  1. Ever since the UI update when some info (like hints in warframe Abilities screen) have been hidden in a popup window, contents of which are supposed to be toggleable by pressing "Tab". It never worked for me, but, as a veteran player I never concerned myself with it, hoping it will get fixed eventually, by the time some crucial stuff will appear in similar popups.
That time has come, and the problem still remained.

With help of General Chat I was able to pinpoint the issue: for years I had "Tab" key bound to "Show player list", which I bound in the days when I was playing Conclave often, and for which I found other uses now, in fact I tend to start most squad missions pressing "Tab" to see how many people are in the squad or whether or not everyone loaded already.

Turns out that action somehow overrides the "Tab" input. While I can rebind it for a temporary fix, and view the Railjack weapon stats with "Tab" as intended, I'd hate for this rebind to be permanent as it is something I am very much used to.

I believe I am not the only one having that problem and I really hope someone at DE reads this and addresses the issue.

  2. Railjack is a spaceship. Yet, for some reason, it has a "horisontal" state.
Meaning: when I roll into the orientation at which I desire to engage the enemy, and release the controls, after a bit the ship "snaps back" into its preditermined "horisontal" position.

Why this should be changed: space combat is not the same thing as plane combat, even though many space-centered games struggle to grasp this simple truth. There is no "up" and "down" in space, and undersanding this, as well as learning to use this to their advantage, would benefit many pilots. Maneuvers that are not doable in an "oriented" environment, aligning ship to see enemies best while exposing yourself the least, and dodging in relation to enemies rather than in relation to some absolute "ground" are bread and butter of space combat. This is why I would desire to have persistent roll, rather than global "horison-bound" roll. This is also why I lack roll controls in the new Archwing flight system.

Fixing this can be done as an optional thing, and if the development team thinks current system is easier to understand, they could as well make this a toggleable setting. But for users who want more depth to their space combat, and these who think with no "up" and "down", allowing to roll as we please could really increase the usability of the Railjack.

Name one buff or nerf that the devs have done recently because it's more beneficial to the game, and I'll point you to players who had at least suggested a fix or pointed out the problem DE tried to solve.  DE decides what benefits the game, not just the "players who decided to whine", but also not you.  DE did make this change, for whatever reasons they did, so you can complain about the complaining, or you can move on, following your logic.

Yeah... I really can't disagree with that. It just drives me mad that those who opposed Limbo's recently changed ways got what they wanted, for one reason or another, but those opposing the change on Volt, for example, did not.

And another thing that drives me mad is the fact that of all my suggestions not a single one was answered by anyone from DE. Like if I had no say in the game I play AT ALL.

I will move on. To fight another day. Shooting into the fog until I hit.

    Thank you.

  4. Heh... The only reason I cut 3/4th of the original post is because I agree with what's said there. And I'm not trying to dictate how you play. What I am trying to "dictate" is what not to whine about.

Following your logic, if Limbo could dictate what weapon to use (as you, who for some reason assumed that I attacked your whole post rather than simply pointed out that this particular point is arguable, are still stating), then I could say that Frost dictates me not to use my guns as his bubble stops allied projectiles as well as the enemy's. And while I do feel frustrated when my shots get blocked, I do not bring that frustration out to the forums, as Limbo haters did.

The line of "mental gymnastics" you failed to follow (likely because of a few preconceived notions you have about me) is actually pretty straightforward: you are stating that Limbo disables your 2 weapons - it's a fact. All that Limbo actually does is pause their projectiles mid-flight, and they still hit and do damage afterwards - this is also a fact. Therefore, you consider putting your projectiles into stasis the same as "disabling" them - the point I made.

My mistake here was going ahead and applying my years of observations of the majority of Warframe EU server's playerbase to a random guy I know nothing about (and to whom they may not apply at all).

Most frames had their abilities changed for "balance" reasons, or in other words, because Devs decided it's more beneficial to the game this way. I adapted and moved on. But Limbo's ability has been changed because of players (and again, I am not talking about you, but about the people I come across a lot) who decided to collectively whine about how Limbo is a "troll frame" and how they cannot use any weapons except for melee when his Stasis is active. It is them who failed to adapt and move on.

It is very good that you have your own opinion and stand by it. But if someone points out that they consider a certain part of your argumentation wrong, and does so in a method that you dislike, it is usually not the best course of action to verbally attack the person, rather than trying do disprove their actual arguments.

