case and Destiny was in a healthy spot, I still wouldn't consider this game a destiny killer because it doesn't hit the same feel as it did for me when I played Destiny. I don't see it as a destiny killer not because of Destiny's quality, but just because this game doesn't hit the same feel as Destiny did for me.
  15. I highly doubt that purely because it's nexon. Nexon are disgusting, their monetization is disgusting, their management of games is often disgusting, and apparently their management of their staff is even often disgusting. The game looks alright, but it doesn't look like destiny or warframe either, there's not a part of me that believes this is a destiny/warframe killer.
  16. No, but if you ask they often let you swap it for something else because they understand you might not want all of it but it is still considered into the price of the item, that's the key thing people are wanting here, consideration that we might not want all the bloat and accessibility to what we actually want. Games and food are a bit different too, so they don't need to be treated exactly the same. And there's reason for burgers to account for all the toppings even when taken off too, because if those toppings aren't used they can still go to waste, costing them the same money, while DE don't actually have to waste the skins with limited accessibility and bloated packs that deincentivizes buying the skins because they quite literally could release it infinitely so long as the game is running etc..
  17. I agree with the sentiment that it should be removed (or maybe just nerfed) but I'm not sure I agree with your whole post. My reasoning is more that I think it's just silly to remove something (Removing the knockdown) that reinforces the need for awareness. I think it actively dumbs you down if you use it because you're not going to actually think about what you're doing, why, where, how etc. because the mod just skips all that and lets you ignore it.
  18. It actually kinda annoys me that they have that much, they couldn't possibly be using it, so it's surely just going to waste. "Why?" is all I can think of... Name 1 thing that earns you 1 million platinum please, get any more than 1 thing and I'll be impressed before getting even remotely close to a dozen.. 1 million platinum isn't exactly impressive as far as I'm concerned (I don't think it's something that takes skill or anything so doesn't impress me), it's ABSURD.
  19. Kuva buzlok, kuva grakata, kuva twin grakata, kuva marelok, kuva stug, tenet lanka, tenet amprex, tenet convectrix.
  20. It's not the same though. And you said banner character, not any 5*. First purchase does not get you a banner character in 90 pulls. It's 90 pulls for a 50/50 chance at the banner character and another 90 for the guaranteed banner character. 180 wishes x 160 gems = 28800 gems. Without the first top up bonus requires 4 purchases of the $100 USD pack giving 8080 each time, with about 20 wishes worth left over from $400. With first time bonus purchasing every available amount once gets you 26160 gems, requiring another 2640 gems for a guaranteed banner character, which is another $50 purchase on top of the $201 USD for purchasing each pack once. So even with first time top up bonus that's still $251 for a guaranteed banner character. It is not even remotely comparable to warframes pack in how much you get or how much it costs.
  21. no its not. In genshin and star rail its like $300-400 for a guaranteed banner character WITHOUT A 5* WEAPON and WITHOUT DUPLICATE UPGRADES ONLY OBTAINABLE BY MORE PULLS. The only way you're getting a $90 banner character is either incredible luck or having grinded already and skipped several other banners. Which is a level of grind with added spending that does not respect you as a player or your time. Plus having systems like skipping one of your days from the monthly gem pass if you don't log in rather than just pushing it back, shows they do not respect you. They will literally take your money and for all they care you could not be able to play the game and lose the entire monthly purchase. I wholeheartedly think Warframe does not need an auto battler and that genshin/star rail are genuinely terrible examples to use as to how to manage a game because their business model is genuinely disgusting.
  22. I'd personally want improvements to the forma system to make the incarnon system better (at least for me), as it is now I actively avoid investing in most non primes/etc., and since I don't want to invest in a weapon unless it has a special variant I don't really want to go for it's incarnon either, especially since the last time I did this I started putting forma in a weapon just for them to release a prime variant just a couple months later. I love the incarnon system as it is, though I wont say no to improvements or additions, I'd just much rather see a system that transfers forma from a non prime/etc. to the prime/etc. to avoid a complete loss of investment so I can justify getting incarnon for any weapon, rather just the ones that have special variants.
  23. But doesn't rhino, both prime and non prime, have a codpiece? Isn't that literally interpretive of genitalia? While Gara Primes dangly bits are far more in line with what I interpret as kusazuri (samurai armoured skirt things which her design clearly uses)?
