    Huh, I didn't notice it until after 2.4.3 and I was using it at the latest about an hour before the hotfix. 😕 Maybe it's not all the time then....

    .... tried the same tile set and frame as I used early yesterday but nope, still can't wall latch in grineer galeon tileset. 😞

    *whine*... But my veiled riven could be godlike! 😛

  2. None of the people I'm playing with can wall latch on any tile set after this hotfix.

    Would be awesome if this could be made possible again as unlocking wall latch rivens without wall latch is a bit harder than what is fun. 😛

  3. I'll add my thoughts to this.

    There is also no way to sort the gear wheel so hotkeys are now useless 😞 I and most of the poeple I play with use hotkeys for gear. And as soon as you want to replace something it breaks the positions and you have no way of sorting so you cant fix it yourself. 😞

    Other than that the infinite gear might be more usefull if it was a grid so you don't have to go round and round to find what you're looking for.

    Ahh this is my point exactly. :) You can choose to farm this way, it's effective but booring as F*** or you can run random missions and get the resources while playing. You have options as to how you can get the resources. But a lot of the resources from PoE you only have one option, and thats the stand around booring option, there is no get the resources as you go around and have fun option.

  5. Reading all the replies to this thread gives me hope that DE will see that something needs to be done about the farming in PoE.

    I personaly don't believe they should change anything of the content already in PoE as everything in PoE is cool. But not all is working as long as there are no options for alternative ways of farming resources. they need to add posibilites to get the resources from mining and fishparts as drops or maybe trade standing for them or something like that. As many in this thread has stated. You don't realy feel like a powerfull space ninja while idling on a rock for an hour throwing sticks at fish. Having to find wisps while doing other missions or getting them as rewards is to me okay as this is mutch like other rare resources in the game just done in another setting.

    As a veteran player this is the first update to warframe that has had me worried. A lot of veteran players have stopped playing regularly after this update. As they/we love warframe for its fun action and the ability to pick it up for an hour here or there. But PoE undermines this so players flee to other games instead and only login for the daily login in case there is new cool content comming.

    So please DE just give us options to get resources in more powerfull space ninja ways. I would like to spend my limited gametime having space ninja fun, not watch paint dry...

    Question:

    We all know you are busybusy making awesome new content. :) But what about more old content, like when will you add more pigments for us to farm for our dojo. this should be easy to add, its just more colours. :) Interior design fashion frame is happy frame! And I feel our Dojos could need some more love soon, It's dosen't have to be groundbreaking, just more stuff to do and get for our Dojos. :)

    Suggestion:

    How about making it possible to open up clan dojos for members of other clans in our alliances. Like a portal or docking bay, or something similar so that it could be possible to visit other dojos without an elaborate inviting prosess. :) That way we at least could show of our dojos to our new frends at the same time :) More exciting scoreboards in dojos etc.

    I have some thoughts of my own after reading this. I think ability one should only give one clip or less. or else it will be to powerfull. ability two sounds maybe abit to powerfull in my mind. Maybe if ability two where only for the player using it and you would have to stand still for lets say 1-2 seconds befor you could fire, and you would have to fire using aim. The number three ability sounds to me more like an ultimate ability so maybe that should be the number four ability, and ind instead a number three could be some kind of ability for absorbing bullets or lazers. In my mind this frame would be wearing some kind of kevlar vest but futuristic ninja style (think energy vest that only cover weak points or just main body). :P

  8. Q: Will there ever be a downsizing on the modslots? After removal of the ability slots and adding the ekstra slot in u17 there is almost no need to do builds for different senarios, we can now just put inn all the mods we want without having do lose anything. In my opinion this has removed the fun of having to sacrifice one or more abilities to make a frame powerfull when using its main ability or whatever you would need it to do for the mission you will atempt.

     

    and one cosmetic question:

    Wil we get the ability to put shoulder icons or similar on the liset (outside) so we can show off our alliance/clan logos while the mission is loading?

    The change is as so many have said not fixing the problem.

    greedy pull fixed the problem with loosing loot in games where som frames have to stay more stationary to keep the team from failing. So with greedy pull all would get the mods and resources.

    So the nerf is in that matter is sort of  bad, but Instead of just nerfing this mod I hope this thread will get DE thinking about the problem of getting loot, and like suggested earlier in this thread make all resources and mod pickups the same as credits. so nobody is left out. This is after all a team game.

     

    And since people talked some about the mesa and how the mesa ultimate ruins gameplay. Maybee we also should se a cone effekt on the mesa ultimate to sort that out?

    (facepalm)  And here's why it is important to actually define what we're talking about. You guys are talking about a system where your account is not lost if the password is somehow compromised.  You want something like a machine-specific identifier that prevents logins from computers/IPs that are not previously trusted....    which would do absolutely nothing to stop what the other camp in this thread is concerned about, which is friends and family with local access.

