  1. I like the Lich system in general. However, there is one big drawback. If i want to play any other part of the game, the lich diminishes the fun by stealing the rewards. It forces me to have to grind the relics to grind the mods to grind the lich to kill it before i can get back to the rest of the game. Again, this system is fun, but only if i want to play it. There are two ways i can see this being fixed. either one or both would solve the issue.

remove the tax: punishment for not wanting to play this part of the game sucks. sorry, but it sucks.

create an "opt-in/out" trigger to summon the lich: killing a larva by accident because they spawn in front of your sword is forcing the problem.

I like the idea of "opt-in" because the player can then decide if they want to take on the burden of the lich and its easy(?) to implement. Just give the larva an "active lich" option when its downed, or kill it normal to avoid a lich spawn. Honestly, ive spent 3 evening grinding for relics to get mods for my lich. In that time, it has stolen rare mods, blueprints and many resources from me. I still dont even know a single one of the lich's mods needed to kill it. at this rate, itll take me weeks to kill this thing so i can get back to playing Warframe.

    TLDR Cool Lich system;unreasonable punishment(tax);let us opt-in/out

  2. I like all the buffs to Saryn. The one thing i miss is being able to cast spores multiple times. I perfer that over the detonate upon casting mechanic. But i see how it could self combo with the damage ramp. Still happy with the overall changes. Thanks!

Edit: Also, re: what SyBur says above me.

  3. This happened to me two weeks ago. Game crashed, without crash report. It just popped me to the desktop without warning. Then Steam had to reinstall the game to play again. All my other games were fine. I thought it might have been my external drive derping, but it seems to be working fine now. Just an annoying fluke, i guess.

    Good luck Tenno

  4. Two drawbacks of attaching damage to weapon level:

    1) new players could ramp up weapon damage to endgame levels before leaving the first planet, completely breaking the new game experience.

    2) applying Forma to a weapon would cause it to be useless for mid to late game players, effectively reversing the "apply rank points based on mastery level" perk. We would go back to carrying weapons on our back to level them, instead of use them.

Now, im not trying to defend the fact that mandatory mods should exist, but I just dont think the innate growth mechanic is a much better option. I think this issue really stems from NPC power imbalance. Fix that in a way where mandatory mods become less mandatory.

We are also starting to see a balance shift within new status mods and mods that need a trigger to activate the buff. *These new style of mods may help us ween off the need for mandatory mods of the same type as NPC balance works its way into the game.

Perhaps the lenses are, oh I don't know, good for people who don't run Hydron once a day? Some people just play the game for fun and passively farm.

while that may be true, lets use some critical thinking here,

you only get your first lens and access to focus after you do the second dream. by this point many players have learned about what mastery rank is and are at that time in their warframe existence where they are trying to figure out how to rank up all the excess mastery fodder gear as quick as possible so they can have more trades, more xp cap for syndicates, and access stuff like syndicate primaries, tigris prime, galatine prime, war.. whatever.

if that is the case, which it usually is, then theyre finding out about the modern day draco runs. hydron and Akkad. if theyre doing these runs anyway which they probably are then theyre likely going to be able to get a good chunk of focus while they do it, and if they use some sort of meta tactic in their squad (like someone bringing a banshee or a saryn) then boom theyre getting PLENTY of it. I think that with how often ive pugged both hydron and Akkad and rarely been in a mission that doesn't fill up with public players, that it is safe to say that MORE people are actually running these xp farms than those of the same disposition (grinding mastery fodder) that aren't.

This isnt critical thinking. This is anecdotal and biased assumption. Critical thinking would lead you to realize that DE has the numerical data on how much focus players are gaining. Why would they add a stronger lens if the data shows the majority of players capping out?

Stronger lenses ONLY HELP players so why crap on that?

  6. I didn't realize this was an issue because I rarely play MD any more. They take too long for such little reward, it's just not worth it in most cases. The whole mission type could use an overhaul, especially since normal Defence missions on the newer tiles have a moving or shifting defence object(s) anyway.

How does one keep their operator form while approaching extract? Does this only mean extracting if using your 5?

while waiting at extraction in a group, you tap 5 to step out as the operator. Then the rest of the group reaches extract before you step back in.
