Great idea for a Warframe April Fools joke
Aldain replied to TheBlingKing's topic in General Discussion
How 300 got typed in I'll never know. 30 would have been understandable, that's just "Oops I hit a zero by mistake" but hitting zero twice and not noticing it is one of those "How did you miss that" moments to me.- 4 replies

Yes.

Holstering a Primary/Secondary Incarnon doesn't consume the remaining uses of it, whereas the timer does tick down on Melee Incarnons when not in use. I can weave between using say a Latron Incarnon and a melee weapon with no practical loss in efficiency, with a Melee Incarnon every second I'm not using my melee weapon is a wasted second of that Incarnon charge.

Yeah I don't know why I keep getting dragged into other people's dojos but it's grating. Also it has a chance of unequipping Relics apparently because that happened to me once, it loaded me into the dojo and then the mission without my relic on.

I would pay/subscribe montly for dedicated servers.

I can hear the finger of the monkey's paw curling as we speak. -
I honestly wonder how many people even bother using filters in the first place and don't just ignore the chats altogether for being a bloated tide of spam.

Honestly I do wish that not every Melee Incarnon was tied to the combo meter. I really don't care for the combo playstyle in regards to melee, always feels like I'm overly focusing on melee while my other weapons are just sitting there for emergencies, also the build requirements for combo builds feel very same-y to me.

They announced Gundam Breaker 4 and I am currently unable to process how hype I am that it's also coming over to the west as well.

can we get Jonathon Ferguson reviewing warframe guns?
Aldain replied to dangerdragon117's topic in General Discussion
The only thing I know about that thing is that there's only one prototype of it that is left in the world (with the other two destroyed as the page mentions) and the only real claim to fame it has is "looking vaguely futuristic". Also apparently some gun nuts hate the thing with a seething passion because of that limited claim to fame. -
Thank you for fixing the Kaithe near the Mirror objective.
Aldain replied to Lancars's topic in General Discussion
I once failed a Kaithe race because of that forced dismount and had to clear the mirror from the course just to restart the race. So I can safely say that mechanic can rot in the ditch that DE threw it into much to the collective relief of us all. -
A run-on paragraph is not an enlightened form of writing just for the record, hitting the Enter key once or twice to section things for the reader is pretty commonplace (though sadly nowhere near enough apparently) for reading cohesion and formatting. Also, for a topic directed at DE, you put it probably in the single least likely place for it to be seen or read (that being the OFF-TOPIC subforum of the General Discussion forum) and if a person on the forum doesn't want to bother reading a meandering wall of text then I don't see any likelihood (even if DE did in fact read Off-Topic threads, which again, they don't) that DE would bother with it either.

Honestly my biggest concern is the spawn rates somehow being even worse than they were back when I was on Switch. I ran a disruption mission on Mars (relic cracking to be specific) and the first host left after 5 seconds (probably a network issue) and with the second one it took 15 minutes to get a single set of 10 reactant done due to the fissures just not appearing to charge enemies...and enemies themselves only appearing in clumps of about 5-6 at most.

...I really don't think this is a big deal, the mod itself is mostly just "Early Game life support" more or less and I find it unlikely that they'd make any more Aura mods actually have that universal polarity. It doesn't help that most Aura mods are basically just used for extra capacity, with only the rarer ones actually being noteworthy part of builds (see Power Donation on Nova for example).

I wouldn't even begin to know what to do with Nyx to fix her. Only idea I can think of is Psychic Bolts jumping to new targets after their current one is killed (up to a limit), Mind Control feels like it will never not be a meme, Chaos isn't that consistent these days (especially with Eximus being immune to it) and Absorb just doesn't really do anything. I think of all of the frames in the game Nyx is probably in the position of being closest to being flat out remade rather than reworked.

In future, could warframes be eligible for incarnon treatment?
Aldain replied to Kronxito's topic in General Discussion
Now an Incarnon themed Warframe could be interesting. Think like Equinox's form shifting but though buildup rather than just tapping an ability at will, going from single target abilities to build up meter then using that meter to become more powerful for a limited time. -
It's not even trauma, I just never really had an appeal for things in that "darker" niche in anime/manga. Like I know Berserk is a good series loved by a lot of people with damn good art and plot...but it's not to my tastes thematically. That's probably why Undead Unluck actually appealed to me to my surprise, it's not what I'd call "bright" but it kind of has this tone of defying that darker tone that can show up. Kind of reminds me of Soul Eater in a way, occasionally macabre but doesn't linger on it for long and keeps moving forward, but that's just me specifically.

Are there any tiles you are particularly fond of?
Aldain replied to Berzerkules's topic in General Discussion
The Void is pretty much the only tileset that I can play endlessly, every other one while ranging from good to ok will grate on my nerves eventually. But if there were a tileset I'd like to see massively reworked it would be the Corpus Ice Planet tiles...they're so utterly jagged and irritating to navigate. -

You've basically described Archon Shards more or less. -
Nothing comes to mind.

There is no such thing as a 'trash riven' for a torid or glaive
Aldain replied to __Izozel__'s topic in General Discussion
I tried to buy a Strun Prime Blueprint off WF market a few weeks ago, like 3 of the people selling marked as -online in game- were not in game and one person wordlessly blocked me for some reason. Better than trade chat? Yeah anything is probably better than that cascade, but the market was annoying in a different way for me. -
Does anyone actually bother with elemental matching?
Aldain replied to Hexerin's topic in General Discussion
And also not have 50%/25% of its damage resistance (Grineer/Corpus respectively) on non-Infested Health types because that alone is a bigger drawback to using it than anything else imo. It's the same reason Impact is mediocre outside of forcing Slash procs with that mod, Gas and Impact are the only two damage types that lose damage on flesh types, the gains it gets on Infested is also complete overkill considering they're already made of paper. -
Well I'm more of a manga reader these days, but I did enjoy Spy x Family's anime run for something recent. But I've kind of fallen out of the stock fighting anime/manga sphere, mostly more been in the nostalgia side of things, going back and watching things like the earlier Gundam series, Dragon Ball(+Z/Super) and my guilty pleasure of the Yu-gi-oh! series (I was very much into YGO back in the day, now I'm mostly just there for nostalgia and Duel Links). I tend to go on short binges more than consistent weekly reading/watching, like I just stumbled into Undead Unluck and wound up binge reading that for some reason that even I don't get as an example.

Sounds like a good idea until you do one bullet jump into roll and vomit all over your VR equipment.
