  1. The following Warframes still do NOT have a purchasable blueprint for crafting from the market.

    Limbo

    Mirage

    Mesa

Limbo and Mirage do not award the blueprint from their quest, and they both show up under the blueprint filter from todays hotfix. Mesa shows up under the blueprint filter, but has no blueprint. None of the 3 have a blueprint reward from any junction, so I'm not sure why this hasn't been fixed yet.

  2. So, are you guys going to be adding missing blueprints back to the market any time soon? My sister has been stuck unable to build Limbo and Mirage, since this update came out because their blueprints are not on the market. Completely un-obtainable via crafting.

  3. What was nova grind like?

That was back when bosses didn't have a 100% chance to drop a part, and before they implemented them as mission completion rewards. It was an orb the boss dropped that you had to collect (no Carrier either). Nova specifically had a wonderful problem that even if Raptor dropped anything at all, he frequently dropped it in an un-reachable place or it fell straight through the map and was lost.

  4. The way it seems to me is that Prime Parts will still be attached to Void Keys, just not the Void Tileset.

In other words, I could do Apollodorus, Mercury, but I could somehow augment the mission by using a Void Key before entering, and then I will receive a Prime Part at the end of Apollodorus. Specific keys will probably only be able to augment certain mission types and level ranges.

There's some speculation in that, but it's my general understanding currently.

Considering they said void keys will still be useful, I'd say that's a pretty close bet, if not dead on the mark. Like you said though, some speculation. Until they know for sure how and what they'll be doing, and we're provided with that information, we just don't know. I do like that idea though..

  5. I wasn't taking shots. I apologise if I offended you. I don't know about Vauban Style alerts. What I described is how it sounded to me, and as I said it's not a concrete plan so I don't know how they'll do it. I think they said the parts will rotate and there should always be parts available, but I could easily be remembering incorrectly.

    • There will be reduced grind to level up Archwing gear

Am I the only one who feels this is an alcohol induced statement and not an actual game plan? I mean.. the point of Grindframe is to increase the grind. So it would seem, anyway. I just find it hard to believe considering they said something like that a year or two ago and it's only gotten worse. That said it's also a vague statement. "Reduced grind" could easily mean instead of 200 missions to get to rank 30, it'll instead take 199. So I guess we'll see. Is that coming in 17.5 also?

  6. Hmmm. I can't say I understand (right now) the logic of taking prime parts out of the void.

Unless they have so much new content to add that there is no more room in the void...?

    Thanks.

The logic is simple, the execution not so much.

The logic is that void drop tables are dilluted and people constantly complain about it. DE is at least trying to figure out a way to do something about that. Removing some parts (Frost, Mag, etc,) was part of that. They'll come back, but the void "exploding" is that all prime parts will be moved to the star chart instead. They don't know how they'll do it exactly. Last I head the plan was a "sort of alert" like system, where, say, Ash Prime Helmet appears on.. say Ceres - Egeria. But the tileset, and mission type will be random, so as not to be so dull.

This will come along with the Star Chart being compacted to some 20-40 nodes or something like that, rather than the 100+ there is now. Lots of people are quite unhappy about the idea. I for one am glad they decided to do something rather than keep adding Tower levels so we don't wind up with Tower 30 rotation C 0.0000001% chance to drop parts.

  7. Nevermind. Seems I had a filter on.

    Original Post:

I'm getting a similar bug. It seems some rewards are not being given, and some even TAKE AWAY mods you already have. Yesterday I was doing nightmare missions to try for Armored Agility and to my surprise I got it. Checked inventory to rank it up and no mod. So I did a few more missions, some were spy missions and none of the rewards showed up. Logging out and back in got one mod to show up, but none of the others.

Today I was doing nightmare spy missions and got a Shotgun Ammo Mutation as one of the vault rewards, went to fuse it with my existing one and now I have no Shotgun Ammo Mutation at all. Unranked or partially ranked. End of Mission screen, and the one shown in the Liset both say Mission Success and no error saying cannot save progress appears.

  8. Looks like I'm never playing it, then xD

Starcraft's System Requirements aren't actually all that high, assuming you have a computer, it should run it. That said, RTS is not my kinda game, I only know who she is because I watched someone play Heart of the Swarm, and sometimes watch streams, though have no idea wtf is happening, lol.

I believe there's a free trial for it as well, but don't quote me on that.

  9. You missed my point. My point being, its better to get 290X or 2 of it for crossfire rather than buying a GTX 980 For double the price.

Not necessarily. 290X is cheaper, but isn't better in all situations. 290X runs hotter than a GTX 980, so if you live in a hot place, the card may just die of overheating, or under perform due to thermal throttling. Then there's sort of features. Nvidia GameWorks, for example. Works on AMD cards, but not as well as Nvidia based cards. Also PhysX. Doesn't work on AMD cards. If you turn it on it uses CPU cycles which will slow things down. This is how Borderlands 2 allows PhysX to work when you have an AMD GPU, and, I assume why Warframe does not allow such a thing at all.

