  1. Yeah seriously! would be cool to see more, I myself will try to make more
  2. So basically... I'm definitely not the first person to make one or anything related to it, but similar to how those cool call of duty edits or any other game edits you can find on YouTube which one of my favorite channels to watch edits is T3C, I wanted to make something to kind of express that I suppose. I'm also going to ramble about stuff if you do care to read it 😂 - I edited footage in Adobe After Effects, Color grading and special effects have been added to achieve the visual it is a lot more work than recording regular cinematics. Recording scenes in Captura: We all know captura is a great tool to take screenshots and it has plenty of features available to make the perfect image. There is an advanced camera which, it is pretty useful for saving your camera settings, angle and lighting, and it can also be great for recording cinematics. There is a great video on YouTube which you can find here. He gives a great tutorial on how to make great captura shots as well as other tricks to get certain poses and stuff like that. However, there are very few if not no tutorials on how to actually record cinematics in captura, which is understandable considering that its really mainly a tool for capturing a still image but luckily there is a amazing tutorial specifically for the purpose of recording cinematics by Relentless Zen which is by far the best tutorial and may even be the only tutorial for that sole purpose. Camera Setup: The first thing you want to do is setup lighting before anything else and then you can set up your cameras, you can also have settings saved to each individual camera if you want to play around with that but to keep it consistent you can leave it alone, the only thing you may need to change is the exposure to make sure your clip isn't too dark or too bright. You can preview your camera setup by playing it and you can adjust the speed according to how you like it if it is too long. So now how do you record a cinematic? Now that your cameras are set up you want to go back to the menu and do this: 1. (Optional) Enable slow time and set your slow time speed to whichever you want. 2. Toggle 'Advance Time' and then press the 'Advanced Time' button. 3. Head back to the Advanced Camera Controls and play your camera setup and enter cinematic mode. Alternatively you can do it manually, when you're in freecam mode and advancing the time you can pretend you're flying a drone. However there is much control when you're using the advanced camera since you can set it up exactly how you want it and it'll also be smoother. My cinematic which I had at the beginning and also the end of this post I've done it that way. Then, time should be moving while your camera setup is moving. and you can create a cinematic just like this: "Life in Cetus" by Relentless Zen Compared to the style I'm going for which is mentioned in the beginning of this post I want to create like some sort of action in the cinematics like killing grineer or something. At the end of the day what makes it great is a story to be told. Your first work isn't going to be the best but overtime and with practice you will always improve and get better each time. We all start from somewhere. Hopefully this post inspires people to create, or that I find myself in a part of the community. Who knows? There's a place for everyone. Anyways I appreciate anyone who stumbles upon this, thank you for your time.