Protip: emotionally influencing potential readers against me and creating certain preconceptions in their minds might not be the most efficient course of action here: this is not politics, and you are not running for election.

WRONG.  The change was made because stasis was blatantly intrusive and effectively took away 2/3 weapons from THREE other player's kits while it was active.

You confirmed every word I said. Rush is  engraved so deep in your mind that you consider stopping your weapons' projectiles for mere 50 seconds (would be less, BTW, if Limbo saw you all doing it right) "disabling" them. This is the heart of the Limbo problem.

  6. Well, Augment idea is nice, but the only problem I have with Augments is that they take up mod slots...

Stopping limbos shots as an augment is a cool idea. It would certainly be a downgrade in terms of utility but would satisfy the people who miss it.

    Downgrade? Why?

  7. Now that Limbo Prime is out (which has been one of my most anticipated Primes, to be honest, along with Zephyr) I decided to look at the frame again, and made a dreadful discovery: Stasis no longer stops my projectiles mid-air.

I know all too well why ths change has been made. It is in the nature of Warframe players to do stuff fast, and few would actually want to wait until Limbo turns off Stasis for their projectiles to hit. But to players like myself who preferred the system as it was before this change, it is terrible.

However, there is a very simple way to keep both parties happy: make Limbo's Stasis stop only Limbo's projectiles (be that his own or of any other Limbo who wishes to join in with the art of time freezing), and allow projectiles of less patient allies to pass through and deal damage as usual.

Another useful change someone already suggested would be to allow Limbo's Stasis to be toggled on or off the same way as Nekros' Desecrate. Sometimes it runs out before you turn it off, which causes some bugs with indication and all that. So I would suggest also adding a singular indicator for everyone (in the buffs row) to display when the Stasis is on. This would rise overall situational awareness of the team.

That's it for now, I'm eager to hear what people think about this and I really hope someone form DE will stumble upon this suggestion one day.

    Over and out.

  8. The concept is pretty cool. The lines, however, could be changed from straight to something reflective of the warframe.

Let's say Banshee, for instance, could show a sound diagram and Frost could have a few icicles hanging from below.

Would give it more volume and personality, IMHO.

  10. Basically a piece of fan fiction based on the new game mode - Sanctuary Onslaught. Enjoy!

Grineer Kuva Lancer #198074 was walking down a long corridor carved inside the asteroid. Everything was calm, just like on his last shift.
And the one before. And all of the shifts he had since he exited the cloning vat.

"Why are we even guarding this?" - he thought to himself. "Nobody knows where the Queen's fortress is located - and even if the Tenno managed to find it, there is no way they could track it. We travelled more then 8000 ae since the intrusion. And in case they DO find us, we are useless anyway. Whose idea was it to put a bunch of footsoldier against a demon?" He knew the answer very well. The Elder queen, now deceased, was always keen on sticking to the old ways, while her sister is still too young to be bothered with military strategy and common sense.

Deep in his thougths, we walked on. The next second chaos erupted. The alarms broke the silence of the halls, mechanical clicking of a dozen automated turrets deploying from the floor and ceiling was lost in the sound of hundreds of feet, running towards the breach. He heard a sound of automatic Kohm shotgun somewhere on his right, but it quickly died in the sound of steel cutting steel. Fire was opened again, more and more randomly as the panic spread along with understanding: we're doomed. The Tenno came and there is nothing we can do but unload our munitions into them while they silence us forever with their steel, lead and plasma.

074's comrades fell all around him, it was hell. He remembered firing off a few useless bursts in the general direction of the steel shadows moving erratically on the field, mowing down legions of helpless enemies. Suddenly he realised that it was dead quiet now. The hall was ittered with corpses, weapons and fragments of bodies and armor. Yet for some reason, he still stood. The Tenno, the demon, was walking toward him, his sword sheathed and his guns holstered. In his hands he was holding a device, similar to a scanner, but something was off about it. Lancer tried to run, but suddnely felt an unknown force lifting him off the ground and suspending helplessly in air. Next, he was "scanned". Last thing he remembered was bright yellow light. Then, it all ended.

There was nothing around him. No, there was something around him. In front of him, in fact. A large orange... "Face", you could say?.. While it lacked any features you would expect from a face, it was clearly looking at him. And it looked... Curious?