290X I believe also requires more power to run than a 980 and is less efficient with said power. Lastly, the AMD cards being cheaper might actually not be a thing if current rumors for pricing on the Fury and Fury X are to be believed.

  10. I am in Canada as well, not TOO far from DE, actually. In regards to what you said, I agree, I'd normally avoid something I'd never heard of. But companies do need to start somewhere, and Wendell's review of it got me quite interested in it. Korean monitors are also quite popular, especially in the overclocking community. While I certainly don't want to tell you or anyone how to shop, brand loyalty can be a dangerous thing. Always shop around for more than just the best prices. Price wise it's worth considering.

Thanks guys I guess 4k is out so I'll just stick to the 980 Idk I'm so new at this that all these names and numbers are melting my brain. MELTING IT. OH GOD MAKE IT STOP. I CANT GET THESE BEES OUT OF MY TEETH.

Haha, I apologize. I love to build computers so, I tend to get a little too far into it. The 980 is a fine choice. It would allow you to upgrade to 1440p in future, but much beyond that I don't think it'll handle too well.

The thing with building computers is there can be a lot of information needed for someone to suggest you a build. Budget wise, as well as activity wise. I mean, if you were building someone a computer for them to just check email and sort of veg out on youtube or something, well you wouldn't want to be spending the $600 ($800+ for me) on a 980 right? On top of that, everyone has their own experiences.

  11. You're right. But lets use my comparison.

    Asus ROG Swift (PG278Q):
    27" screen size
    2560x1440 (1440p)
    144hz refresh rate
    1ms Response time
    TN Panel
3D Ready (as if anyone cared about that)
    ~$700 USD

    AMH A399U:
    40" screen size
    3840x2160 (4k or 2160p)
60hz response time when using Display Port 1.2 or HDMI 2.0
    5ms response time
IPS-like panel (name escapes me at the moment) for better color reproduction
    $600 USD.

Now look at the screen size. 27" vs 40". If the AMH were to be 27" the price would be significantly cheaper. Maybe almost half the price it is now. That's pretty cheap for 4k.

I choose the ROG Swift as it's pretty much the top of the line gaming monitor right now. There are other options, of course. Graphics card wise, they can both be driven by a single R9 290X. The ROG Swift won't be using G-Sync on a R9 290X though. Are they going to achieve a constant 60 fps consistantly on a 4k monitor with a 290X? No, not likely. Even the mighty Titan X can't yet.

  12.  The new r9 300 series is going to be superior for 4k gaming due to HBM till nvidia catches up. Realistically nobody should be concerned with 4k till 4k screens are similar price to 1080p screens as that will be when GPU will handle it well.

Not quite true. The R9 300 series will not have HBM. Only the Radeon Fury and Fury X cards will. The 390 and 390X will be rebrands of previous gen cards just like the 380 and below. As for 4k monitors, you can get 4k screens for fairly cheap. Go look on Ebay for AMH A399U. While it's certainly not as cheap as a 1080p monitor, it's still cheaper than the ROG Swift.

I thought I addressed the 980 ti suggestion. I supposed you misread that. I disagree, I don't think the TI will out do the Titan X and why, because well look at the specs of the two. : / It's comparing cars to trucks, they get you places but they have different functions.

That's not strictly true. The 980 TI can actually achieve a higher boost clock due to less heat from having half the vram. So, again, in some situations it will be faster than a Titan X. Yes the 980 TI is a cut down Titan X, but just like Warframe and weapon builds in this game, on paper doesn't always equate to realistic performance.

That said, until the 980 TI is in consumers hands and much more testing and use cases arrive, there's no way to really tell.

  13.

Just let us remember.. as a certain doge said.. AMD drivers are about as reliable as a potato.

Nvidia had a driver kernal issue not too long ago, so don't talk to me about driver stability. That said, there is currently a deep rooted issue in AMD drivers which was causing Warframe to crash quite a lot, which is why DE made that decision to force people into using DirectX 9 mode. It's going to happen no matter what side of the fence you're on. So lets keep the Green vs. Red out of this thread, ok?

  14. If you could make a build on PCPartPicker.com I could help you a bit more. For future proofing I would recommend you take a look at the 980 TI. It's a bit more than a 980, but in some places it beats the Titan X, a $1000 (USD) card. The 980 TI is around $649 (USD), now other manufacturers are going to add their own customisations which will increase the price, so look around.

What InhibitedFox said about getting a 970 and then using that saved money to buy a nice CPU Cooler is also a good idea. The 970 however will not handle 4k very well due to it's 3.5gb of full speed memory and 0.5gb of not so fast speed memory. Among other things.

Right now I would hold off on buying a graphics card. AMD is set to release or at the very least show off their new Radeon Fury and Radeon Fury X cards on June 16th. They'll be using a new memory technology called HBM, which is supposed to be ridiculously fast.

  15. The NOR Flash is new to me. Thank you for the knowledge.

These types of flash are used in quite a large variety of electronic devices like cell phones, game consoles, and SSDs.

    *EDIT*

My god that sounds like some kind of documentary line.
