  1. The infested, arguably, should be the stronger of the three factions that are prevalent in the origin system. Being able to merge with any material, whether organic or inorganic, makes them a much more formidable threat that should be dealt with before the problems rampages. This thread will go over a few improvements to the infested and how it will improve the difficulty curve with the faction.

    New Infested Types

    • Pre-infested units
    • Mini hive-mind bosses

    New Infested Abilities

    • Assimilation
    • Evolving

    Infested Mechanics

    • Infested Mass
    • Missions and etc.

    New Infested Units

    Pre-infested units

    • You always see the infestation when everything has taken effect, but what about when the infestation is starting? The first victims of the infestation outbreak, these poor individuals were caught in the ensuing mass of infestation that broke out and are on the verge of converting. They retain some sentience, but not enough where they can pull the trigger to end their own miserable existence. You'll see these demented souls stumbling around in mainly in outbreak missions and rarely in regular infested tile-sets, either fighting with whatever weapon they had once infected or either flying face first into open gunfire.

    Mini hive-mind bosses

    • Think the Juggernaut, but more of them. These units will spawn when Infested Mass has reached half or full critical state (will be explained more later on). The Juggernaut can be reworked into a mini hive-mind boss as a huge amalgamation of mass that tries to impede whatever threat the infestation sees. These bosses can give buffs to other lesser units around as they can act as a collective hive-mind to strengthen their efforts.

    Infested Abilities

    Assimilation

    • "The Infestation spreads across the Origin System – a techno-organic parasite that attaches itself to natural and synthetic forms, slowly digesting the host subject and transforming it on a molecular level." -Infestation Fragment
    • There you are, roaming about on Eris, you find a lone crawler near some infested mass, you ready your gun when suddenly it sprouts some legs and charges directly at you. In the end you shoot it down because you'll be damned if you get cut down by a lone crawler turned runner. Infested units, when given the chance, will always try to assimilate new material in so they themselves can get stronger, and assimilating enough material will cause mutations.

    Mutations

    • As said before, when a unit assimilates enough material they start to mutate. Infested units go through 3 stages of mutations. First Stage is its basic stage, nothing new or improved. Second Stage is its enhanced stage here it has moderately buffed stats making it considerably more dangerous. Third Stage is its "hazard" stage, this stage has the unit transform entirely (aesthetically wise and ability wise) and will make them a considerable threat to deal with.

    Infested Mechanics

    Infested Mass

    • As you kill more enemies, infested mass accumulates during the mission, causing passive mutations to all infested units. There are four tiers of Infested Mass and each tier increases the difficulty of the mission.
      • 0-24% (CM-1): No Mutations
      • 25-49% (CM-2): Some basic units mutate to Stage 2
      • 50-74% (CM-3): All basic units mutate to Stage 2, Some heavy units mutate to Stage 2, and hive-mind mini bosses have a chance to spawn.
      • 75-100% (CM-4):Some basic units mutate to Stage 3, All heavy units mutate to Stage 2, and hive-mind mini bosses have a chance to spawn.
        • Chargers, Leapers, Runners, and Mutalist Moas can mutate to Stage 3
        • Crawlers and Mutalist Ospreys stay at Mutation Stage 2

    Missions and Etc.

    • Various Mission nodes will have an Infested Mass Counter.
      • All Outbreak missions
        • Infested Mass starts a BSL-2
      • Infested Survival
      • Infested Defense
      • Infested Exterminate
    • Railjack missions (whenever there is a infested node for railjack) will have hive-mind bosses that show up similar to jordas golem.

Your thread seems to be rather contradictory.

    "No one cares about Destiny!"

"Oh and by the way, if you're bored, go play Destiny"

Shall we also glide past the fact that you, as someone who apparently doesn't care about Destiny, have made a thread about Destiny?

But how is OP supposed to get his free Internet points when there's another Destiny thread?

We're still missing The Sun (Dyson Spheres are a thing), Ganymede, Titan, Callisto, Io, Europa, Triton, Titania, Rhea, Oberon, Iapetus, Charon, Umbriel, Ariel, Dione, Tethys, Vesta, Enceladus, Miranda, Proteus, Mimas, Hyperion, Phoebe, Janus, Epimetheys, Lutetia, Prometheus, Pandora, Mathilde, Helene, Ida and Deimos (and probably more, I'm a bit too lazy to look at the moment) from the current solar system, so what's one more added to the pile?

Most of those are just tileset names

Those aren't real veteran players. Those are just followers of YouTubers. They watch Tubes, listen, and repeat it everywhere trying to make others believe it true.

As a real "veteran" player, though I detest even using that word... I can say that the content lately has been light, but there's always more in the future. I'm not spoiled, I've been there when it was 1 tileset, 3 factions, 8 warframes, and maybe 20 weapons.

There's lots to do, and only the people who lack imagination are crying.

Unpopular as #*!% opinion: The people who've been babied with cinematic quests and the like are complaining about content drought.

  5. During the whole 10 days the event is active, you can essentially get all pod the rewards even if you have 1 hour of time to play WARFRAME each day the event is active.

And since everyone is spontaneously a mathematician I did somaae math my own.

    p=nakak pearls

    1800p- all mods

    2200p- all floofs

    750p- DD auxiliaries

    100p- Beach colors

    1000p- Captura

    =

    5850p total

4050p just for the new stuff

    -----------

    (Acquisition)

    50p/5 min

    600p/hr

    -----------

    (Total time)

    240 hrs - 10 days

    6.75hrs(4050p)~9.75hrs(5850p)

Soo let's say you have 12hr of free time, every day for the 10 days the event is active (8-10 hr of sleep... or whatever your sleep schedule is and the rest to do whatever) you have the whole day to no-life farm the items.

Alright, so let's say you have 2hrs of free time cuz work or life or whatever, you can still get it all reasonably in 3-5 days.

Hell, even if you have 1hr of free time you can still get all the rewards in 6-10 days the event is active.

So what am I saying with my 5th grade mathematics breakdown?

    • It's not that bad
    • You don't need to instantly get everything the 1st day it drops (huh???who would've thunk, also TL;DR)
    • And you're probably not going to use that beach set captura as much as you're complaining about the price.

    Spoiler

This thread itself is as useless as the pearl price complaints