     

    You can't just cry "Security!", you have to identify the specific thing you are trying to be secure FROM. There are two completely different topics in this thread.

     

     

    Yes these to issues can be two different things, but they don't have to be.

    A 2 part verifivcation like an authenticator, could just as well be placed on the step where you wish to transfer ingame valuables from one acount to the next as well as something that will prevent another IP from entering the account.

    The reason I started this thread was to find out if there was anything in the making I didn't know about and to see what other concerns other players had without asking directly. and the answers came.

    You claim that we need to prevent logins from computers to stop keyloggers/bots from entering the accounts.

    The problem is not that they enter the account but that they can missuse the account. Witch can be preventet with a 2 part verification before you transfer anything out of your account.

     

    To me it dosen't realy matter what way DE would choose to solve this concern, but it does matter to me that we get an aption to add at least some sort of ekstra security, be it only verfied machines can login, authenticatiors or verification kodes sent via verified contact information (email/sms). that dosen't realy matter as long as we get some extra security.

  11. Nobody is claiming that some nafarius villian is sitting in his dark tower somewhere hacking game accounts.

    This is usualy done by bots. And then someone in the other end beeing all happy about getting free stuff from his bot/hack. And or somebody trying to make money of this sort of thing. Just because you can't think of a way to make money from this sort of automated venture. does not mean somebody is not going to try doing this with this game like every other game.

  12. Well my thought was the problem of keyloggers or simmilar. Since in my experience you can apparently get this on your system no mather how paranoid you are. And when that happens it dosent matter if you have a long password or change it often.

     

    So my issue isn't that people should be more carefull, it's that even if you are carefull you can still have your information snapped up by some lowlife somwhere that don't give a F* about you.

    And if this kind of thing gets widespread now that we can send items worth actual money to other players, it could potentialy have the effect that a lot of players don't think the warframe experience is that mutch fun anymore, and stops playing. I hope this soes not happen. I would rather DE implemented some 2 step verification or simmilar. (should not be hard to do) so we keep more paying players among the warframe players.

    If paying players stops playing DE could potentialy get a drop in income and that would effect us all.

    So yes i thik this should be done no matter if it uses developer time, because the potential damage the game can take from not implementing it, could be bigger in my mind.

    * Using a password with good strength (a reasonable length, not a word or name, and including numbers and symbols)

     

    * Never sharing your password with anybody

     

    * Not leaving your PC/console with an unattended login

     

     

    ....What other security measures do you feel are required?

     

    I used to feel the same, but with these measures and paranoid levels of script blocking anti vius etc. I still got my account hacked a couple of years ago (not this game, but still). And the only security measure that was not pressent was a 2 step verification that would/could have prevented that incident.

    I don't think it's likely that lightning will strike twice, but not having the option to be able to choose adding a 2 step verification for  security to our accounts seem to me to be opening up the posibility for somebody to missuse our accounts.

     

    I see that a lot of people don't wan't added security, but that should not prevent other players from beeing able to add that extra layer to their accounts if they want to know that their account is secure.

    I have been trying to find an answer to this question, but any thread I find on the topic seems to be closed.

     

    Now that we can send items in the market to other players worth plat. There is no other verification than pressing OK.

    And speaking from experience, getting your account hacked is no fun.

    So DE, when are we getting some sort of 2 step verification or similar to protect our accounts from missuse?

     

    We all love this game so it would be a shame if players stops playing this great game because they get hacked and loose all their plat. It dosen't realy matter if the devs help a player get his plat back. The fun will have gotten a big high five to the face with a chair if a player experiences beeing hacked.

     

    There was a dev stream a while back where DE told us thay would have to fix security before they would allow trading plat. I assume since we now can trade items worth plat this is solved. But it would be nice with something to secure our accounts as well.

     

    So is there any information about this anywhere that my googlefu did not find?

  15. I have the same issues, loading times was at the most 10-15 seks before the hotfixing started. now Its between 30-50+ sec per mission. And the loading time for the menu is also a lot higher, from about 1 sec to now around 10 sec.

     

    I optimized the download cache and turned off directx 10. now its back to happy days again :D

  16. It's more than just these 2 points made here by Eagle.

    We could realy use a tool to help set up groups, instead of the try to find somebody in the recruiting channel. The way it is now is scaring of new players from bothering with grouping up  with other players to do void and odd. We don't want to scare of new tenno we want them to join us in battle. ^^

    An LFG tool, where we can mark that the players for this group is keysharing T1CAP keys, and then only people with T1CAP Key(s) in inventory can join. It would also be nice with a listing of games beeing hosted so one could search for games, and or some sort of auto joining feature.

    And to sort of fix the problem explained by Eagle, we could need a sort of Conclave rating between X and Y so one could sett up groups of people with just about the same level of gear if the player hoslting didn't want low level players or high level players ruining the fun. :)