"Fear not" - a roaring voice engulfed all of his reality. "You must be thankful to that Tenno you just met. You are immortal now."

Then, it was all dark, and time did not exist. That was not what he imagined immortality like. He could not move, or feel. In fact, he could barely think. He did not know how long it took, before he saw again.

Suddenly, he was on his feet. His feet? He had almost forgotten how it felt to have feet. He was in his battle armor, holding his Grakata. Yet there was nothing to engage. Strange, he thought. He looked around. Hundreds of Grineer Kuva soldiers - troopers, lancers, heavy gunners, hellions - stood around, waiting. For what? Then, the Tenno came. He jumped towards the lancer as his blood rushed through his veins in fer. Then, it was all over.

Suddenly, he was on his feet. He was in his battle armor, holding his Grakata. Yet there was nothing to engage. Strange, he thought. Strange, but somehow familiar. He looked around. Hundreds of Grineer Kuva soldiers - troopers, lancers, heavy gunners, hellions - stood around, waiting. For what? Weird, nightmarish memories rushed quickly through his mind. Then, the Tenno came. A few energy bolts were flying towards him. Then, it was all over.

Suddenly, he was on his feet. He was in his battle armor, holding his rifle. Yet there was nothing to engage. Where in the Void am I? He looked around. The shilouettes of Grineer around him stood there, unchanged. He knew the Tenno would come. He fired at the Tenno. A lightning bolt hit him. It was painful. Then, it was all over.

Suddenly, he was on his feet. No, not suddenly. He expected this. He tried to run, but the door was locked. There was nothing but void behind it. Then, the Tenno came. He did not know what happened, but he suddenly felt pain. Then, it was all

He was on his feet again. Why couldn't he just die? The orange face came to his mind. Immortal? Damn. Immortalized in torture. If he knew the ancient human mythology, he would probably compare it to hell. But he didn't. He was grown in a tube and the last of the human culture was lost in the Old War. Then, the death came.

He stood in the arena and died. Again and again in a vicious circle. Sometimes, it was the same Tenno. Sometimes - different. Sometimes he died before he could even see the Tenno. One would think that in such a situation, you train your reflexes to their fullest. But to train reflexes, you need to survive for at least a few seconds. The Tenno did not give him such a luxury. Something was happening to him. Deep inside he felt there was something changing about him. But for now, only one thing mattered. He lived. And died. He got used to the pain. He got used to "immortality". The only thing that was left to do was to get used to thinking in such situation. It would take time, but he embarked on that journey.

    Then, the Tenno came...

I think that The Lotus has transfered her "Oro" (If that's what the Sentients call it) into a humanoid form, but that she could still control a full Sentient body from that humanoid form. My guess is that as she is "younger" that Hunhow her original form would be smaller than Hunhow's (Hunhow seems to distinguish it's "class" as "Sentient Destroyer of Worlds"). I'd also imagine that she would hide it, perhaps covering it with something that would hide it's sentient nature.

"Sentient Destroyer of Worlds" may not be just a "class", but more likely it may refer to how powerful Hunhow is, no matter what physical form he inhabits.

  12. Don't forget that Warframe has a weapon modding system. Even though it is not as polished as it could have been, it still has some beautiful mods, such as Ammo Mutation. If you run out of ammo on any weapon, it is generally a good idea to slap this mod on the weapon. Carrier with Ammo Case is another good option.

Lately i've been getting stuck in the "ready to throw" animation frame, when i'm not charging at all.

I'm just spamming E to attack with combos, but some times i find myself stuck. I have to let go of E and WAIT for a second at least, and THEN the attack happens (and it's a normal one)

am i doing something wrong? or is it a bug?

Both are true. You are doing something wrong (you are not supposed to spam E), but it is also a bug, because everyone does it and DE might need to take that into account when making updates.

i am overall liking it , but i do have a request ,

Need the rebound thrown melee mod to auto detect nearest enemies on bounce, its not doing this correctly right now (not sure if this is because of the whirlwind and power throw i have on),

this will make it so very very useful ,

rebound was a very low utility mod earlier , but if i have Punch through + bounces i can really see it shine in closed environments while dual wielding.

Power throw removes any homing effects, just so you know.
