Well, it's a good thing we can speculate, I hope I'm wrong in every aspect regarding 1999's Update. :D -

It’s not just about “understanding” how other people operate or asking, “Why are they doing this?” Instead, it’s important to recognize their intentions through their work. Remember that most artists' creations reflect a part of themselves; if one aspect is emphasized, it reveals their priorities and what matters to them. I believe that most people wouldn't be as concerned about this system if it didn't include romance (myself included; I think it's unnecessary). If it were called a "Friendship" system, focusing solely on getting to know the characters and perhaps having a handshake or a friendly hug at the end, it would lessen the concerns many have. There’s no need for kisses—it feels inappropriate in a game like this. You mentioned an interesting thing. I never understood why they put the option to "pet" the cavias, I mean, It's Warframe, the players are here to hack and slash through things, and not "comforting" lab rats. It might sound harsh, but to me, that's the truth. About the dialogues between Granum and Ordis, I have to admit, I never expected that much of a vocabulary coming from Ordis, he wiped the floor with Granum's crown. ^^ Not sure about that, we are talking about creating and proofreading hundreds (if not thousands) of lines, that requires a hefty amount of time to get it right. And I didn't even mention the part of coding and fixing. -

I strongly disagree! The Creative Director's role is to analyze and approve or disapprove any content that is up to be implemented into the game. She has more autonomy than you think, and considering that (so far) I haven't seen any other superiors interfering in her role. So yes, she is DE when it comes to Warframe. -

You make a valid point. In my opinion, they focused mainly on the emotional aspects, while the development of Jade and Soren was insufficient when it should have been the main point. There's also the child to consider, and I’m uncertain how they plan to develop that storyline. Now, it seems they are concentrating on the "dating sim," as if it will make them billionaires overnight. I can’t shake the feeling that favoritism is involved here. One person seems to be in charge, and I believe that individual is responsible for this shift. -

Yeah, it's shifting, and I blame Rebbeca for that. She is the one that pulls these weirdnesses into the community, all this "jojo", "gyat" things are in people's mind and in game because of her, and now that she is the Creative Director, it will only get worse. When she became the creative director, I thought about giving her a chance because she has been there since the game started and did well with the Veilbreaker Update. But now I wish someone else at DE had taken over. With the direction Warframe is heading in, I'm worried about the game's future, but I also know it won't die because a large portion of the community has been "corrupted" by all these weird stuffs. I'm worried about losing interest in the game over time, and I don't want that to happen. -

It's Simple, even though the “dating system” is optional, it is being treated as “main content” while the real content (new liches) is being pushed for later on, which shouldn't happen. What "drives me away" is the fact that Reb is forcing this "dating thing" on the community and treating it like "main content". Everyone has their preferences, but if the content is not relevant, it should not be prioritized as one. The focus should be on the game itself for what it is, and not on putting her "hidden tastes" into it. Don't get me wrong, Reb focus on lore way more than Steve, I have to credit her for that, I just happen to think that she is not doing it 100% right. -

I thought I was the only one with this concern, and now I'm relieved to know I am not alone in this. Honestly, I have no idea why Reb is prioritizing a "dating sim" in a game whose idea is very different from that. It saddens me that most people prefer "dating" fictional characters that will barely add to the game instead of asking for what makes Warframe how it was since the start, grind, more enemies, carnage, new weapons, etc. While I recognize that Reb has a different style as a "creative director" than Steve, I feel that her "personal preferences" are negatively influencing the game. This also affects the community and doesn't contribute positively to the game's health. I have the feeling that people won't take my commentary lightly, and that's expected, but my point stands. -
She does not play the intended animation whenever I try to use Equinox's mixed noble animation set on herself (not just the day or night sets) with a primary weapon, such as Braton or Burston. Instead, she plays the generic animation of aiming the gun around. Here is a video I recorded showcasing such an issue:
