  1. Well somebody did necro this post so that at least explains the random likes showing up on a 5 year old comment I made. ...Man I feel old when I remember 2019 was 5 years ago.
  2. I guess, but boy is it a strange feeling nonetheless.
  3. Lately I keep getting pinged for likes on a comment I made in a thread from 2019 that hasn't even been necro'd and that's confusing me.
  4. Yup, and we can take one look at Helldivers 2 for what happens when such a zero consequence kick system is available, imagine if people could force a host migration on people at any moment in WF for sick laughs -shudders-. Honestly I've not run into many full on leech players in Warframe though, if anything I've run into more people wiping the floor with enemies so hard that the other 3 players are lucky to kill a stray mob every now and then. In short, it sucks when it happens, but imo the alternative is more rife for abuse.
  5. Nah, I'm good. Don't mind the systems as they are, but they don't need more padding imo (if anything the content related to them needs more purpose, especially Railjack).
  6. Not that many, but I'm reasonable enough to admit my disdain for Switch Teleport still being a standalone ability that needs an augment to even do something remotely worthwhile gives me a very biased stance on the matter. Abilities that NEED an Augment to function in a remotely reasonable fashion shouldn't be a thing imo.
  7. Well he does have massive DR and one-tap hard CC (freeze) in Redline, also he can do a bit of nuking as well with his 3 iirc with the right build, I'd say A would be the minimum but he can probably also qualify for S because of the sheer cohesiveness of his kit, hell his 3 with Thermal Transfer can even buff the damage of his allies. At least that's what what I understand of Gauss' kit, I don't really use him because I don't really enjoy keeping Redline up though.
  8. You have my complete sympathy in regards to Nyx by the way, honestly I'm kind of surprised the managed to hit C tier in the survey considering, like you said, she's playing chess while the rest of the game is playing checkers...or backgammon...or whatever the current state of affairs is I'm honestly not sure. I'm just a brainless Umbra player who beats content by attrition more or less after all, that's why I didn't actually fill out the survey since I honestly don't know what is good or not, only what feels off or out of place (I finally crafted a Loki Prime lately and I've only used him like...6 times outside of getting him to 30 on Helene).
  9. Sorry, I mean no offense by that for the record; but in all seriousness nerfs or not, I still think Loki is not in the best spot and needs more than just nerf removal to be more unique, especially when taking into considering things like DE adding enemies that can't be disarmed (afaik) like the Murmur being introduced. I also still think they should put Switch Teleport as a hold cast on Decoy (and the augment as well) and give him a real 3rd ability...literally anything would be an improvement imo. ...Though I agree Decoy not being literally worthless past E Prime would be a great start, seriously even before enemy damage started to scale out of control how did they think it being made of paper was a good thing? Also a passive that isn't part of the top 3 "Wait they have a passive?" Club alongside Rhino and Frost.
  10. I wonder how long it'll be before people come in here complaining/coping about Loki being believed by many to be a lower tier and madly ranting about how good Safeguard Switch is despite other frames being able to be similarly durable without needing to spam a clunky ability every 6 to 9 seconds...
  11. I'm more likely to wind up saying "Today is March 9th, 2024" for example rather than going "Today is the 9th of March" but honestly this is purely just geographic/cultural differences and I don't find either wrong personally.
  12. We could also sort it by lowest to highest upper number though. Months go to 12, days range from 28-31, years are in the quad digits, which looks more aesthetically pleasing than something like 27/6/2024.
  13. Some players might ask for unreasonable amounts of platinum for stupid things, but that's the advantage of a free market, unreasonable sellers are often severely undercut by more rational sellers, that and because the postings aren't automatic buy/sell on a click and require two people to be active in their trading it prevents people from generating a monopoly by buying out their competition so only their absurd prices remain. ...Now if only people would actually remember to take themselves offline when they're not in game because I swear every time I've gone to buy something I've had to go through 3-4 people who are listed "Online in game" when they actually aren't.
  14. Yeah, more or less it probably is. That's why a lot of people use that Warframe Market site instead, hell I've had better experiences going all "Farmer's Market" at Maroo's Bazaar than trying to deal with the Trade Chat these days. ...But I still hold that's because they put both Riven trading and General trading into the same chat which creates this excessive reliance on filters to not see endless amounts of garbage offers flood the chat. They really should make a separate chat exclusively for Riven Mods since it makes up around 80% of the traffic these days.
  15. I think both are useful in different ways, Metric is best for as you mentioned, mechanical/scientific precision, but due to the slower rate of actual change I personally find Imperial better for rough estimation/everyday use due to the differences in the figures being more simple numerically in terms of range (e.g. 12 inches in 1 foot vs going from 1000 millimeters to 1 meter). Now the real topic is Fahrenheit vs Celsius, and outside of certain scientific usages I VASTLY prefer Fahrenheit because the changes are more precise for common everyday gauging of temperature (going even 5 degrees up in Celsius can WILDLY change the actual temperature whereas 5 degrees Fahrenheit is more marginal and less severe).
  16. Warframe's always going to be something you've gotta take in small bursts, even I'm in my burnout phase again after a few months (I blame farming the Circuit for Incarnons). But that's fine, Warframe isn't a game that needs to be consumed in a single bite, it's more like beef jerky, a bit tough to chew, fairly filling, can taste pretty good depending on the flavor and keeps for a long time so you don't need to worry about it going bad. ...Now I just want beef jerky.
  17. But to answer the topic...I'd guess around March 18th give or take a few business days.
  18. No kidding. Also the ever present "No nerf only buff" crowd are everywhere in regards to the topic, someone honestly said to me "People prefer fun power creep to boring nerfs" and I just...let out a minute long sigh. Maybe that's just my experience with Warframe causing me to realize that power creep inevitably leads to anti-fun game design specifically to counter said power creep.
  19. This I get and agree with, mainly because Warframe has gone through the exact same issue in a way in regards to the Grineer and the old armor bloat issue. But rather than focus on that, 90% of the discourse I've seen have been the "sHoulD HaVE jUSt buFFeD eVeryThINg elsE" drivel that comes up every other time, that or mindless "git gud" spam (which, admittedly in regards to the Railgun, probably applies towards the Unsafe mode at least) that doesn't look at any root causes. It's probably just a bit exhausting because I've seen something similar happen to Warframe a few too many times and really wish people would learn from the past of other games at some point.
  20. I've just gotta say, the comical meltdowns some people are having over the Railgun nerf reminds me all too much of whenever anything insanely powerful gets hit in Warframe. -looks at the Kuva Bramma Dramma and the current Nourish debacle- Like...eerily similar.
  21. Now after a single update which primarily nerfed one weapon that was basically a swiss army knife on crack which literally only was bad for killing trash mobs, there is absolute chaos among the HD2 community with several people claiming the entire game is ruined or that Arrowhead betrayed the playerbase while the rest are rolling their eyes out of socket from the severe perceived overreaction. ...As a long time Warframe player I can only say: First time?
  22. Birds however remain a government conspiracy.
  23. Honestly I just want Uranus Defense missions removed from the Neo rotations. I swear to god 90% of the time the only Neo relic option is freaking Stephano Uranus and I bloody hate it...
